On an Intelligence test, take the number of successes as the number of bonus dice to your pool for physical tests.
KI DRAIN: -1
ADDITIONAL PENALTIES:
1 fatigue per turn used inflicted on exit.
Remove penalty dice on actions that would oppose the "Cold Calculating Bitch" and "Raging Brute" Z-Souls
If the character takes damage (the damage taken exceeds the character’s toughness), they must succeed on a Ki Control check, difficulty equal to the damage, or have the transformation revert.
Takes 2 turns to transform.
Still more draw backs then any other Tier 1 transformation, although it now heightens ki recovery.
@Thief of Words :It's all good. The only reason why I replied so much was because yesterday was my day off. I don't imagine my usual day will be that prolific. The idea of a quietly suffering wage slave super-villain is actually pretty funny. I like it.
@SephirothSage : I dunno, I think a Lin Minmei-esque pop diva demon overlord would be fun to play. Hell, half of the fun of being "Bad" in a traditional sense in RPGs is to indulge power fantasies of excess and debauchery, right? That feeds well into the stereotypical image of a rock star, being all style, debauchery and excess. Whatever you want to do will be fine, though.
@vinom: I think that seems about fair. I assume you're going to be using those Z-Souls, then?
It really is, I just want to make sure I don't screw myself over with my choice of Aptitudes.
As for Racial Feats- Demonic, of course... and I was thinking Atmospheric Adaption, because it's the one that actually kinda makes sense. Biological Armor for just being super tough, because I do intend to be humanoid? Eh. Atmospheric Adaptation, probably. Or Enhanced Sense "Hearing" to have more intense hearing, to make my music better.
Mzidalgos the Destroyer was summoned into this mortal realm, by his cult on earth; a small group of mortal humans who had looked him up, and found his track record in the hells to be rather impressive. They called him forth with sacrifices and blood- and he appeared before them, gleaming in golden armor, beautiful in his arrogance... Only to be assailed with scientific questions on the nature of hell which he had no method of answering. Confused and befuddled by them referencing the arcane ways of demonkind in more scientific terms, he took a while to notice that he had been called forth with but a fraction of his power- the scientists botched arcana having left much of his power back in Hell, out of his reach.
He realized that during a particularly strange question- as to his peoples relationship with the Kai's. His beautiful face contorted into demonic fury, as he realized that not only where they questioning his and his peoples glory, they had weakened him- no doubt so they could slay him! He roared with a terrible fury- and unleashed what strength he had left available in a blast of Ki strikes. Utterly destroying that scientific facility- he set about plotting a way to regain his strength, as he surveyed the mortal realm before him.
It was then that he came to a simple decision. The Worship of the masses would suit him well, so he should set about gathering a /proper/ cult. To that end, he took up the name Merrick, to be better understood by mortal tongues, and went into music. He became a relatively famous rockstar- recouping some of his ego, at least, with the adulation of the crowds, and the excesses of the mortal world....
He went on as such for some time- until an alien fan decided to visit earth, and request his presence for a concert on their homeworld. He went- happy to expand his adoring fan base to other worlds, and interested in corrupting and claiming the souls of an alien world- the fact that his fan from another world played on his monstrously sized ego very skillfully probably helped to.
It was there that he found out about the planet trade organization- and decided to set himself some new goals. He'd rule the earth- and make them love him, as he kept them safe from aliens buying the planet.... before he went on to become their God Emperor, by conquering other worlds for the race he liked so much. It was a simple matter of climbing the ranks of this organization, until he had regained his former power through training, worship, and glorification of sin.
Who the hell did this mortal universe think it was dealing with, anyway? It was time to get started on his domination of the mortal plane- after all.
As for Kamis reaction- at our starting power level Yamcha could handle us. I doubt he is concerned by a Weak demon being a rock Star and not commiting any real evil.
Yamcha at the time of the Namek Saga, could beat a Raditz- and timeline wise we are a bit past Namek Saga.
Yamcha, at the time our characters exist, could probably take any one of us in a duel.
Why? Because Yamcha may be the weakest of the Z-Fighters, but he is still a Z-Fighter, and he still did train in the Afterlife after that Saibaman (Who was Raditz tier strength) killed him.
I have to disagree. After he got chumped by the Saibaman, Yamcha acquired the "Story's whipping-boy" and "Worf-effect" Z-souls. He might have been stronger then Raditz then, but he could never beat even a secondary villain again, because he was already beaten emotionally. Heck, by the cell saga, I'd rate Yamcha below Yajirobe in combat potential, because Yajirobe is the most tactical of the Z-fighters besides Piccalo and Gohan.
