Arion turned to Dina."Have you ever made the journey to hell?"Arion asked."It's not the nicest of journeys."

She shakes her head. "I have had no reason to. What exactly makes it unpleasant for us higher beings? I could understand it being unpleasant for a human, but not us."

Alice saw the concerned expression on Anthem's face. "It's about the demonic ritual isn't it? You don't have to participate in it. It's simple really. It just replaces my black leathery wings with ones like you have."She said." And it's not even that painful!!!!"

" Well at least the unions are suitable enough" Metatron said moving away from her betrothed and towards Michael she had a message to deliver to him as she had taken command when the divine had left without word and left heaven in chaos. While it was not a message many would expect it was still a message none the less. " The divine gave me a message for you archangel Michael it is proud of your work you have held to its plan without fault" She said

"I am not even sure that it will work here though."

Arion though for a moment."Just imagine the pain one feels when getting their soul forcefully removed from their body. Then multiply that by three."Arion said."There is one way we can make you feel no pain, though."

"At least we can try. If all else fails we can just travel to the underworld."Alice said."Just because Michael says I have to live in heaven does not mean I can't travel to the underworld."

Her eyes widen. "What is this painless way?"

Anthem:


"Do what you must."

"Well by painless I mean no pain for you and twice as much for me"Arion said grimly."I am probably more used to pain than you though."

Dina:


She sets her mouth in a grim line. "No. That is not fair. I will pay my toll to pass into the underworld."

"I do not make any compromises when it comes to my appearance"Alice said.

Anthem:


"I understand. That is why I said, 'do what you must'."

"No No, It's okay."Arion said."Plus, Lucifer would not be happy with me if I let you take any pain."

Dina:


"I will not be selfish because I am afraid of a little pain," Dina says.

"No, I must take the pain. Even a 10th of the pain would cause most people to cry. This, also leads to less pain for me in the long run. Lucifer is not very forgiving."Arion said. He knew that angels are always trying not to be sellfish, but he really hoped that she understands he must do this.

Dina thinks for a moment, calculating the pros and cons of the situation. "I am not happy with this, but I will agree."

"Okay, Good" Arion said. He was relieved that she agreed.

Alice saw that the other pair was leaving. She didn't want to seem out of place."I think we should leave."Alice said to Anthem. She took his hand and started to walk.

She followed him closely, taking in everything as she walked. This might be the last time she saw her home.
