Info on sign ups is at the bottom. Please read everything.

Overview:

The zombie apocalypse has begun. It is now up to the 20 players to survive 28 days, until they are rescued by the military. But beware, each day, many troubles will arise to prevent you from reaching safety. It is up to you and your group to vote on decisions to ensure your survival.

The Basics:

Each player will be assigned a number between 1 and 20. This number will help generate random events, whether it be players getting bitten on scavenge runs, players getting killed by hostile groups, or players getting lost. At the beginning of the game, the survivors have a certain amount of supplies determined by a point value. They will start with 30 food, 30 first aid, 30 ammo, 30 water, and 30 moral. Each declines each day by a certain amount. 5 food points are used per day, 5 first aid, 5 ammo, 5 water, and moral decreases by 5 points every time a player dies. However, these rates could double or triple depending on the activities the group did that day. Although a lot of the game is randomized, there is still roleplay present. It will be up to you to back up your votes in RP, so essentially, you should do what your character would do, vote for what your character would vote for, react the way your character would, etc.

Voting:

Each day, players will vote for two actions that they think the group would benefit from. The votes move the game along and normally keep the players alive.

Players can vote to search for ammo and first aid together, or food and water together. At the beginning of the game, the team will have an 80% success ratio for collecting an amount of any group of supplies between 5 and 10 when they vote for this option. A number will be generated between 1 and 100, and if it is between 1-80, then it is a successful scavenge. If the number is between 81-100, then the raid is unsuccessful, little to no food is found, and a player is bitten.

Along with scavenging votes, players can also vote to remove detrimental players. This means players who use their RP to bring harm to the group. You guys pretty much have free reigns here. You can either abandon this person with a low chance that they return to the group later on (4-1 chance each day), or you can vote to kill them with no chance of them returning to the group to cause further harm.

You could potentially vote for nearly anything, as long as it’s a realistic and reasonable RP action. This could range from voting to elect a leader to voting to fix up a car and move somewhere else. In the end, some votes could very well be catastrophic if the game masters choose to make it so (it’s the zombie apocalypse; what do you expect?).

Moral & Death:

The more players die, the more moral will be lost. The less moral that the group has in general, the less efficient on scavenging runs the players become. A complete loss in moral will result in mass suicide of the entire group (and game over).

Regenerating moral will cost one vote, and will be mostly an RP vote. Be creative here. It can be anywhere between singing a song and playing a board game to gain 5 moral points.

Each player has a 100 point life amount, and each day without one of the supply assets costs 25 points. If a player runs out, then they die. However, most players will decline at the same rate, unless they are bitten. Life can be restored by first aid, but the rate goes from 2 a day to 4 a day during days where you are trying to regenerate a player’s life.

Bitten Players:

When a player is bitten, a number between 1 and 100 is rolled every other day. That number will show how much life they're losing. Players can vote to kill the bitten player by using up a vote that way, because if the player isn’t killed they have a 75-25 chance of infecting another player when they die.

One alternative for bitten players is to try to amputate a limb. This has a 50-50 mortality rate, but if a player does end up dying, then they now have a 75-25 chance of infecting another survivor upon reanimation.

The last alternative for bitten players is to commit suicide, which has a 0% chance of infecting another player, and does not use a day’s vote.

Random Events:

Every once in a while (decided by the game masters using a randomizer), a random event will occur. This could be anything from encountering a group of survivors, to getting swarmed by zombies, to a player getting lost. This is the opportunity to make your own decisions with RP, and the game masters will decide the outcome depending on your RP skills.

If a group is encountered, the group can be hostile and kill a member of your group, or friendly and share supplies with you.

If you are swarmed by zombies, then two random players will have a 50-50 chance of getting bitten.

If a player is lost, he cannot RP until found, and could either die or live depending on the actions of the other players. After 3 days lost and not found, the lost player is beyond reachability and dies.

Game Completion:

The goal is to survive 28 days. Your goal is also to protect those around you, but I’m sure we’ve got enough anarchists out there that someone may end up making things interesting by purposefully endangering those around them. The winners will not necessarily win a prize, but they will win the knowledge that they survived the zombie apocalypse.
