Barbara puts in directions for the nearest vet is for them to go to."Once it's healed, they'll take it back to the forest and set it free but first it'll go to a rehabilitation place for birds and animals." She tells him.

Jade puts the picture in her pocket."Uncle Jason?" She tilts her head before stepping closer to him."Alfred." She does smile at that.

"Please refrain from using the words 'uncle', 'aunt' and whatever else." Conner says "Because I don't know how old you are, but you're in the wrong time and place." he adds.

"But I wanna help it." Jake mumbles "Pretty bird...", he liked the bird and did prevent it from getting eaten by something.

Barbara sighed."I'm not sure if they'd let you have it Jake but maybe someday we can get a pet." She offered.

Jade steps away from Tim as he didn't seem to like her much as she could tell, from how he reacted to the vampire thing."Okay..." She mumbled.

"Also Tim, what would you expect, if she is who she says she is then of course she's a vampire, half anyway. Since your brother's human." Conner says "So you go and get Alfred."

"Okay..." Jake mumbles and looks down "But something tried to eat it." he adds "I scared it off to protect the bird."

Barbara gripped the wheel."Like what? You need to be careful as there could be animals who try to hurt you Jake." She warned him."Don't wander off without an adult." She tells him.

Jade corrects him."Full vampire." Shs skips away to go find Alfred herself and tugs on his coat but Tim clenched his fists."Shut up Conner." He mumnled,

Conner stops her "No. You're not going there." he says and looks at Tim "I could get him, but then you're making sure she doesn't move from here, you can also call Rose and ask if she knows what the hell's going on."

"It was a small fox and you told me to behave like a kid." Jake says "So I did and now you're still scolding me." he mumbles, he wasn't going to get in super dangerous situations.

Barbara goes to park fhe car."Jake you need to understand that you should be careful about things and think before doing something or ask for help when you need it, I'm only saying be careful and don't go without an adult with you." She tells him.

Jade stands there when he stopped her, she'd wait for him to come back with Alfred but Tim turned away."No I'm not calling Rose." He tells him.

"Then you're getting Alfred, geez if you want to avoid her getting near the others we'd have to do something. Also I don't know what your problem is with Rose, but chill out." Conner says, this was going too far. Sure, vampires could be dangerous, but not all of them are.

"I was careful! If it was a bear or something I would've come back." Jake says "And aren't kids supposed to run of to do what they want?" he asks, he wasn't sure since he'd never actually been a kid until they took him in and even then it took a while.

Barbara steps out of the car."No, you're a toddler and I wouldn't let you wonder off by yourself til you're a teenager Jake or atleast twelve." She tells him.

Tim folds his arms."Conner she has some sort of family thing she's going to, what if we're interrupting something that's why I don't want to call her and we might bother with uh hey we just found this kid who claims to be yours." He explains, Jade sits down in some grass.

Jake stays quiet "My friends used to do that, run of to play during a camping trip and they're my age. I don't know how to be a kid okay?" he says after a while, handing her the box and he runs towards the building, hiding behind a corner as he starts crying.

"Then get Alfred!" Conner tells him "The sooner we know she's telling the truth the sooner we can decide what to do." he points out.

"god damn , i just asked him a question , guess its wrong to be curious " kyle sets up is tent as good as he can before heading over to where tim is standing " is your brother always annoyed or is it just today?" he jokingly asks.

Barbara goes after him."Jake get back here!" She called out and goes around searching for him and it doesn't stop a man from trying to go after Jake and act like would be a friend to him."Oh poor kid." He pouts.

Tim jumps before swatting his arm."Don't yell!" He just walks by Kyle."Just going to say don't talk to Conner like an ass again, Jon's mad at you too for it." He runs off to get Alfred and bring him to the kid.

"hey your boyfriend blamed me for something thats not even my mistake , its not like a stabbed a baby tim" kyle says , walking away slowly.

Conner glares at Kyle "Jade, I'm going to say this once, scare this bastard away." he says, letting go of the girl "Jon is mad at you, dad is too." he tells Kyle.

Alfred raises an eyebrow at Tim "I have to prepare lunch master Timothy. Can't it wait for a few more minutes?" he asks.

Jake wipes his tears away, still sniffling and he looks at the man before kneeing him in the nuts before running off and hugging Barbara when he finds her.

Barbara grabs hold of her with a free hand when she came to him."Jake are you okay? Talk to me." She gets down to his level and wipes away his tears as she gives him the bird.

Jade points to the guy."Him?" She fiddles with her fingers a little before she starts to growl and show her fangs at Kyle."Shoo." She was only doing it cause Conner told her to.

Tim starts explaing to him about this kid they found claiming to be his brothers kid."So can it?" He asks him.

"i know conner , I KNOW , and this is all over a damn bracelet , im sorry conner , what more do you want" says kyle almost in a histerical way. "do you want to beat me up to get your anger out , GO AHEAD , please here ill give you a clean shot so its more satisfying" he continues putting his hands behind his back and pushing his face forward.

"Or if that fails you can punch him." Conner says, he really didn't feel like spending too much energy on Kyle "Also me punching you would be useless." he says, showing the bracelet.

"I guess not." Alfred says and he sighs "Alright lead the way." he says.

"There was a guy pretending to be my friend." Jake says and he adds "So I did what dad told me to do, but I can't kick that high, so... I hit him with my knee instead."

Barbara placed a kiss on his forehead."You did good...hold on." She holds up a finger when she noticed the man chasing after him and stands before high kicking him in the jaw then sweeping his legs out from under him, grabbing Jake to bring him inside with her."You're brave I know." She tells him.

Tim leads him over to where Conner was and Jade was as well in which Jade steps behind Conner when telling her to punch."He's not attacking us thoufh." She tells him.

"No, but he's asking to get punched in the face." Conner says "Also he was quite rude after I tried saving his life." he adds.

Jake shrugs "I'll never be a kid will I?" he asks quietly, he missed a few important years and he wasn't getting them back.

Alfred stops Tim when he sees the situation "Let's see how this is going to go. If what you say is true Kyle might regret asking for a punch." he says, he also knew how both Richard and Rose fought, so now he could see if this girl was telling the truth.

Barbara has him hand over the bird to them."You are a kid and you do kid things." She ruffled his hair."There's no right or wrong thing to do to be a kid well except Damian seems to have found a way." She mumbled.

Tim raised a brow."You want to let this kid fight the Amazonian kryptonian whatever he is?" He questioned him.

Jade seemed hesitant before she goes towards the boy and she brought her fist back then hits Kyle before she does a back-lit away from him.

kyle is punched back, his head is thrown back into the air but he manages to land on his leg , blood drips from his nose . he shakes his head wiping his nose before looking back at everyone " screw this " kyle walks over grabing his stuff , "you're all a waste of oxygen" he says blasting off.

Alfred nods at that "She's telling the truth." he concludes as he walks over "Now young miss, I need to know exactly how you got here because master Richard has no kids and is still a human." he says, crouching down in front of Jade.

Conner walks to Tim "How the hell does Alfred know it's the truth based on that?" he asks.

"Then why'd you scold me when I was doing kid things? I was careful and stayed close to the campsite." Jake mumbles, he felt like a failure at being a kid, which is embarrassing.

Barbara puts her hands on his shoulders."Sweetie, I was only letting you know and explaining I wasn't scolding you." She tells him."Compare that to how I scold Jason when I find him sneaking into cookies or your snacks or when Julie has her fits." She snickered.

Jade rubs her arm."I dont know, there was some sort of doorway ans it was lit up then I was suddenly here." She tries explaining."Other than that I don't know..." She tells him.

Tim shrugs."Maybe because he helped raise all of us and knows how Richard fights, he'd know the vampire thing was Rose but I don't know if he knows how she fights." He tells him.

Jon nods."Your dad said you're to be out here with us so just grab your stuff and set up in the tent, I grabbed another twin mattress for you too." He tells him."Like what?" He asks him.
