Deathlords far fouler and devious: The GM Deathlords!

Metagaming? HA! I killed anyone who tried that shit. My Wyld Hunts had exponential ass kicking power and I could insert a full hunt in less than a session or two. God bless spite.
 
I think my favorite thing in the Abyssal book is where it suggests to the Storyteller just how to take up the role of an almighty Deathlord.  I especially dig the part where it says just to assume they know all Abyssal and Solar charms, as well as every Sorcery and Necromancy Spell.
 
My DLs were scary to my PCs. For I hurt them, and hurt them deeply at every turn after they crossed the MoW and one of my own designs.
 
As they should be...   :twisted:  The only time a Deathlord shouldn't be scary, is if the PC serves them...  and even then they still should be to some degree.
 
Ah, the usual method of foiling the plots of ancient supergeniuses far older than you...do something they never expected that foils their plots...completely by accident. That way their ability to see 50,000 moves ahead doesn't help...
