XJune put Day Breakers into his gaming system and put his VR helmet on his head and laid down in his bed. Once the device on his head turned on, he closed his eyes as he was taken to the loading screen. The game welcomed his mind with a colorful tunnel like effect with the game title big in the center. XJune was then taken to a character sheet where he filled out his player information. Once entered, he was put into the body of his character and dropped into a small village below.
He was falling towards a village below. XJune, now Kioshi, was starting to get worried that he'd just hit the ground. As names of game developers flew past him, everything went white and he found himself on the ground in the center of the village. The sun had just risen for the 8 hour day.
"Hm..." Kioshi started walking through NPC villagers when a tutorial showed up in front of him, he skipped it and continued walking. The was a pistol strapped to his leg, and sword on his back, and ears on his head. He laughed, "Yes!" He started to run into the village to explore his new game.

Welcome to Day Breakers the first Swedish/American virtual reality massive multiplayer online role play game brought to you by @thesparkerproject and the team of SparkerCreations industries. This game is a VRMMORPG that is much like it's predecessor Sword Art Online, the VRMMORPG. Thanks to greater security and newer technology, we can ensure you that you will not be trapped inside Day Breakers and will be able to log in and out at your choosing.
Now onto the game itself!
Day Breakers is the ultimate VRMMORPG experience. It combines most MMORPG games you may know today. Day Breakers is not set in a specific time period and is, instead, a combination of all time and space.
In Day Breakers, players, or "Day Breakers", have one common goal: to survive the night. The night and day cycle differ to that of any other game simply because the night cycle is twice as long as the day cycle. Day time lasts for about 8 hours while night lasts about 16 hours. The darkness of night brings out the inner most evil of the world around you. The only safe place to be would be in the only safe zone known as Arcadia (The starting town players first spawn into). However, the safe zone will only protect your from the NPC monsters, NOT from other players. PVP is active in all places of this game. You must fight to survive until daybreak. Once the light of the sun is first seen, the monsters of the night will vanish, this eliminates the threat of NPC related deaths, but not deaths caused by other players.
Much like in SAO, once another player attacks another, their icon that hovers above their head will turn orange. If a player kills another character, the icon will turn red and you will not be able to trade with that player for two full cycles of day and night. If a player kills another player in their home or in the safe area, they will be wanted. The player that kills someone who is wanted will receive a reward of 200,000 gold. In other words, PKPing in safe areas or houses is very frowned upon.
Day Breakers has six realms that are explained in the "Map(s)" section. Night and day will carry over into FOUR of the six realms. 2 realms will always be night. Meaning you cannot leave a realm to escape the night, the night will follow you.
Every realm has a transport area, players can use these areas to get from realm to realm without using their magic.
Players will first spawn will default weapons and default magic abilities.
All players will first spawn with:
Houses, vehicles such as jeeps or horse, and other weapons and food can be purchased in any realm or village of your choosing except Ondska and Vagg. For proof that you've read at least this far please enter the number 142 in the "Other" section of you character sign-up. In Day Breakers, guns are a last ditch effort type of weapon, your sword and other weapons will be the ones you go to first. Using guns is considered being cowardly and will lower your reputation in the villages.
When a player is killed, they are spawned back in the starting village of Arcadia or, if they own a home, they will spawn in their home.
Everyone will start at level 1. There is no level cap, so you could, technically, WORK your way up to level...say...12345 for example.
Welcome to Day Breakers! Please continue to the "Map(s)" and then the "Rules/Regulations" sections to continue!
The world of Day Breakers exists in Six realms, these realms are listed and described below...
Arcadia:
Acadia is the starting village that all players are spawned into when the game is first booted up. This is the only safe zone in Day Breakers, meaning NPC mobs cannot attack or kill you. However, other players will be able to. The village itself is the safe zone while the grasslands that surround the village are filled with flowers and trees where, at night, the monsters will come out and wonder the area looking for players to attack and kill. The monsters in Arcadia include skeletons and zombies mostly; the easier enemies fr the newer players.
Skog (Pronounced Sk-oo-g):
Skog is another area open to the player. Skog is a forest with trees that are hundreds of feet in the air. The bases of the trees are so thick, they grow and morph into each other. The villages that are in Skog are all suspended high above the bases of the trees. The enemies that wonder Skog are usually winged creatures referred to as Air Beasts. Vampires also wonder the area, tough it is rare to see one.
Snowfall:
Snowfall is a place that is constantly covered in snow and the temperature never changes from below freezing. Snowfall is a poorer realm, filled with cheap houses. However, it is an important part of Day Breakers. Snowfall holds precious metals that can be used to craft better weapons. The enemies guard these metal deposits and include Frost Brutes which resembles a massive apes made of ice crystals. It also includes ghosts. These ghosts cannot hurt you in their ghost forms, but they can control your body for short periods of time. Ghosts can also taunt your memories by taking the form of a decided loved one.
Torka:
Torka is a dry, sandy wasteland that plays the important role of being the access point to the dark world realm of Ondska. The realm of Torka holds the best traders but also holds enemies such as thieves, bounty hunters, stalkers which hide in shadows and attack with no warning.
Vagg (Pronounced Vague):
Vagg, also known as "The Gateway" is the one of the two realms that are constantly consumed in the darkness of night. This is used as the training grounds for higher level players, or the more foolish. Vagg holds every enemy in addition to the dragons, snakes, giant scorpions, and packs of wolves looking to tear you apart.
Ondska:
Ondska, or also know as the place of death, is where all of the monsters are created. It can only be accessed through the 'endless' desert of Torka. In Ondska, the monsters even attack other monsters. No player has survived more than 3 minuets in the main plaza (Shown above) in the dark world. Ondska holds all of the monsters much like Vagg, but they are all supercharged enemies. This is a place you do not want to wonder into regardless of what armor and weapons you have.
