He smelled her before he saw her. He looked up from her to the other woman. "I know you're there. Come on out. I can smell you. Not in an offensive way. I mean, it's not like you smell bad, but you Benandanti have s specific scent about you. If you know anything about first aid I could use your help." He took a sniff at the air. "And it smells like some St.Clouds are roaming the area too."

I'm not sure exactly when I lost consciousness. It must have been before the werewolf had completed his change because while I was out, I had visions of what might happen to when he finished changing back.

Rainy came out of hiding and looked at the boy "Not only am I a benandanti I'm a vampire to and I don't think we're meant to get along."

 

[CasualDragon]

He shuddered slightly. "Thought I could smell it. But right about now I'm going to put our differences aside so we can get out of here. The St.Clouds are comming and I don't know about you two but I worked hard enough to get away. I'm not going back. If you like it there then be my guest. I mean, therd must be loads of dead people to feed on." He picked the girl up and rose to his feet. "You coming with or no?"

Rainy sighed and shrugged "I suppose I don't have a choice." she said as she followed the boy

Unable to regain consciousness.

Among all the commotion a jet black raven alighted on a tree top. curiously watching the exchange. Ominously cawing in the background. As the group began to move away the raven followed. On silent wings flying between the trees. Staying high enough to not be noticed immediately, but not too far back to lose track of the small group. He followed and watched curiously.Curious about where they were headed. Wondering if all the fun was over.

Axil sniffed the air and twisted to the left and ran through the trees. "Keep up." He snapped. "We don't have all day." They came across a road and he stopped before crossing. "Careful, it's really open here." He glanced both ways before quickly dashing across. At the other side he hid himself and gently put the girl down. "We need to find away to get her awake. I can carry her for longer, but we can move faster if she's on her own two feet. Also we could use her fox form, it could help us know where they are. She can get closer than I can."

The raven alights on a nearby tree, watching. The birds outline blurs and begins to shift, soon instead of a large black raven, there's a slender man sitting on the branch with a rather bored look on his face. His back against the tree, one foot dangling in the wind, the other propped up to hold one of his arms. His eyes surveying the scene before him. His ears perked and searching for a sound, any sound to alert him of unwanted company. The snap of a far off twig gave him the slight sound he was looking for. "200 feet. Not much time" he say's in a low voice. Knowing that the "wolf boy" as he thought of them, could hear him as good as if he were shouting it. Still he didn't move. He just sat there watching, with a pensive look on his face

Quickly he picked up the girl again. "They're close." He didn't want to 'out' the other guy, he would come down if he wanted too, at the moment Axil didn't care. "We need to move. I know a place to go but it's a ways away." He glanced up quickly at the tree and gave a quick nod before heading off.

 

[Little Masky]

I wake up. "Ow..." Am I-Am I being carried? I asked myself in my head, keeping my eyes closed to get rid of the headache.

With a shrug the man's form blurs and he drops from the tree, changing back to a raven and taking flight. Following the small group, wondering where they were heading. All the while keeping tabs on the enclosing bunch. Their numbers were growing, and not just humans anymore. Faster, bigger forms had joined the humans. They were gaining on them, and gaining fast. He began to hang back, his form blurring and growing larger. Now the size of a large predator, his talons now the size of kitchen knives, his beak having grown a crude hook to it, he dived low to the trees. He allowed one of the pursuers to get close and he dived, snatching a large dark form in his talons and he flew up. In the night a cry pierced the sky and a sick ripping sound as his beak dug into flesh. A hard thump as a body hit the ground, followed by a smaller squish signaling the head came tumbling after. He pulled ahead to the group "Hurry it up. There's more of them" then he fell back again to wait for the next one

"Thanks, I'm trying." He grunted. He put on another burst of speed, trying to get ahead of their pursuers. A small town loomed ahead and Axil pushed himself to the limits. He skirted the town until he came to an old abandoned warehouse. "This is a rest point. I have food somewhere in here..." He put the girl down to search for the cans he had scattered. When he found some he quickly dropped them in his bag and slung it back over his shoulder. "Everyone ready to go?"

 

[Little Masky]

I opened my eyes when I felt myself be set down and had finally rid myself of my headache to see an unknown area. I tested my limbs. They seemed to be in working order so I stood up, shaking slightly. The werewolf came over after Rainy had time to explain to me what was going on. "I'm ready to go. And uh thanks for saving my life back there." I said to him.

Another screech pierces the night. followed by breaking branches and a thud. The man comes walking out of the dark tree line towards the group. Hands in his pockets, bored look on his face again. "Where exactly do you plan on running? And how exactly do you plan on losing the shifters and supes behind you?" He asks curiously finally reaching the group. He stands over the girl that was previously unconcious and smirks " Welcome back little one" He says almost in a condesending tone. He turns back to the other two "well?"

 

[CasualDragon]

"No problem. I hope that I wasn't the one to..." He gestured. "Do that." He turned to the guy. "There's a base about two states down. Refugees from the St.Clouds and the Edison Group can stay there safely. They have some members that cast cloaking spells on the place to hide it. They asked me to stay there a while ago, but I didn't think it would be safe for everyone there, so I left. It'll be about four or five days traveling time if we only stop for two hour rests here and there." He glanced around. "Anyone object to going there? Also, when we get close I'll give you a map of the area and how to get there, then I'll lead them away."

He shrugs and turns around his form blurring and shifting into a jet black raven again then taking flight. He alights on the rooftop of a shed and watches the group waiting for a decision to be made

"I really don't know why I followed you, but your plans the best we got so why not." Rainy said with a shrug "I'm not really used to hiding but this might be quite an adventure."

The raven turns his head to eye the girl and squawks. "This one is dangerous. This one could be fun" He thinks to himself

Rainy sighed in boredom and admired the diamond ring on her left hand "I almost forgot all about this....." She mumbled.

 

[Little Masky]

"I have no objections, I'm just going to go with the flow." I said with a shrug. "I'm used to street life anyway. I'm fine." I thought I caught a whiff of an adult supernatural nearby. "uh, I think they are getting closer."

 

[andujarprime]

Another loud squawk from the raven and he takes off jn the direction they just came from. "Get going" he says non chalantly as he flies past, growing larger by the second. Branches snap and another cry loosed into the sky followed by a loud thump as a body hit the floor and a chilling laugh enters the night sky

I'd travel faster alone but I kind of need allies right now so I can't just leave. I thought as heard the sound of more people coming closer about thirty or forty feet from us. "We seriously need to hurry." I said.

 

[Amaya Itami]

Rainy walked over to Axil and leaned close to him "You'd better know what you're doing Wolfy." She stood up straight and summoned her cross. "If it's speed we need I can get us their fast but it won't work unless we are all in agreement." I don't need theis people, why am I here.......

"If you can get us there faster I won't complain. But we'll have to do it fast before we're on the menu." The stress of the situation was getting to him and he rubbed the rippling muscle under his arm. "The place I have in mind is the safest place to go." He took a map out of the side of his bag and tossed it to the half vamp. "Here, part of the plan was to give this to you anyway."
