Realistic or Modern Decade High School RP

So, I've been wanting to do a high school roleplay from a certain decade. I like a lot of different eras so I decided to leave it up to you all. I'll have a poll put up with a range of decades. The only thing that I ask is that you make it accurate. Use proper language, manners, behaviors. I will give some leeway with these because I understand how it could be difficult. And I would like pictures from that decade, unless you have a lot of trouble finding photos. Then I will allow modern faceclaims.
That's pretty much it. This is a very relaxed roleplay, so I don't expect paragraphs. Just at least write three sentences.
