Suurrre" Reed teased her. "I didn't realize that you knew her. We only just met her a few hours ago. " He teased. "How much further is she?" He asks Riley. " I can't hear her anymore..."

I'm......not exactly sure... Somethings messing up my navigation and locating skills." Riley said slowly as she continued walking.

"Great, another problem to make this adventure that much more exiting." Rainy said with false enthusiasm.

Reed patted rainy on the head. "Don't worry, I know how much you love solving problems!!! Just try not to get caught" he teases as he walks ahead shifting into a huge wolf "let me try" he says sniffing the air. Then the ground. He looks up ahead a confused look on his face. "Something else, the smell is too strong for me to pick out anything but. It's like rotting corpse...."

 

[Amaya Itami]

Rainy laughed lightly as he patted her head. "They're no fun if they're dead." She said with a pout after his mention of dead corpses.

No. They don't taste so good if they're dead" He says with a frown following where the smell is coming from strongest

Outside the building, Brutus and the Arisen laid in wait as the female watcher scanned the entranceway for any sign of the expriments exiting from the nearby shrubbery using the rusty binoculars. Brutus was actually getting angtsy, which was not natural in the least for him.


Usually they would just go wild and do his work for him, the fact that they actually seemed to be going about with caution was no less than aggravating. Eh, a little peek wouldn't hurt.


At his suggestion, one of the hiding Arisen stood and handed her weapon, an old pitchfork, to another before walking over and entering the building on a search for more corpses.


Maybe if Brutus had cared enough, he would've taken the time to warn the simple minded creature to steer clear of any and all alarms or cameras. Alas, he hadn't, and so a gamble was suddenly played as the Arisen searched the halls.

Rainy looked around their surroundings. "I fear if we don't find Kaya quickly she'll die." She said worriedly. "If she dies who knows what happens next."

Your right." He sadly admitted. "Let's head out and hope we run into dympna on the way. I'm not liking this smell." He says shifting human again and going jn the direction of the facility entry

Rainy followed Reed to the entrance and she sensed an aura nearby, but she couldn't tell who it was. "There's someone around but it's strange.......I'm not sure who it is....." Rainy whispered. "I don't think it's dympna, but it might be.....can you sense it?" She asked him.

Reed shutters. "Yeah. That's definitely not the Xana...I'm getting a hideous feeling. I don't like it at all." He says as he begins to shift into a werepanther again

The searching Arisen wandered through the halls at a steady pace. At one point she came to a hall with a branching hallway. She walked to the branching hallway and turned her masked, rotting head to find a girl and a werepanther looking back at her.


She stared at them for a while before turning back to the hall she had been walking and continuing down it with a wet hiss. She stepped away from the branching hall, and right into the view of a security camera.

Outside, while Brutus and the other Arisen waited to start the clean-up, the necromancer raised his metal box encased head at the sound of alarms being raised in the facility. Brutus stood and stared at the side of the facility as it went on high alert, then gave a loud metallic moan as he shook his head in disapproval.

Rainy froze. "You saw that to right?" She said to Reed. "Because if that's what I think it was then we have a necromancer around."

Oh I saw that alright!!" He growls as he runs after it. "And we weren't the only ones!!!" He yells back as the alarm triggers. He catches the corps tearing it apart with a swipe of his claws and begins shifting into a huge stone gargoyle again. "We really need to leave now!!!!" He yells back jn their direction

In the middle of Brutus' head shake of dissapointment, the spotter Arisen pointed a roaming group of three guards. They immediately noticed that the scout had left open with smears all over it from her entrance. As Brutus watched the guards radio it in, he shook his head even harder before turning and heading back into the forest.


The Arisen watched their master wander off and glanced at each other before rushing to catch up with him.

Rainy flashed her fangs just in case and ran in the direction of Reed. "What about Kaya!" She yelled over the alarm.

I can't smell her here!!!!!!!! Riley!!!! Is she here??" He yelled back getting frustrated. He didn't really know kaya, but he didn't want to lose her, specially if they just lost dympna.

 

[CasualDragon]

Axil rubbed his head and angrily muttered curses. "I don't know what the hell they did but if I find them I'm going to stab then thirty eight times in the kidney." He tried to sniff out their missing companions but something was wrong. "Is this how you always smell?" He sniffed to the point where it sounded like he had bad sinus problems but he couldn't pick up the scents that he usually did. "I feel almost... blind without this." He faced his companions. "Welcome to the group Riley. Now I'm out of commission until this crap leaves my system." His head pounded and he winced at the pounding sensation of his feet. "How do you people live like this everyday." He grumbled. ((Thank you!))

(Subbing in for reject again!) Riley frowned. "Necromancers, always a pain in the neck." She paused. "I can lead you to Kaya but we might have to leave your Xana friend, here."

 

[Amaya Itami]

"Great! no problem with that, right Reed?" Rainy said with enthusiasm.

Axil shook his head. "I'm not leaving anyone here. Leave if you want, I'm not leaving her behind. Don't get me wrong I don't want to leave Kaya either, but we need to think of a better plan."


He firmly planted his feet. "I get that you may not like her but let's think this through. You want to sacrifice her because you don't like her? You guys go on, I'll wait for her outside."

Shifting human again he palmed his face "No, Rainy. It's not ok." He says with a nervous chuckle. "Axil please wait for her. I don't want anyone to die either. Kaya is in even more trouble. She's been in and out of consciousness. We need to get to her, and fast!" Serious now at the thought of danger." Riley, please"

He nodded. "I should be able to sniff you out soon. I'll wait for her and find you guys. Don't you dare let her die there. We've gone too far."


He stood aside slightly awkward. He hadn't ment to show so much emotion but he didn't want either of them to die, not today not ever.

Rainy sighed "Fine, We'll have to rescue both of them then."

"I'll lead you to Kaya but you need to keep up." Riley said looking from person to person.
