Silver Wolf
Something Random
( @Rin Nyx Sorry, but I'll write the real reason he might have done it in this post.)
Yuvii & Kira
Yuvii watched the girl cry and spill out the story of her conditions so far. He felt pity, but he also felt some strange empathy. To have a friend suddenly disappear on you without a word. That was the most terrifying thing he could think of. After all...if he looked at his own past he felt himself drowning in sorrow for just a moment before gripping his knees. He felt a strange sense of him telling him not to leave though, despite the crying.
"It's alright. If you need help I'm available. However, if you have no intention of staying, I think Kira and I are going to search the temple ourselves. I plan to stop whatever is terrorizing the town. I'm going to guess it's the sirens, but I'm sure they're not the only danger down there."
Yuvii was of course referencing to the undead. What kind of power brought the dead back to life? He had to guess it wasn't the sirens' power, he thought Sirens only seduced their victims with lovely songs so that they could consume the life of their prey. Whatever was down there, must be darker than Yuvii could imagine.
Just outside the cavern, Kira was gently stroking Harlend's fur. Yuvii always took great care of Harlend's fur. So much so that the softness made Kira jealous, but he may have just been in a more saddened mood. He felt kind of bad for the way he acted. Yes, he could hear the whole conversation. It was odd to him though, how could a girl covered in blood right in the middle of the cavern that the Sirens could've emerged from? A girl who clearly had the power to control water and may even be tied to it. Could it be another one of those corpses, just possessed by something more intelligent? There was so much blood and not a sign of a wound on her. How could he not be suspicious?
Kira clenched his jaw as he thought it over again and again. Nothing else made much more sense. Even if she had a partner, she either ran away in the middle of a battle in town or her partner decided to leave her to fate after being scared off. Either way, all of the story was too sketchy. He didn't want to tell Yuvii this though, the stinking elf seemed to think so many things could be reformed just because he tamed a damn wolf.
"He's so innocent, but his vision is something great," Kira said to himself for the sake of calming down. "I'm smart, but I don't think I could quite conjure up his image." He decided that he would watch the girl silently, but friendly this time. If he could call his normal self friendly. It would be best to draw up as little suspicion as possible.
