Introduction:
You five are aboard the only ship yet to go dark in the fleet, a small Aethertech Computer Hub and Laboratory Carrier. This is intergalactic space, the abyss in the sea of stars. The mission, the first out of the Milky WayThe fleet had dropped out of FTL travel unexpectedly. The other craft have gone dark. No comms, no way to slaverig. You had to get back home, which meant boarding the FTL gateship. The Engineer had rigged up a boarding pod, The Biologist had a weaponized Biomechanical bolted onto his arm, the Security Cheif and a Guard are pacing back and forth, and the Android is just standing there, silent, observing. The pod opens, and you sjuffle inside qith the others, strap yourself in, and feel the acceleration as you are fired at the FTL gateship.

Engineer
Skills: Repairs machines, hacks consoles, FTL Maitenance
Repairing and hacking tech makes fighting whatever lurks in the dark a might easier. FTL drive maintenance will be essential for escaping the Deep Water.
Weapon: Omniwrench [plasma cutter, pneumatic hammer, magnetic field generator, short range]
The omniwrench allows you to cut, bend, and move metal. or foes.
Species: Pure human
Armor: heavy fireproof environment suit.
Biologist
Skills: Dissection of corpses, Healing, Genetic enhancement.
Dissecting Corpses allows you to learn more about what happened, and genetic enhancement allows you to modify yourself and others.
Weapons: Biomechanical Rifle [slugs, harpoons], Energy scalpel.
The Biomechanical rifle allows for accurate, long range firing of steel-hard chitinous projectiles. The enrgy scalpel uses contained antigravitational energy to nullify molecular bonds.
Species: Mutant, Biolumeniscent, Faster reflex, enahanced agility
Armor: Lab coat, rebreather, standard clothes.
Security Cheif
Skills: Cloaks allies, Overrides turrets, Facilitates comlink between allies.
Cloaking feilds and turret overrides will make evading your foes simpler. Comlink allows long-distance communication via comlink modems throughout the ship
Weapons: Dual laser pistols, Ceremonial Scimitar.
Dual laser pistols, perfect for silencing riots, and the scimitar, while meant only for ceremonial wear, is quite capable of cleaving flesh with its superheated edge.
Species: Cyborg human, full blood and body tissue nanite saturation, brain cyberization.
Faster healing, limb regeneration, and better targeting.
Armor: a dark turquoise nanocloth trenchcoat. Rubberized synthetic leather gloves and combat boots. A synthetic leather fedora.
Security Gaurd
Skills: Electrical sheilding, Short range teleportation, Zero point field generation
Sheilds block projectiles, and teleportation allows you to catch escaping prisoners, and zero point feilds allow you to immobilize your quarry.
Weapons: Riot shotgun, Tesla rod.
The Fully automatic Riot Shotgun can fire any payload you can put in a 12-gauge shell, and the Tesla rod allows you to stun biologics and androids alike.
Species: Cyborg mutant, Artificial myofiber, toughened skin, pain sensation dulled, adrenal gland overcharge.
You can barely feel pain when you are angry, and can rage like the berserkers of old.
Armor: Reinforced combat armor, Riot helm and arm-mounted force sheild projectors.
Android
Skills: Non-organic, Modifiable body, Self repair
Make yourself better with augments, and internal nanites can stitch your body back together after anything short of vaporization.
Weapon: Mechanical fists, internal flamethrowers, Microexplosives, Buzz saw gauntlets.
Kill. Everything.
Species: Android
Armor: Superalloy skin.
Rules:
This is action and horror.
