Dearest Friend

Johnathan listened to the fight that broke out him, eyes wide, mouth slightly opened in horror. Something was attacking the Master, the Doctor was yelling, Robby was cowering against him like he'd seen a ghost...It was all a lot for him to take in at once. But he grabbed the boy, pulled him behind him to hide him, and quickly gripped his stick just in case. The man growled at her, the Master pawed at the man's hand, eyes wide in pain and fear.

The man watched her wielding her sword. Puny human...He let her do as she wished, and when she did so, he reached out and grabbed her by the face, hissing at her. It was like there was a shield around him, protecting him from metal. The Master kicked madly at his legs, but he was still scrawny. He could barely bruise him. The man squeezed, a dark grin appearing on his face. He shoved her back, releasing the Master for merely a moment, coming even closer to the woman.

"You don't understand." He hissed at her, growling at her, shoving her into a van. The Master scrambled about on the ground, trying to stand up, staring back at the man in terror.

Robby quickly rushed from beside Johnathan, hurrying over to the Master as fast as he could. The Master took this moment and reached out, grabbing at the boys arm and quickly hid behind him, shaking violently in terror. Robby whined and tried to pull him away, weakly tugging on the Master's thin arms, trying to get him to stand at least. Johnathan rushed over to try and help, but that man turned around and glared at Johnathan and Robby, not recognizing the boy what so ever. He reached out, Johnathan felt the whole ground begin to shake, energy filling it, and before he could do anything, he was flying through the air, slammed into a tree, and crushed to the ground. He cried out loudly, head spinning, hands flailing in pain.

Robby collapsed across the way from Johnathan, having landed harshly on the ground near him. The Master began to crawl away from the man, eyes huge as the other approached him. Energy burned on the man's hand, and he grabbed the Master roughly by the arm, dragging him with him.

Aria wouldn’t argue with the man who held her face. She didn’t understand, but that wasn’t important. She wasn’t about to accept what a man, stealing the Master, was doing without explanation. He could have very easily explained the situation before attempting to kidnap another.

She was shoved back once, twice, into the van. She stumbled over her own feet but didn’t fall. ‘Can’t shoot him. Can’t cut him.’ Aria wasn’t sure what her options were, but she knew letting the Master go wasn’t one of them.

The Doctor had been watching all of this, and he started to fiddle with the wonderful sonic screwdriver to find a frequency that would nullify the armor, “Come on,” he muttered to it, flicking through and trying to get the armor to vanish.

Aria, meanwhile, stole away into the van to find something like rope or handcuffs. She might not be able to harm the man, but it might just be possible to bind him in place. That would be enough for the moment. She didn’t see John and Robby’s tragedy, nor did the Doctor, who was too distracted trying to remove the armor of the stranger.
