[Flame Demon]

After everyone has seen their rooms and gotten a quick tour to show them the basketball field in the basement, the library, living room, game room and dining room Rose retreats to the library until dinner is ready and she takes a seat on the comfy couch with a stack of medical books.

Sebastian is showing Alfred the kitchen and points out everything he might need to make dinner "If you have further questions you can ask one of the staff that's nearby" he says.

Jason looks at the map, hoping to find an area he could explore the next day, it was late, so he could explore the mansion itself before dinner, though he has no clue where to start.

Mitch watched Valyn and went after her "Later guys"

Dick says "Later"

Mitch follows and catches up to her "Valyn are you ok?"

Barbara was going to follow Rose to the library but she would just go with Jason or retreat to their room but she did want to make sure Jason didn't get into trouble."So want to do anything? Else I'm gonna go to our room and take out a book." She tells him.

Valyn wraps her arms around herself."My brother...I'm just worried Mitch, I didn't want to bring it up with what happened to yours..." She says quietly.

Mitch says "It doesn't really matter what happened to Desmond....I know that sounds horrible but......if he was thrown in prison that would have ended worse for me and my family......but we'll find yours soon" he says placing his hands on her shoulders

Valyn shrugs."He's got powers too and Nik could be using him for it, for crimes or whatever he's doing." She mumbled."Do you think we could rescue him? Would Bruce even take him in like he did with us?" She questioned him.

Mitch says "I don't know Bruce well enough, but he brought you in, and even though he won't admit it, he knows how important a family is and never wants another taken apart, that's what Dick had told me a lot"

Valyn sighed."Perhaps so, it's nice to have a sorta family again and he would need it too..." She leans into Mitch."Maybe we should do something around the mansion like take a walk or something?" She says quietly.

Tim walks by them."I'll be checking in on Gotham and the Titans from tiem to time Mitch just get any info you could get on the brother, powers name or whatever." He waved a hand and went into his room, closing the door behind him.

Mitch waves at Tim and looks at Valyn "I'd be down for a walk" he smiles at her and takes her hand, he had something he wanted to tell her before they fought Desmond but didn't get a chance to so he wanted to find a spot to do so

Valyn grasped his hand and smiled at that."Yeah okay." She glanced at Tim wondering why the guy was being dismissive to them, she shrugged and just went with Mitch for a walk.

Mitch walked around with her enjoying being with her as he always did he felt safe, he felt at peace and soon they reached a balcony and he looked out over it "This is way too horror movie setting if you ask me, like it feels we're back in the late 90s of a Friday the 13th movie, God those were cheesy"

Valyn puts her hands on the railing and looked around, she smirked at that."They were cheesy well some...the freaky doll can't handle that guy especially since theres a doll maker dude or puppet dude villain makes it just scarier." She shuddered.

Mitch says "Fair enough.....hey V there's been something I've wanted to say since the fight with Desmond.....I wanted to say it before we went down there in case either of us didn't make it out but" he takes her hand holds it with both of his "....I.....I love you"

Jason shrugs "Don't know, might explore the basement" he says "Because you can't tell me that there aren't any hidden doors and passageways. Hey Dickiebird, what are you going to do?" he asks "Spend time with your girlfriend?"

Barbara puts her hands on her hips."Then I'm going with you because I too am curious and so you don't get yourself lost." She pokes him.

Valyn blushed a little but smiled."Well Mitch, I know that I mean we wouldn't be in a relationship if we didn't love eachother." She shrugged.

Mitch smiles knowing that's her way of an I love you too, he pulls her in a kisses her

Dick says "If I learned anything Rose she hates to be bothered when reading and we all know reading isn't strong on me"

Valyn wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him softly."You're so sweet." She giggled.

Mitch says "Rule one my dad told me is, North men are always supposed to be gentlemen" he says hugging her

Valyn hugged him."That is a good rule." She nods and leaned into him with her cheek against his shoulder."We should probably include Tim sometimes, he's doesn't have someone special to hang out with...kinda feel bad for him." She whispered.

Mitch nods "Yeah I've been thinking about that too.....it's not fair to him and I've felt like a bad friend....I wanna make up for it on this trip"

 

[Flame Demon]

"But she might enjoy the company" Jason points out "But we're off to the basement" he says "Have fun doing whatever you're gonna do".

Rose reaches for her cup of tea, she hadn't questioned where it came from knowing Sebastian wanted her to take care of herself, to see it empty "Right" she mumbles.

Barbara waved to Richard."You should least check in on her and ask if she'd like company." She smiled as she followed after Jason towards the basement."I swear if you try anything to scare me down here, don't think I'm not going to hit you as a reflex." She tells him.

Valyn nods."We should." She gripped his hand."Maybe it's why he's been so dismissive lately? We could play matchmaker too." She laughed.

Mitch knows why he was so defensive as he thinks Tim still thinks Valyn is a villain but he still chuckled and said "We can try"

Dick nods and heads to the library and soon finds Rose "Hey Rose Bud, you lonely?"

Valyn snickers."We should." She nods, she wasn't sure if Tim was still on that she could be a spy thing."Should we go check on him or just stay out here for a bit longer?" Her brows furrowed.

Mitch says "I wanna start making things right soon, let's go see how he is"

"A bit" Rose says not looking up from the book "I mean, Sebastian drops by to refill the tea sometimes, but otherwise it's a bit lonely yeah".

Jason chuckles "I wouldn't dare" he says and he scans the room "Where would you place hidden doors?"
