Barbara was startled again by his raised voice, wrapping her arms a herself as a few tears fall, but she wipes them away and goes to quietly hug him, rubbing his back to calm him."I-I'm sorry Jason, it's a swirl of emotions I'm just...no, there's no excuse for my words to you." She sniffles."You really think there's another way?" She glanced at Mitch, he must've heard about the baby as well and she hides her face in his shoulder.

"Uhuh" Jason says as he narrows his eyes "If we could continue this conversation in private that'd be appreciated" he says "And not a word about this to anyone", really Barbara had enough stress "Alright, Babs, you are not going to help tonight, you're going with Valyn to the cabin"

"I already changed" Rose says "But the dungeon's not really the warmest place in the house either" she explains snuggling close to him "And my own body heat is lower than average".

Mitch nods and just leaves and texts Tim "Let's just play video games tell V and please no questions" he hits send and leaves them a little mad at Jason, it's his fault they had fight in a public room? ok thanks skunk streak

Barbara nods slowly and she apologizes again to him, she pulls away to walk out of the room after Jason and she goes towards their room since that was private enough."But...I want to help out, the cameras I'll be away from the action while still helping out." She tried to convince him.

Tim raises a brow at the text."Uh okay..." He thought something was weird about that but he just gets Valyn on board with video games and goes inside to the room to meet him.

Mitch was waiting in the living room and watched Barb live but refused to make eye contact with Jason

Tim grabs Mitch by the shirt to pull him off to the side, the guy seemed spooked."Okay man, going to explain or am I going to have to get it out of you?" He raises a brow, Valyn goes over to the drawer with the video games to pull out multi-player ones.

Mitch says "I see your ignoring my text.....look I walked in on jason and Barb having a fight clearly I wasn't suppose to hear it and Jason kinda gave me crap like I didn't get the memmo that the kitchen was off limts due to a lovers quarrel"

Tim let's go of him as he explains."I'm making sure you're okay and I'm curious." He shrugged."Uh a fight? Is Barbara okay and did Jason threaten you?" He sighed, the guy could be intimidating."I would just steer away from them for a little, I'm sure they'll be okay in a bit."

Mitch says "I just don't enjoy getting crap for something I either didn't do or didn't mean to" it was clear this was a pet peeve for Mitch and then he said "let's just play"

Tim gives him a little shoulder."I would ask what it was about but I'm sure Jason threatened you not to say anything about it to anyone and I don't want him coming after you so yeah, games." He sits down and Valyn sets the games in front in front them to pick from.

Mitch looks at the selection "wow Rose has some classics and even some newer games, talk about hard choices"

Tim chuckles a little."No kidding." He goes over the selection and Valyn leans over to Mitch."Want to ask him about having a movie marathon when we're back at the Wayne manor?" She whispered.

Mitch says "Sure, hey Tim, you down for a movie marathon when we get him?"

Tim shrugged and he grabs one of the games."Sure, but what're we going to be watching for the movie marathon?" He asks him."I doubt you could sit through a marathon of Lord of the Rings." He challenges him and Valyn giggled."Perhaps so though are you taking the superboy crush a bit far with those supermam pajamas?" She questioned ans Tim raises a brow."I have these just to mess with Bruce, he gets annoyed when we wear merchandise of other heroes." He explained.

Mitch says "Which is so funny to watch haha" he then thinks about Lord of the Rings "Can we even get through that in a day?"

Tim smirks."It is, you should've brought your pair with." He chuckled and shrugged."We could give it a try or we go for another set of movies." He suggests and Valyn sits with Mitch."Oh? So what hero pajamas do you have Mitch?" She asks him then hands him a game she picked out for them.

Mitch blushes and says "I have.......wonder woman boxer shorts and tanktop for men...."

Valyn was a bit surprised."Well, do I have some competition?" She jokes and kisses him."No need to blush about that, you're probably not the only one." She pokes him with Tim laughing a little."Okay I might've taken one of Conner's shirts which he gave me when I lost my shirt and I've got a Justice league set of boxers." He tells him.

"So you're currently my personal heater" Rose says with a small smile "I should be fine by dinnertime though" she adds, as long as she stayed there.

Jason follows after Barbara "I know, but your emotions are a bit... unstable" he says "And if you want to hide this then you need to bbe away from everyone who can pieceecit together"

Barbara sits down on the end of the bed."I know, I'd pity those who are near me if I'm ever angry like this." She sighed."It's just me being in there, not like I'm going to talk about it over comms either." She points out."Though is this why you're trying to get close to Rose?" She asks him.

"Not too close or Richard might skin me alive, but I am hoping to use her medical knowledge so we can prolong your life" Jason explains "Because I am never throwing you in the pit, there's a chance you wouldn't be you afterwards"

Barbara held out a hand to him."Is it wrong that I'd choose the pit if you can't find a different way? You're you...the person I love after you were despite you've killed people." She bites her lip."I don't mean to upset you but if there's another way, do whatever you can Jason." She tells him.

"But the pit changed me Barbara" Jason says and he adds "I don't want you to change, besides, if it wasn't for Talia I wouldn't even be 'normal', so no pit for you"

Barbara grabs hold of his hand."Then who's to say she wouldn't able to do the same for me? You haven't changed that much or else I wouldn't be with you." She tried to reason with him."But okay okay, you can go with your plan to find another way." She agrees him.

"Barbara I am not the same as before, you should know that" Jason says with a sigh "And even if Rose doesn't know of a way, I would rather lose you as you are than risk having you become someone you're not"
