Dean's Accident

Pulling out some baby food that they had brought, knowing Dean wouldn't want hospital food, let alone being able to eat it, Sam unscrewed the lid and spooned some up, while Castiel helped Dean sit. "Open up, baby," the taller cooed.

Dean whined and turned away from the food at first, but decided to eat it when his stomach wouldn't stop growling. He was hungry.

"Good boy," Sam praised as he continued to feed Dean. Eventually Dean would warm up to this, and eat happily, like he did before.

Dean yawned and whined, laying down, and closing his eyes as he fell back to sleep again. Hopefully, this time, it would be undisturbed.

Wiping the mess from Dean's face, Sam let his brother sleep this time. He exchanged the same worried look with Cas...they both hoped Dean would like them soon enough.

Dean shifted a bit, and smacked his lips as he slept, his chest rising and falling evenly, drool dribbling out of the corner of his mouth.

While Dean slept, Cas and Sam discussed the finishing touches they would need to make with the Bunker. Dean was staying at the hospital for a few more days, and so they had some time. They already ordered all the furniture for Dean's nursery, pacifiers, clothes, and the basics.

Dean was still in dreamland, smiling and kicking a bit, as he slept, not worrying about anything, just relaxing. It's not like he'd really have much relaxing time at home.

It was the first time Sam and Castiel had seen Dean smile in a while. It was really nice to see, and both men hoped it'd be a reoccurring sight.

When Dean woke up an hour later, Sam smiled and waved, "Hey, buddy. Have a good sleep?"

Dean yawned and hiccupped, looking around the room curiously, as he woke up. He smiled at Sam, this time, but frowned shortly after, keeping his happiness hidden.

It's exactly like before, Sam mused with a smile. "There's nothing wrong with smiling, buddy."

Castiel nodded, "Sam is right, Dean."

Sam frowned, "We'll leave you alone for a bit, baby." He and Cas stood up, and headed out the room to grab some coffee. They knew Dean would probably miss them a bit, but they had to know.

Dean laid back against his pillows and frowned, poking out his bottom lip, and whining softly. He actually did kinda miss the two, as they were the only ones who visited him.

Soon coming back with their drinks, both men instantly regretted leaving Dean. "Sorry, buddy," Sam apologized, placing his coffee away from Dean, so he wouldn't touch it and hurt himself.

Sam's heart warmed, and he hugged Dean the best he could. It was a bit hard, as Dean had only a good leg and arm so far. But they managed to get it right.

"Ow," Sam winced. Dean maybe think like a baby now, but he was still pretty strong. But he didn't mean it, obviously.

Dean looked around the room, cooing softly, as he started to wet his diaper and his tummy growled. He was hungry and needed a change at the same time. Being a baby was a big job.

While Castiel fed Dean some baby food, Sam managed to change his brother's diaper. It wasn't easy, as Dean would occasionally kick his good leg while he ate, and squirmed.
