Do You Wanna Have a Bad Time?
RULES:
I decided to add a joking flair to these.
1. Respect thy elders. ((Respect the owner/co-owners of this thread.))
2. Ye can become an elder at any time, as long as ye follow thine limits. ((You can become a co-owner at any time, as long as you follow the rules and seem like a good candidate to become an owner.))
3. Ye will start with the most basic of weapons and armor, nothing thine shouldn't have. ((You need to start with the basics. Batman can't start with the Batmobile, Batwing, and a full-on kevlar suit. Arrow can't start with all the trick arrows. You get the idea.))
4. Ye will control thine enemies. Nobody shalt do it for you. ((A hero can control their own enemies. Nobody has to, or can, sign up as the Reverse-Flash, Harley Quinn, etc.))
5. Word of the Grand Elder is final, even if thy lesser elders deny it. However, thy Grand Elder may be convinced with proper evidence. ((Main owner's word is final, no matter how many co-owners argue. However, if co-owners can provide at least 2 proper reasons against main owner's word, they can change their mind at any time.))
6. No comedic version of this rule, sorry. Follow RPN rules.
7. No comedic version of this one either. I know this is a lost cause in superhero RPs, but no godmode or powerplay.
8. I'm out of comedic rule wordings. Only up to 5 posts per arc(besides world-changing arcs), so fresh ideas roll in.
9. No starting major, world-changing arcs without consent. It's okay to kill off Commissioner Gordon if you portray the part of the universe with Batman, but don't have Darkseid do it as the start of his invasion plot.
10. No OCs. The characters are our own portrayal of them, so they're pretty much OCs anyway.
11. As much as I hate to boot out fans of Superman, no Kryptonians will be permitted. They're just too overpowered. You know they're gonna survive and, most likely, save the city before much damage is done. Especially before the discovery of Kryptonite, i.e. earlier Superman days, when they cannot be stopped. People can also BS some lame excuse to make Superman suddenly immune to Kryptonite, making him more overpowered.
HOW THE GAME WORKS:
It's pretty much our own version of the Arrowverse. All heroes are just starting out. You do things in 'arcs' when you're in this RP. More will be discussed on alternate characters later, and the requirements involve arcs, but for now, no alternate characters allowed unless you're co-owner/main owner.
The first 2 arcs will be randomized by me, i.e. an arsonist, or a robber, and the third will be an actual villain of yours; the more practical of the two main nemeses. For instance, in the Flash, it makes sense that Captain Cold would appear before the man in the yellow suit. So, Captain Cold would have to come before the Reverse-Flash.
Crossovers between characters will also be discussed later, but it's more on the fact that, one, we won't be sure whether or not we'll have the characters be portrayed in "turns" and have one person play both characters per "turn" or have them each control themselves. The second option would make for much shorter posts, while the first would depend on people being able to portray the characters like the original owner of the character could.
Remember the first 2 arcs being randomized? Well, you can come to me if you want a randomized arc for yourself when you're out of ideas. I'll try to include supervillains that time, but if I can't think of a good supervillain arc with the villains that are out, I'll be using normal criminals. Lots of normal criminals at once, most likely.
