Dick says "Wait what does full vampire mean? is this a bad or a good thing?"

Mitch smiles and sits down with his family and Valyn "Hey V are you gonna be coming over for new year?"

Mitch's mom Lola likes the idea "Oh yes that'd be amazing"

Mitch's dad Owen nods "Yes you should!"

Valyn takes a seat by Mitch, she fiddled with her fingers a little."Well if you want me to, I'll come especially for you Mitch." She gave him a gentle nudge."I was the one to convince him to come over to spend time with his family, you guys." She tells them."We should come over then as well." She nods.

 

[Flame Demon]

"It's a good thing since I won't be having sudden urges to kill people" Rose says "But everything that makes me human, my cheerfulness and what not, might disappear" she explains "Which is part of the reason I joined his team. I do need your help though".

Jason chuckles "Come on Babs, you know as well as I do that Rose took at least half the pictures in here" he says, he had seen Rose with her phone plenty of times, taking pictures, he also caught her once when she was using an actual camera.

"Well we just need someone to keep an eye on his. Maybe M'gann can do that" Connor says "Because if he is going to be in danger at the farm I'm not sure we should bring him there".

Barbara pushed him by his shoulder a little."Then Rose has picked up on it too." She stretched after that and gives Jason a baby blanket."We should get ourselves some breakfast unless you want to wait for lunch and have brunch." She tells him.

Tim grabs a thing of cereal to have."If that's what you want to do, but I'm not sure where else the kid should go or if he's able to stay here." He sits down at the table."She could, Rowan is our responsibility but let's eat first before we do anything Conner, grab a bowl." He tells him.

Dick looks uncertain about this and asks "Uh ok? what is it?"

Mitch chuckles "She's got me there"

Owen says "Well there isn't wrong with spending a night with your favorite woman, heck I thought we'd never get rid of Mitch" it was clearly a joke but he still gets hit up the head with the newspaper by his wife as Mitch and Rachael chuckle

"Well... to become a full vampire when you're a hybrid like me... I need to drink fresh blood, human blood, which trigger my vampiric abilities and powers I can't use right now, but... I have to die..." Rose trails off before quickly adding "You don't have to worry about that last part though"

"Or you've both been fond of taking pictures before you met each other" Jason says "I mean, I think you picked it up from Alfred, who knows how many pictures he has taken already".

Connor gets a bowl and sighs grabbing the milk as well "Is he our responsibility?" he asks, sure they let him stay for the night, but that didn't instantly mean they could take care of him.

Barbara shrugs as she stood from the couch with Julie pushing at her father's cheek and grabs at them."I've been taking them for awhile, these photos." She puts her hands on her hips."Breakfast or brunch?" She asks him.

Tim grabs the milk and he starts on his cereal, he raises a brow at him."You let him stay Conner, didn't think you'd turn down taking responsibility of the kid like what if you get your own then there's your practice." He explained."He's our responsibility in the meantime." He tells him.

Valyn giggled a little at them before kissing Mitch's cheek."You guys raised him well." She tells them."We'll be there." She smiled at him.

"Not longer than Alfred" Jason says while tickling Julie "And a small breakfast should be good, who knows when the others come home" he adds. It was nice and quiet for once in the manor, something that didn't happen do often.

Connor grabs the cereal box and nods "Because I couldn't leave him outside to starve to death" he says "And what if he has pack members remaining, won't they look for him?"

Barbara holds out the Robin plushie for her."Not longer than him, so perhaps it was more I took after him on that." She shrugs as Julie squeaked and reaches for her plushie."I'll make you something then, just let me know what you want." She tells him.

Tim glanced at the kids before munching on the rest of his cereal as Conner spoke."Which is kind of you, i wouldn't have left him either and no one else is stepping up for him since we're handling him." He shrugged."I don't know that much on them, if they are then we'll hand him over and have him go home with them." He pokes him.

Dick says "Ok your throwing a lot at me right now, what do you need me for?"

Mitch nods and hears a beep on his watch, he knew what it meant but he shut it off till they were done, it was a alarm to meet with Tim to see V's brother

Valyn placed her hand on his and smiled a little."You okay?" She asks him quietly, she turned to his family."They're really nice people but they don't know what you really do, the hero gig?" She asks him quietly.

He shakes his head and he whispers "I wanna tell them but......I don't know....I'm scared how they will react since I was there and I couldn't save Desmond"

Valyn gripped his hand."I would say they should probably know, they're your family and they love you but I'm not sure if telling them is wise either." She sighed and leaned into him, wondering how her brother was doing."Woukd they accept my brother?" She asks him.

"I need to bite you" Rose explains "I mean sure I could grab bloood from the hospital, but that's not fresh" she adds "Will you help me?", she didn't mind if he said no, since it was a very off request to make "You could think about it if you want" she says.

"But they left him on his own" Connor says, looking at Rowan "What if they abandoned him?" he asks with a sigh.

Jason nods "Anything's fine" he says giving Julie the plushie "How about I'll get Julie in one of the new outfits?" he asks "Or the sweater she got from Alfred?"

Dick says "Ok let's say I say yes? what's gonna happen between us, you said you lose everything that made you human"

Mitch says "I don't know-" they hear a knock on the table and his family is looking at them with smiles and Owen says "Something you kids need to tell us?"

Mitch says "I do at least, mom dad Rachal....I'm-" he is cut off by his dad "Crow of the Batfamily who used to be Red X"

Mitch looks shocked "H-How did you know?" Owen looks at his wife who wave her hand and wind carries some plates and puts them up as Owen says "Your not the only one who has led the super life" Mitch looks shocked

Barbara nods."Well you could put her in either, the sweater too she could put on when we leave for home so she doesn't get chilly outside." She walks to the kitchen to make some toast and some eggs, dishing it as she puts the plates on the table, Julie grabs the plushie and hugs it.

Tim leans into his seat, he bites his lip."I don't know Conner, I know we can't just leave him." He says quietly as Rowan sits under the table, he glanced at them and sighed before going over to Wolf ans lays with him.

Valyn gestured to Mitch."Okay if you've got powers why is this guy powerless and having to use gadgets?" She raised a brow at them, not sure if they knew about her either."You could've said something before, let Mitch know you support him." She tells them.

Owen says "I was the second hero called Wildcat the first one had the power to come back from the dead nine times like a cat, but I didn't have any powers yet I did frequent his gym and soon found out who he was when he had died for the 3rd time, your mother got her wind powers because the hero called Cyclone gave her blood for a transfusion she needed when she was in a accident at 22, after Cyclone got too badly hurt to continue fighting she asked her to be the new Cyclone, 5 years later we had met u[ and worked together and fell in love.....the meta gene in your mother's blood is a bit hard to explain but sometimes you may get it, sometimes you may not Rachael got it while Desmond and Mitch did not"

Rachael shows she has wind powers and makes the silver ware float "Sorry little bro but girls got the power"

Mitch slides a bit down in his seat "man I got robbed, but still you guys were heroes, Rachael did you ever be come a hero"

She shakes her head "Nah I knew about my powers, mom helped me keep them under control and well the rest you know"

"Nothing's going to happen, vampires still have feelings" Rose says "They're just... less cheerful and have a darker sense of humour" she explains "And I'm telling you this because I love you, besides, you're not getting rid of me that easily".

Jason nods and he heads upstairs, dressing Julie in a onesie before putting the sweater on her "There" he says with a smile before bringing her downstairs again.

"Well that's true, do you think we should look for his pack?" Connor asks "I mean, he might be missed and if Rose is already so cautious of a kid I don't want to know how if usually goes" he points out.

Dick thinks about it "If you feel this is what you want then you now I'll back you all the way"

Barbara gets them a glass of juice and she calls for Jason once the food was ready for them, she does aw at her little girl with Jason and Julie bounces a little as she kicks her feet then just hugs her plushie.

Tim pushes the bowl to the side, he watched the kid."That is something you should ask him, if he wants to find them if there is more of his pack out there but we should probably do that, they could probably handle him better than us." He stands from his seat."Conner who cares, don't let Rose near him or touch him." He tells him.

Valyn quietly sat there as they explained and she turned to Mitch."Would my meta gene skip?" She mumbled though she blushed a little."You're still cool anyway Mitch, like the rest of the non powered heroes and now you've got your powered family, kinda cool but not cool to hide it from you like that." She tells him.

"Thanks" Rose says "That's a load of my chest" she adds with a sigh "So should we eat some breakfast before heading to the manor or do you want to get some breakfast there?" she asks.

"I care because if Rose doesn't hurt him or comes near him and his pack finds her they could think she kidnapped him" Connor points out and he looks at Rowan "Are there still pack members alive from your pack?" he asks.

Jason chuckles "Good thing Alfred made her that sweater" he says "It looks like it's freezing outside" he adds mentioning to the window.

Dick nods "let's go ahead and head on over"

Mitch blushes when V asked her question and Lola says "We'll see dear" she winks and she says "We weren't sure if we should have said anything and indangered our kids, so when Rachel said she wasn't going to and the boys didn't have powers we waited and when Mitch started interning at with Wayne tech and new hero called Red X showed up we knew.....and Bruce knows about us as we know about him"

Mitch asks "So about Desmond?"

Owen says "Believe us when we say we didn't know he was the second red X or that he had been a villain, we knew he had a lover and she died which made him become distant but we never met her had we known we could have told him and maybe have saved him"

Barbara sits down and takes a bite, she turned to the window."Then she should be cozy and we'e got the scarf from Rose for her too." She smiled."Do you want me to take her so you can eat?" She offered.

Tim puts the bowl in the sink before walking over, he tapped his chin."Maybe, but we won't let them near her either." He pokes him, Rowan hugging Wolf."I don't know, maybe..." He mumbled."Just go do whatever you guys were talking about don't want to interupt whatever you have planned, I'll hide here." He tells him.

Valyn grasped Mitch's hand, flustered a little since she said it outloud."Y-Yeah, if Mitch is into that y'know kids or whatever." She squeaked, she slowly pulls Mitch into a hug when they talked about Desmond, to offer him the comfort her could need."It's hot your fault and it's not your fault Mitch for how he become who he was, he choose his own path." She tells them.

Mitch hugs back "I know I've gotten over it, I'm just glad I don't have to hide this from you guys"

Owen smiles "us too son"

Valyn held onto him, she kisses his cheek then glanced at his family before pulling away from Mitch and she had already told her brother where they should meet as Mitch talks to his parents, biting her lip."Well there you go Mitch." She hummed.
