Fantasy Delta Green ~One Last Night At The Opera~ OOC

Hahaha!
Also I'm noticing that 9mm pistols are very common here :P

My character carries a .45 cal pistol. Do you know why M1911s were invented? They were used to subdue the Moro warriors in Mindanao in our country because these warriors would charge with their melee weapons while on drugs. So the Americans who were attacking Mindanao needed a bigger bullet to stop these super-drugged maniacs from chopping them to pieces.

Oh trust me I know about the m1911, it's a cool gun!

I try not to focus on the history of that kinda thing, for me I just admire the fact that it's a well designed piece of engineering and a staple of modern handguns.

True, it works so well that its even being used today...

Damn, that's sad. Anyways, this topic is an emotional one for me, let's talk about something else.

Oh, tell me what you've got in mind then! Russell's already introduced himself to the Delta Green Agency but he still has to meet the new recruits.
Ehehe, why do I feel like Alex is gonna take a leadership role just because I have a fetish for preplanning.

Anyways I'm thinking probably the best spot for our sniper to be would be on one of the inn building, maybe the west one (assuming north is up on the map) as that way he's got the best view of the area including all the roads in and out. The only problem is getting him and his gun up there without being spotted which means we might have to keep him nearby the area ready to spring into action if things get intense.

As for the mission itself it seems to me that there's much more going on then we're being told, these guys were sent here for a reason, and looking at GIles file tells me he's a pretty sane guy, not the kind to just snap and go postal without a reason, there's another variable at work here we have to look out for so be careful of that.

For information it seems to me that the inn and the cafe will be our best sources, the town is pretty small so we'll just have to play the information game by ear but those two spots are good starters, find out where the townspeople like to go and get em talking, try to be inconspicuous.

For Russell, he's going to take a non-violent approach. He won't come in guns blazing, instead he'll come straight to the rogue agent, hands up and say he wants to talk. Hopefully we can resolve this situation without resorting to... extreme methods.

Roight, I gatcha.
I suggest the group splits up to three teams in order to get things done. Killian is a psychologist, she knows people, she'll be the "face" of our group for this little operation and she'll be the one to go to the cafe to get information with Lennex and Russell for protection. Garrish and Dexter are better at the detective work, they'll head out into town to search for clues on the missing agents with Aveline as an extra gun. Lastly Akito and Alex on the backup crew, they'll sit pretty at the inn and try to get information there, if any signs of danger show up they'll act as a safety net for the rest of the group with Akito getting to the roof with his rifle and Alex there to keep him safe. Stay paranoid, keep in character and always stick to a group of two or more.

"Hey, where's Russell?"

*A few hours later they find Russell drinking coffee with the suspect*

. . . . . Damn, you thinking of using him as bait?
.....noooooooooo..........
XD but really someone like that could come in handy, it doesn't seem like too much of a stretch for the kinds of monsters we go up against to feed on a persons fear and use it for some nasty effects.
