Food [deleted]

I got into an argument on a discord chat because of this once. I said the exact same thing about the extinction of domesticated species and their argument was "people will want cows as pets!"

Cows need a lot of land, and unlike horses, you can't really ride a cow without harming its spine. More than half of the world lives in urban areas (so no land!) and/or cannot afford to keep cows as pets. Chickens may be a different story, and some pigs are bought up in the pet trade because they're assumed that they'll stay small (which usually ends up with them being re-homed, abandoned, etc so...yeah lol). So yikes...what an argument to get into...I feel your pain my dude.

She basically told me that the end goal of veganism is the mass extinction of farm animals.
They want to stop all abuse of animals (such as milking cows and shearing sheep), and as a result, have all farms set their animals free. Those animals can't live in the wild, but that's fiiiiine.
Because it's natural.
Yes, because releasing millions upon millions of farmed, domesticated animals into the natural environment will not cause a systematic collaspe of the natural ecosystem in the surrounding enviroment and lead to huge alterations in the food chain and scientific bullshit.
Veganism is potentially one of the most stupidest things in the entire world. Having a healthy diet with meat included is way more better than subsisting entirely on green products. It's not the healthy option either as vegans need to take supplements and do crazy ass suspension of the rules in order to make themselves 'vegan'.

It's even worse when vegans don't listen to proper medical advice. I once heard a story about vegans feeding their baby an all natural diet from their health food shop and it fucking died immedietely.

For half a second I thought you were a triggered vegan.
Then I read your post and saw nothing but logic radiating from it and said "Wait...
That's no vegan. That's a sane individual."
I mislabeled you im sorry.
Vegetarians are fine, vegans because they have to (because they will die otherwise or something) are fine.

An all natural diet for the family! Say goodbye to steak, crisps, and cake. You'll eat food
just like you're meant to; straight from the tree, the fields, and the corpse!

I don't care if someone is a vegan or not, but I can't stand idiots like that. Shearing sheep actually benefits the sheep. I've heard people say we should stop eating honey because it abuses the bees, which is just entirely inaccurate. I've also heard a ton of vegans say that the meat industry is just as bad as the Holocaust...
