Fandom Day Breakers

She nodded, "Understandable" She smiled and stuck her tongue out at the cranky boy. She ordered her weapon as well and sat near kioshi to wait.

Sienna nodded and walked to the doorway as Ryushi opened the door, stepping out in to the rain. A mischievous grin appeared on his face, and Sienna recoiled at the sudden splash of virtual water. "Oops!" Ryushi said, running his hands through his dark hair with a childish grin. "Hey! Uncalled for!" Running her hand through her hair and brining over her shoulder . It was surprising. Water here felt real, there was no doubt about it. Walking outside, Sienna bent down and scooped up a handful of water, splashing it on Ryushi. Sticking out her tongue, Sienna added. "I hope your armour gets rusty." With a toothy grin, she laughed with an involuntary snort. Pink pinched her cheeks and she covered her mouth, completely mortified with herself.

@Refaulted

( sorry that took so long! I never got the notifications so I never replied. )

Ryushi laughed, looking down at the water dripping all over him. He was drenched now, and he laughed again. "Very cute." He stomped in a puddle, splashing both of them with water. It was so weird, being in another world completely, but it feels like he was back in his own. Technology had really upgraded from the past. He chuckled and walked back over to Sienna, and pointed to her cheek. "What's wrong with laughing, right?"

Sienna, now completely drenched, took her hands away from her mouth and looked down. "Nothing wrong with laughing, but snorting like a pig usually is frowned upon whenever I happen to do it... Which tends to be quite often." Looking up she smiled and put her hand on top of Ryushi's pointed finger and pushed it down. "I guess they really put us in to character when we play this. Snorting, blushing, it's all there." With a laugh, she said " And this feels just like water!" Walking over to a street lamp, Sienna swung around like a child. Smiling and giggling, she hopped in puddles and swung around on the street lamps. This game was really realistic.

Ryushi smiled, then walked out and watched Sienna. He opened his inventory quickly to check his equipment again, making sure everything was organized. When he had finished that, he closed the menu and looked back at Sienna. He ran a hand through his hair again, and then put it down. It was an annoying habit he had picked up, and he wasn't too happy it had been brought over into this world as well. He usually did this when he was nervous or confused. He tried to keep his arms to his side as Sienna swung around on the street lamps that lined the streets. He chuckled, then stumbled back as she jumped into a puddle. "Jeez. You splashing me brings up the question of if we can catch colds in this world." He shook his head again, water dripping from the ends of his hair into his face.

Sienna laughed and gathered her hair to one side of her shoulder, wringing out the excess water on to the ground. "Good point-" Sienna began, but stopped as she suddenly sneezed. achoo. It sounded as high and small as a mouse. "Excuse me," Sienna said as she shivered, her arms wrapped around her in an attempt to keep her warm. "I guess this game is pretty realistic, because I'm freezing my ass off out here. I say we go check in to a tavern or something so we can dry off." Sienna turned and walked off in to the streets, searching for a place to stay. Finally, she came across a tavern that offered lodging. Booking a room and paying the expenses, She walked to the designated floor and entered her temporary dwelling. It was a large room with two beds, and a bathroom off to the side. Sienna smiled and sat on the bed, not caring if she got it a little bit damp. "Isn't this nice? And it's so warm." Sienna's eyes trailed to a fire place that was placed in the front of the beds. Getting up and walking over to the thing, she tried her best with the matches and logs provided, but nothing. "I guess I can't start a fire in a freaking game either. Mind helping me with this Ryu-san?" Sienna asked, wondering if she should take back the 'Ryu-san' part. Well, too late anyways. It's not like I won't say it again. Looking over she gave a smile, but one with a furrowed eyebrows to show sympathy for herself. She was quite hopeless, wasn't she?

Ryushi was examining the room, looking at the decour. It was pretty normal, nothing exaggerated. He nodded. "It is pretty nice. I like this simple type of thing." He turned when she said his name again. She had called him Ryu-san again. He smiled slightly, absentmindedly running his hand through his hair again then quickly putting it back to his side. She was kneeling by the fireplace, trying to start a fire with a couple matches. He walked over and kneeled next to her, taking the matches out of her hand, and examining the contents of the fireplace. There was wood to keep the fire going, but little tinder and kindling. He stood up and grabbed one of the blankets on a bed and ripping a piece off, rubbing his hands against it. It felt like the correct density, so he walked back over and pushed it under some logs. He quickly lit a match and threw it on the cloth and watched it spread, eventually lighting the whole fireplace. He gave a half-smile, then put his hands out to the fire. "This is nice... I always enjoyed making fires and camping." He remembered when he had gone camping when he was younger and almost lit himself on fire the first time he built one. He chuckled at how stupid he was back then. He looked down at his soggy clothes, and sighed. "I guess the rain in this world is also as annoying in the real world. I'm drenched." He looked over at her, then put a hand on her forehead. "Well, no fever yet, so let's assume you don't have a cold yet."

Sienna marvelled at the newly lit fireplace, and gave a smile to Ryu-San. He put a hand on her forehead, and she gave out a sigh of relief. There was no way she could get a fever in the game, right? Well hopefully. Sienna gazed back at the fireplace and watched as the flames danced and crackled. "So," Sienna began, as she began to stand up, "I'm guessing there's a shower in there. I'll go hop in, but I need to let my clothes dry..." She pulled her drenched shirt and watched as it snapped back to her skin. "I'll be right back."

Walking in to the bathroom, Sienna switched out her drenched clothes with a dry towel and wrapped it tightly around her body. Picking up the wet clothes, she entered the bedroom with caution. "Ryu-San, I'm in a towel. It's basically decent, b-but if you could turn around just in case my towel..." She was hoping Ryu-San could figure out the rest. This game was just like real life. If you were naked, you were naked, so you had to take as much caution as you would in real life here.

Ryushi watched as she walked into the bathroom, then stripped out of his wet shirt. He looked at it and sighed, then hanging it on the end of one of the beds. He looked down at himself, and decided he wasn't very wet underneath the shirt. He sat back down at the fire and let himself heat dry. He then heard Sienna from the other side of the bathroom door and tensed up. She was only wearing a towel? That was...he shook his head. He kept his eyes on the fire. "It's, uh, it's okay. I have my eyes on the fire." He ran a hand through his hair. She would walk out and be naked, except for a towel. "I, uh, I won't look, in case, uh, that happens." His whole body was tensed up. Half of his brain told him to keep his eyes on the fire and away from Sienna, because that would be nice of him. But the other told him that he should just watch her like he didn't care. He kept scratching the top of his head, torn between decisions. "M-my eyes are on the fire..."

@Imrealk

Sienna heard Ryu-San stutter at the towel conundrum and she laughed a bit, but not load enough for him to hear. "Okay," she bit her lip and walked out cautiously, her wet clothes cold against her arms. She approached the fire and could feel its warmth radiating on to her. Sienna noticed Ryu-San had stripped himself of his shirt and Hung it on the bed, so she did the same with her clothes. It was embarrassing, but she had to let her under garments dry too. "The fire feels nice," Sienna said as she walked to the other side if Ryu-San. She noticed his black hair dripping with water and walked off to the bathroom, only to return with another towel for him. "Here," she said as she extended her arm toward him with the towel clutched in her fingers. She held the towel around her body where the end overlapped on her chest and waited for Ryu-San to accept the towel.

Ryushi kept his eyes on the fire. He heard her speak behind him and he blindly reached for the towel. He grabbed onto it and started to dry his hair. He vigorously rubbed it dry, pulling the towel off from his head and putting it in front of him. His torso was basically dry, and he didn't want to take of his lower clothing. He sighed, his eyes on the center of the licking flames. "It is. It's nice to sit around a fire." He then stood up and laid his hand on her forehead again. Still no fever, so she had probably only been cold. He sat back down, trying to keep his gaze on the fire. He had never been alone in a room with a girl, especially one who was covered only in a towel. He coughed to clear his throat, because it felt like he had swallowed a golf ball. "Still no fever. Safe to say you're perfectly alright. No cold or anything." He nervously laughed, his hand running through his hair multiple times.

@Imrealk

Sienna smiled as he took the towel and dried himself off. Ryu-San stood and checked her forehead again with his hand, and she looked at him intently, where as he obviously tried not to make eye contact at all. Really, any contact with her body. He sat down and cleared his throat, stating to her as having no fever. "Well that's good news," she said as she leaned against the bed post. She felt kind if happy that he cared enough to keep checking her temperature, but was confused and even a little hurt that he was being so timid toward her. "You know," she began, "I hope you think I'm not..." She tried to find the right words to describe what she felt he might think of her. "Uh, skanky or slutty..." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Well anyways, I'm going to go take a shower. Seems kind if pointless, but I feel like I need one," she paused and turned around and walked in to the bathroom, shutting the door behind her.

After emerging from the shower a few minutes later, Sienna walked back out with a towel around her body and her hair slightly damp. She walked to the fire place and sat kotatsu position in front of the flames, absorbing their heat. "I'm all done, so if you want to take a shower or do anything in the bathroom, go ahead." Sienna said quietly as she flipped her damp hair over to her left shoulder. She felt her clothes that we're hanging on the foot board, and her hand met damp fabric. Her only option was to sit in her towel until her clothes dried out, which could end up being a while considering they were completely soaked. Sienna just sighed and watched as the flame danced before her.

Ryushi waited while she showered. She had asked him if she looked, as she said, skanky or slutty. He would have given her an answer, but she had interrupted him and went to take a shower. He sat there, watching the fires lick the outside of the fireplace. He threw another log on, and sighed. She hadn't looked either of them. It was understandable on her choice of handling the situation. As long as he didn't act rude towards her, everything would be okay. But before she had left, he had quickly taken a look back at her. He noticed a feeling in her eyes, something like sadness or some negative emotion, but she had hurried into the bathroom. This got him into his analyzing mood. Had he been too rude to her? Maybe it was him trying to avoid looking at her body. He thought it would be better for her if he didn't, so then she could be more comfortable. But, that rose the question of if she was sad he was avoiding looking, why would she want him to look at her? He was confused, which lead to more hair rubbing.

When she emerged from the bathroom, more damp than before, he quickly looked back and then back to the fire. She sat in front of the fire with him, sitting in kotatsu position. It wasn't odd, completely normal actually. At her question, he gave a half-smile. "
What, are you saying I smell bad?" He tossed another log into the fire, and sparks leaped out, springing around in the air like artificial fireflies. "And, to what you said before, it isn't skanky OR slutty. It's all fine..."

@Imrealk

Sienna couldn't help but smile and laugh at Ryu-san's remark about the shower, but she took in a breath when he had mentioned the question she had asked before about looking skanky or slutty. "Thanks... I don't know, I just- I kinda thought you were avoiding looking at me because I was being raunchy. I don't mind if you make eye contact or look at me, I was just nervous I was gonna drop the towel or something..." Sienna sighed. "I'm sorry if I confused you. I know I told you not to look... I'm sorry." She looked at the spitting flames and chuckled a bit. "I guess I'm no more confident in this body than I am in my real one." A heavy breath escaped her lungs and she felt a bit better. "And by the way," she looked over at Ryu-San with an evilish smirk. "You DO smell bad. I bet people in real life can even smell you." She said with sarcasm, and laughed at her joke. This was the first time she had felt comfortable talking to a boy, and it felt no different than talking to a normal friend. But it had a different feel to it-- more special. Sienna was happy.

Ryushi attempted to look aghast at her comment about him. "Well. That was rude." He laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "And I wasn't keeping my gaze from you because I thought you were scarcely-dressed. I just didn't want you to feel uncomfortable or anything." He held out his arms, looking over his virtual body. "Truthfully? I attempted to make my avatar look as close to me as I could. Except a little more well-built and kinda taller. I don't want to be in a body I'm not the same as. It makes me feel...fake. But that's just me, you know?" Looking back at it, he really had done a good job on his avatar. It came out more similar than he thought. From his hair to his skin tone to his eye color. The only thing missing were his glasses. He smiled slightly, realizing he hadn't even noticed that he wasn't wearing any. And everything looked even clearer. Then again, it was just a game, but it made him wonder how this all worked. He then sniffed the air, looking at her puzzled. "Wait, do I actually smell that bad?" Same as real-life. He couldn't tell how bad he smelled unless he was camping. Then his nose caught the whiff. But his avatar didn't smell bad, if he could even smell himself. It was odd, talking to a girl. Ryushi rarely talked to anyone outside of his few classmates, and all of them were boys. Except when a girl would occasionally join in on some conversations. Talking to Sienna, it felt...right. Almost like something that he had been supposed to do for a while now. It was new to him.

@Imrealk

Sienna laughed and lightly pushed his shoulder. "No, ding dong. You smell fine." She retracted her arm and glanced at the realistic looking wrist that she had created. "For me, I just go with whatever I like. Video games to me are like an escape, so making myself as different as possible is the goal. It's like new beginnings." She looked back at her still extremely damp clothes. "But to be honest, this whole 'mimicking life to a T' thing is kinda pissing me off. Sure it's cool in some circumstances, but other times it's a pain in the ass. My clothes are still wet." She sighed, and felt vulnerable as she sat there with no clothes on. "But I can see where you're coming from with the whole being fake thing. Makes sense." The golden embers of the fire danced outside the fire place and awed Sienna as they were so realistic. The game was great, there was no doubt, but you would think things would dry faster so it would be somewhat game like.

Ryushi looked over at her clothes hanging off the bed. It was annoying, some of the real-life things that were included in the game. For example, wet clothing. He chuckled and looked back in the fire. He threw another log in and watched it burn. A piece broke in half, and sparks flew out of the fireplace and flew around him. He smiled, a full one this time, and waved his hand slowly, the sparks seeming to swirl around his hand. He pulled it back as the sparks fell down. "Yeah, some stuff is annoying. But some stuff is cool. Like how real a fire feels." He leaned back on his palms, whistling. He looked over at Sienna. She had made her character very well. Actually, it was very attractive. He blushed slightly and looked back at the fire quickly, his whistling becoming a little faster paced. He diverted his attention to the his soggy shirt, then his still somewhat damp pants. His torso had blocked most of the rain, so that meant his pants had been decently protected from the water, which was good. Sienna had played in puddles and on the street lamps, which made more sense on why her clothes were still drying.

@Imrealk

Sienna smiled as the embers danced around Ryu-san's hand, and it reminded her of a fairy tail. He began whistling, a happy tune that made her smile as she watched the fire. The flames were a saturated colour of red an orange, and they were very beautiful. The pace quickened in his tune, and Sienna looked over. His cheeks seemed a bit flushed. "Hey," she leaned over and put her hand on his forehead and on his cheek. "I might not have gotten a fever, but maybe you did..." She clutched her towel at the chest a little tighter. It was hard to manoeuvre in a towel, especially sitting down. "Hm. You're warm, but it could just be the fire. Do you feel okay?" She asked as she felt Ryu-chan's cheek with the back of her hand. It would make sense if people could get sick, so they would have to keep up their health level. It's a set back, and it's probably why they add all of these annoying features in to the game.

(Sorry I fell asleep then started watching Drake and Josh ;- ;)

Ryushi felt her touch his forehead and then his cheek. He tensed up a little, keeping his eyes on the fire. She had a pretty tender touch, and it felt serene. He shook his head a little too vigorously, his somewhat long hair flinging around. "N-no! No, I'm fine. Probably the fire. Yeah, the fire. Not a cold! Perfectly fine." He laughed, running a hand through his hair again. "Totally healthy. Tooootally healthy..." He cursed himself inside. He was never good in situations that made him nervous. He would ramble and scratch his head and tense up, all making him look strange. He would do the same thing for finals in school, sitting at his desk in his room pouring over every textbook he had hoping to pass. Or when he did something wrong that he could get in trouble with his parents, so he would lock himself in his room to avoid them. Though, then they knew something was wrong. But there wasn't many places he could hide right now to avoid the humiliation of his fidgeting. "If healthy was a blood-type, that's what I would be! Heh heh..."

(Don't worry. I do the same occasionally. It's all good.
:P )

@Imrealk

Sienna recoiled her hand as it seemed Ryu-San felt uncomfortable. He began rambling, talking about how he was completely healthy, and began fidgeting uncomfortably. "O-oh. Okay, if you're sure. Um, just let me know if you do feel sick..." Sienna sat back down, and watched the dying fire. She looked down at her virtual feet. "So, I know we went through something like this before, earlier with my clothes and stuff..." She tucked some stray hairs behind her ears and peered up. "But do I freak you out? I mean if you don't want to talk about it that's fine, but it seems like you're always on your toes when I get near you." Sienna touched her damp clothes, wishing they were warm so she could wrap herself in them. But all she had was a thing cotton towel. "Wish I had my clothes back." She whispered with an irritated sigh.

Ryushi eased his muscles a bit. He watched the fire start to die down. He was about to throw another log in when she asked him if he was freaked out by her. He turned to look at her and shook his head swiftly. 'I really need to get myself under control. I'm probably acting like a huge freak right now.' He took a deep breath to stop the nervousness. "You don't freak me out. Not in the slightest. I guess I'm just like that. I've never been, well, this is a little embarrassing for me...I've never been, like, alone in a room with a girl before. And especially one without clothes and only a towel. I'm on my toes because I don't want to be rude or anything. It's kinda how I've lived for my whole life. I'm always worried about doing the wrong thing. And I felt looking at you when you are barely clothed is rude. I was trying to make you feel comfortable. And I was getting kind of nervous because..." His cheeks flushed again and he covered his face with his hands. He took a deep breath and chuckled. "Rambling again. Gotta stop that..." He shook his head and cracked a space in his fingers so he could look at the fire.

Sienna nodded, trying to sympathize with as to what Ryu-San was feeling. "I get it- I mean I don't necessarily hang out naked in my room with guys either, but it's better that it's a game rather than real life. But I get what you're saying in terms of being nervous... I mean, I am too. It feels like real life, and we get real life emotions so..." Sienna trailed off. She wasn't exactly sure where she was going with that, but she was hoping he understood whatever she meant. She looked over at his covered eyes and smiled. "Don't get so flustered," she took his right hand off his face and squeezed it. It was so real, yet so dreamlike. His hand felt soft, so she rubbed her thumb over his knuckles and fingers, feeling every realistic bump and crevasse. She quickly retracted her arm and returned it to her lap once she realised what she was doing. "Ah, s-sorry... I um, I don't know... Sorry." She flushed a bright pink and looked down at her lap, utterly embarrassed.

Ryushi looked down at his hand, then back up at Sienna. He flexed his hand, and didn't say anything for a few moments. Then, he smiled and chuckled. "It's okay. You don't have to be sorry." He noticed her pink cheeks. Was she getting as nervous as he was in this situation? Maybe. Without thinking, he quickly reached out and grabbed her hand in his. He blushed more, but he kept his hand there. Her hand was a little smaller than his, so it almost covered hers under his. He squeezed her hand, keeping his eyes on the fire. It was smaller than before, but still warm. He looked in the exact center of the fire, where it was somewhat blue. He quickly glanced at Sienna, then looked away. "S-sorry. If you want me to let go, I will..." Something tugged on his mind, bringing him to doubt of what he just did. 'What if I just freaked her out? What if I did the wrong thing by taking hold of her hand? Why do I worry so much?' He inwardly laughed at himself at the last question.

@Imrealk

Sienna felt a hand wrap around hers, and she looked over to her hand being held in Ryu-San's. She just stared at it, and felt him squeeze, a comforting feeling. She gave a small smile. "I don't mind. Your hands are warm... And big." Sienna took note of the smallness of her hand compared to Ryu-San's, and for the first rim she wasn't that Otaku geek girl that people made fun of. She was just a girl enjoying herself with-- with a boy. She looked over at him, his profile glowing from the fire's essence. He had, in fact, made his character pretty attractive. And if he looked basically like that in real life, well... "Hey, Ryu-San? I know we've known each other for only a little while, but..." She looked at the fire with her cheeks completely flushed to the point that her ears were red. "I think I like you..." She whispered, barely audible over the crackling and hissing of the fire. The wood settled, and some logs had broken apart and were charred. She squeezed his hand once more and tried to hide her face by looking away. She squeezed her towel for comfort, because she felt as if the next step was rejection, something she was all too familiar with.
