Jon taps his chin."You don't really have a costume...maybe I should get changed then we can just go as civilians." He shrugged."But yeah let's get some doughnuts." He tells him. wigi

"yeah probably , i do need a costume , a name too , i dont think being a random guy solving crime would be cool " says kyle .

 

[Flame Demon]

"Well for a long time I actually wondered why Dick would date me, vampire human hybrid, assassin who's not going to stop anytime soon. But I guess he looked passed all that. Jason also might've been jealous cause you are Dick's best friend." Rose says and she puts her phone away "Besides, if they remember everything that happens during the spell he's gonna be super emberassed."

"Master Richard please stop teasing your brother." Alfred says "If you start drama I will go and do the tasks I have to do."

Jason gives a small grin, Alfred was good with handling them all and it was comforting in a way.

Richard grabs one of the snacks to have."Oh come on Alfred, it's a sibling thing and its in a loving way...but alright." He usually listened to Alfred when he would tell him things and he gets settled one the movie starts for them.

Barbara gently puts her fist to her shoulder."Richard usually looks for the good in people and tries to be understanding, you managed to hook him so I'd call it a win and I'm sure Jason thought the same then he had more reason to question himself once he became red hood but he came out about his feelings, sometimes you just gotta jump though you got me curious why you fell for him." She smiled softly."Jealous? Perhaps least til Richard got with Kori and think they'd be embarrassed by something they've done so far?" She asks him.

Jon brings him towards an alley."Okay stay here, I'll be quick just got to fly back home and get dressed then I'll meet you here when I'm done." He tells him. wigi

"I don't know. I guess it's because he fully accepted me. Flaws and all. He doesn't care I kill or am an assassin, as long as I don't tell him what I'm gonna do if I head out late in costume." Rose replies and she chuckles "Yeah what was the deal with Kori? I mean... she seemed a bit clingy and possesive."

"I don't care it's a sibling thing master Richard, no drama during movie time." Alfred tells him and he sighs, wondering when things would be back to normal.

Richard shrugged."Then I'll wait til after the movie to talk with my brother...though aren't we doing family dinner then family game night?" He whispered the question.

Barbara nudges her gently."Oh come now, what else? Or is that really what made your fall for someone like him?" She was trying to get Rose to open up some more."She did get like that and I guess Richard got tired of it, not getting any space or not being allowed to hang out with any one and when she got pissy he was hanging with me he drew the line there." She explains.

Rose nods "And then she attacked me when she met me cause I wasn't 'good enough', which isn't really her call to make." she says. She's quiet for a moment "Well... no, it's also who he is as a person. I'm terrible at explaining things. I mean, why'd you fall for Jay?"

"Yes, but no drama during the movie." Alfred tells him "Miss Barbara and miss Rose will join you during dinner if they want to."

Jason frowns slightly, he guessed they couldn't leave Rose out despite it being a proper family dinner, but he didn't want anymore teasing about Barbara.

"alright ,ill be here, dont take too long " says kyle following john into the alley .

Richard shrugged."They should be allowed to join us..." He smiles at him and he gets shushes by his dad since the movie was going, he just leans on Alfred a little.

Barbara gently bit her lip."Oh yeah, we were there when it happened too..." She sighed before what she said about Richard made her smile but her question made her blush."Well he's courageous, his old rebellious attitude was cute, how he would treat me and that protective side while he is a stud he's a good person and we share some interests." She explains.

Jon pushes Kyle for saying that in a teasing way beforehand lifts off and goes home, getting undressed and putting on his casual clothes with a winter coat and boots then grabs his fake glasses and his hat then goes to meet with him. wigi

Rose smiles "Yeah he's protective of you and the kids, but that's a good thing." she says "I'm protective of Dick, but I also know he can handle himself, so I usually just wait until he needs help before helping."

Jason sinks a bit further down on the couch as he watches the movie.

Richard does end up slouching and sliding off the couch to lay on the ground with his blanket since there was more room, munching on his snacks and once the movie was over he sits up."So Alfred what're having for dinner and can I help?" He asks him.

Barbara smiled softly."He's caring and I agree it's a good thing but sometimes he can be a little overprotective, I'd like to get out there instead of always being behind the desk, like every once and awhile you know." She admits to her."He's protective too but Richard knows you're not human." She pokes her.

"Hmm i get where you're coming from, but I also get where Jay's coming from. You broke your back thanks to the Joker. Then you nearly got killed thanks to your own brother, I'd say he has reasons to be overprotective." Rose says "You can handle yourself, but he'd rather keep you safe in case something goes horribly wrong."

Alfred chuckles "I will be fine master Richard, you just enjoy time with your siblings." he says. Jason stretches and wants to play a game on his phone, but can't find it "Anyone seen my phone?" he asks.

Richard walks after him with the blanket around his shoulders."But Alfred..." He did want to help him with dinner though, he goes to jump on Jason and sit in his lap."Alfred took them." He tells him and Tim folds his arms."Darn it...though Jason I could show you how to beat that level..." He goes quiet when the power goes out."Nevermind brother." He mumbled.

Barbara fiddled with her fingers."I know, I'm sure he'd rather me not go out by myself either and he's died before which is why I'd never want him going alone or without me watching out for him." She explains."What about you? Are you more protective due to Richard being human or cause they can be reckless?" She asks her.

"I'm honestly more worried that he's gonna get attacked and killed by another vampire." Rose says and she adds "He can handle himself. But the potions have my blood in it, so that should ward off most of em." she mumbles.

Jason frowns, wondering when their backup generator will kick in "Odd..." he mumbles "I'm gonna go and check, wanna come Tim?" he asks, getting up after putting Dick on the couch.

Alfred is waiting for the lights to come on and he leans against the counter, wondering what caused the power to go out.

Richard pouts a little before going to find some candles to bring to Alfred, setting them down."Guess the storm caused the power to go out." He shrugs and lights the candles while Bruce was getting lanterns to bring put in the kitchen, dining room, and family room then to the girls incase they needed one.

Tim slides off the couch and stands up."It'd be something to do, should check the back up generator to get it going." He follows his brother.

Barbara placed a hand on her shoulder, offering her a small smile."I'm sure you wouldn't let that happen and he can handle himself...but you want to turn him don't you?" She questioned her.

"Not turn perse at this point, more like mark so other vampires will leave him alone. The potions I'm making should do their job." Rose explains quietly "And well... I still do assassin work,untraceable email and all that, but... someone wants me to kill him." she admits even quieter. The problem wasn't that she doesn't know who, no there's only one person who would even think about it, but she just doesn't know how to tell him.

Jason nods "It should've been on by now, I imagine Alfred can't cook like this." he says, opening the door down to the backup generator.

Alfred nods at Dick "Thank you master Richard, maybe you should stay with master Damian just in case." he asks, the storm cutting out the power was normal, but it was odd that the backup generator wasn't working, then again... they hadn't needed it for a while.

kyle sees jon returning "lets get some donuts , we have a lot to talk about"

Richard pulls himself on the counter to sit on."Nah I'll wait around with you til my brothers come back from checking on the generator." He smiles at him and Tim follows Jason, he takes a lantern when Bruce offer them one."Probably not so we cshould turn it on, I'm sure the one in the cave works." He tells him.

Barbara folds her arms."Thought you wanted to turn him into one? I know about you marking him." She points out but her brows furrowed at the next thing."Excuse me what? Who wants this and why? Is it as himself or his hero alias Rose?" She was on edge, he was like her brother.

Jon walks with Kyle once he landed on his feet trying to be subtle so know one would figure out who he was."We do? Uh okay." He goes to ghe doughnut shop with him. wigi

"As himself. Come on Barbara, there's only one person who would hold that big a grudge against Richard Grayson, sole survivor of the Flying Graysons." Rose says "There was no name, as usual, but even I can put that together. I just don't know what to do... if I don't accept it he will move on to someone else and there's no way I can do anything then." she looks down and sighs, she felt helpless right now.

"Is it so bad to wait with master Damian?" Alfred asks as he gets the ingredients for dinner "Please get off the counter, I cleaned if before the movie started." he says.

"Yes, but that one doesn't cover the house itself." Jason says, once he sees the generator he frowns "Well... maybe the wiring?" he asks.

Richard kicks his feet."I want to hang out with you." He explains though Damian seemed like he didn't care about hanging out with them, he pokes his tongue out before sliding off the counter."So what're we having?" He asks him.

Barbara sighed."It would have to he Tony Zucco, the one responsible for his parents deaths...weird he hasn't tried to come after him before." Her brows furrowed a little."If he sends someone else, can't you intervene? Tell me if there's anyone after Jason." She bites her lip.

Tim walks over before crouching down and checking on the generator."Did I say it did?" He raises a brow."It seems like a few fuses, can you get my tools?" He asks him.

"No, assassins code." Rose says "And I wouldn't know when or where they would try it." Rose mumbles and she groans, picking up her phone "But... wouldn't be the first time someone who wants someone else dead disappears instead." she mumbles, going back to the mail and she sends a short reply back.

"Why don't you just wait and see master Richard?" he asks, he had forgotten how annoying he could be as a kid.

Jason grins and hands Tim his toolbox "Grabbed it when we passed by it." he says and he holds the lantern so Tim can work.

Richard bouncing on his heels."Don't you think those snacks would've spoiled our appetite for dinner?" He was just a very social kid and energetic, he liked helping Alfred out too.

Barbara grips hee knees."You're going to go after Tony then? This is something you probably shouldn't tell him...he once tried to take vengeance on him when he was Robin but he chose to be the good guy." She explains.

Tim opens the box and takes out some fuses then the tools he needed to open it, he gets to work on it and replaces the fuses then some of the wires to get it up an running, turning it on once he was done."There." He stands up after that.

"I'm not sure if I can be considered a 'good guy', I mean... nothing against Bruce, but he's in an endless cycle of capture, escape and repeat with the villains here in Gotham." Rose says and she sighs "I don't see another option Barbara, if I don't he'll get killed by someone else and..." she trails off "The only way I would be able to safe him if he was dying in front of me... is turning him..."

"No, because dinner will take a while." Alfred points out "And it will take even longer if you keep distracting me, why don't you go wash the dishes if you want to be useful?" he asks.

"Well, time to test it then." Jason says and he turns the generator on, making the power return to the mansion "Can we go do that game now?" he asks.

kyle walks in with jon "i feel like i cant get anywhere by just sitting around all day and helping people without training , solving small crime feels like a waste , it feels like we've been putting everything that can help me as our last priorities , like possibly joining the team"
