Weaknesses: Lacks agility and subtlety. Becomes enraged at the sight of either demons or anything having to deal with the gods, and may act unreasonably in these situations.

Personality: Vengeful, devoted, faithful, strong willed
Background: Garl of Thorolund was tasked with defending a maiden from the same province, a most sacred duty trusted to only the most worthy of clerics. Garl was shunned by the other clerics due to his unfavorable tactics of wielding a massive great hammer in two hands instead of using a mace and shield in order to defend his maiden. Because of this, Garl was forced to defend his maiden alone when they went on their pilgrimages. Eventually, Garl entered a fierce battle in the wilderness and was unable to defend his maiden. She was slaughtered, and he was forced to return to Thorolund for a proper burial. When he returned with her body, he was cast out of the order for his failure. Garl visited her grave almost obsessively, but even that was denied to him when he was banished from Thorolund. Garl learned to use the great hammer in one hand in order to use a shield in his other hand as a form of retribution as he traveled the forsaken lands of Lordran in order to fulfill the duty he was unable to perform as a cleric.

The quest he and his maiden was tasked with was to destroy the source of the demon scourge, an impossible task that they accepted anyways due to their unwavering faith in the gods. As they went deeper and deeper into the depths of the ruined and corrupted lands of Izalith, Garl's faith began to waver. The faith of his maiden never faltered, however, and they still traveled deeper and deeper into the depths of what seemed like hell. Garl and his maiden never made it to the source of the corruption that caused the poor denizens of Izalith to become twisted abominations. Garl slaughtered these demons until he eventually met with a force he was unable to defeat. He died, leaving his maiden to fend for herself. She was taken and sacrificed, or so he thought. When he resurrected, he could only find the tattered talisman that the maiden fondly carried with her. It was covered in blood, both that of the maiden and demons. Garl lost all faith in the gods after he tirelessly searched for her. He never found the maiden, and was forced to leave Izalith after countless deaths. Garl swore vengeance on the gods after he realized that the gods had left them long ago. The maiden's faith that Garl had revered was in vain.
Other Notes of Interest: Favors the use of a great hammer and medium shield when he fights. Wears heavy armor as well. Keeps a talisman soaked with blood from Thorolund on him at all times even though he doesn't use miracles.

PERSONALITY: Unlike other hexers, Isra does not seek power, wealth or vengeance. Instead, she simply sees the Age of Dark as a natural thing that has been delayed for too long. In manner, she is sly and lighthearted, seemingly undaunted by her grim surroundings.

BACKGROUND: Though her blindness marked her as a prime candidate for the duty of a Firekeeper, Isra found herself drawn to the Dark. Rather than harbor infinite humanity within herself, she used her talents to wield humanity as a tool and weapon. While her kingdom's high lord surrounded himself in protective charms against the Abyss, she willingly aided it. Eventually she was captured and executed for her heresy...only to rise again as undead. Thus, she was sent to the Asylum.

OTHER NOTES OF INTEREST:
Since hexes are fairly limited in Dark Souls 1, I may end up using some from 2 and 3 if that's alright.

He is known for carrying around a Claymore, but doesn't seem to specialize in the sword itself. He'd sooner be back-up using support miracles or striking done his foes with his lightning. When he does use his weapon, it relies on the power of his buff rather than brute strength alone. His talisman or choice is that of a noble origination, a refined wear from a refined Astoran family.

Personality:
Lex is often cursed with extreme optimism and nostalgia in his once prominent house in Astora. He believes as an undead, it is his given duty to prolong the age of fire and keep the shining sun over Lordran. While he was given orders, these have long since been obscured in his long life. His faith to the sun, however, has kept him from going hollow. As time has gone on, Lex has grown increasingly quiet and distant from reality. It is clear, without some form of distraction that he is on the verge from going hollow.

When in battle he begins to lighten up however and may find joy and treat it like an activity. To fellow undead he is often polite and regal seeming, speaking in a refined and educated accent.
Background:
Lex comes from a huge house in Astora. Somewhere down the line he was branded undead and was given duties by his family to venture to the undead asylum, but was quickly detoured. After dying several times he lost all sense of purpose and previous duty, assisting other travelers instead. These prior duties are sometimes given in unrecognizable world salads or obscure dreams but are never properly picked up by Lex.

"If thou art undead, thou art chosen." He can often be seen repeating at his lower points.

A maiden usually clad in armour, with long light blonde hair tied or braided up. She had very fair skin and dark blue eyes, indicating her actual origins.

PERSONALITY: Composed with some melanchony, Solveig knew to adapt and protect herself and take caution in this dangerous world. She welcome interactions and is usually helpful, but had to fight herself doubting almost everyone she met. She knew the dangerous in extreme, even in extreme faith. But in some way she had the passionity that all Carim has, that once she grew fond of someone she remain friendly and caring, but once she dislike someone it was hard to change her mind.

BACKGROUND: Although born in Carim, Solveig would not mention it willingly. She did not like Carim's environment that was dark, nor the religions and culture some followed. Afterall, the authorities there were worse than corrupted, and everyone had to protect themselves against everyone elses. It got to the point when she decided to leave and never return, ventured far from her birthplace. It was then she ditched her birth name and called herself Solveig. She was influenced by people she met along the way, the more obvious ones are travelers from Astora. She would speak of the sun knights fondly, as well as knights from Catarina.
There used to be someone in Carim who sworn to protect her, but he went hollow way faster than her. She kept an amulet that was made from his armour, and a dagger which she kept close but never use. It was since his passing that she trained herself more intensely in combat, but she was already good in stealth and can escape most danger.
After turning undead, it was her natural will to survive and the want to seek companion and place to belong that drove her. Perhaps it was in all people from Carim to seek a subject for passion, or she simply had been lonely for long. Beside the hollowing effects she suffered, she quite enjoy her life on the road.

Because she was a female in Carim, she did learn some healing miracles.

Serath is very lithe and slim, a definite amount of muscle on his body but it is fairly hidden underneath his clothing and armor. He has amethyst colored eyes and brown hair.

TALENT:
First and foremost, Serath is an assassin, and a very deadly one at that. He is quite skilled in the arts of stealth and killing, using a mix of sorcery and the blade to get the job done.

PREFERRED WEAPON:
Uses a modified version of the Bewitched Alonne Sword, which can cast sorceries and buff itself with magic.

STRENGTHS:
-Extremely agile
-Long range
-Good endurance
-Particularly perceptive of weakpoints


WEAKNESSES:
-Low durability
-Weak to Dark

PERSONALITY:
He is loud and bold, quite a sight when concerning his occupation. He isn't afraid to make a little noise when he wants to, even less afraid when it's to make a bit of a challenge. He lost the thrill of the hunt and the challenges behind it. Brave, determined, skilled, and bright, he's a perfect candidate as a Chosen Undead.

BACKGROUND:
He was hired as a mercenary in Vinheim, one of the fabled black magicians who manipulated sound to meet their ends. Though he did not wear their clothes, he most certainly was along their ranks in Vinheim. He was later expelled and banished for use of uncouth sorceries and for the assassination of the Headmaster at the school, as well as their learning of him being Undead. This meant very little to him; this was only a new opportunity.

So he traveled to Lordran, seeking new adventures and challenges. He was rather unprepared for the amount of monstrosities awaiting him, but nothing he couldn't adapt to. This was only the beginning. He's heard the prophecy, eventually finding himself in the Undead Asylum, waiting for the right time. What a dreary place!

OTHER NOTES OF INTEREST:
"Death is only half the story. Being Undead only means I can do my job twice as effectively, regardless of death... You will find your end at my blade."

NAME: Alexhei Rudend Osiris

TALENT: Agility. Alexhei was trained since a small child to become an elite royal bodyguard for the nobility of the Far East. Due to their valuing mobility over stability, Alexhei was professionally taught in various martial arts and of the ability to move in and move out quickly and lethally. His body is nearly elastic and is easily able to perform acrobatic stunts many could only dream of, such as a triple backflip.

PREFERRED WEAPON: The double-saber, a foot-long handle with three-foot blades extending in either direction, a weapon slightly taller than himself when stood upright.

STRENGTHS: Speed. Alexhei is quite fast and able to outrun most opponents. He is also perceptive, being able to distinguish appropriate pressure points even from far away. He can also be rather cunning, leading larger and tougher enemies into often fatal disadvantages that tend to spell their death.

WEAKNESSES: Alexhei is rapidly losing his sanity. Although all Undead aren't quite right in their minds, be it delusions of grandeur or straight murderous mania, Alexhei is halfway between a branded Undead and a Hollow. Although he is mostly coherent the majority of times, he frequently stoops into a lower-functioning recessive state, either ignoring his environment or retreating from anything that moves. This has had him killed multiple times. Aside from his few Silence spells and an ingenious Chameleon spell from some long-lost age, Alexhei is ignorant of all magics, whether it be soul magic, hexes, miracles or dark magic.

PERSONALITY: Before his descent into madness and transformation into a branded, Alexhei was a quiet and reserved man full of vigor, constantly keeping watch of surroundings and valuing caution above all else. He spoke little and instead focused upon any threats that might endanger the royalty that he so dearly protected. When he would initiate speech, it was usually short phrases and soft laughter, laughing more than he actually spoke. Many considered him a kind man despite his bloody occupation. Youth thought of him as wise and calculating yet daunting, wanting to ask him so many questions about the world and its workings yet too afraid to do so. Now, he is a scarce resemblance of what he once was. He oft prefers dead silence to chatter and when he does converse, it is usually to beleaguer both innocent children and hideous monsters with vile words of death wishes and cruelty. He laughs at his own muteness and many consider him nothing more than a madman.

BACKGROUND: Whilst Alexhei was in the Far East, he served as the Regal Auxiliary Guard of the King and Queen themselves of one of the more wealthier nations. Despite being literally born for the position and having no other occupation options, he enjoyed his work and took the wellbeing and safety of his patrons with extreme resolution. Without falter he protected the royal family mercilessly, slaughtering any dissidents who might think of treason without hesitation, despite his generally passive nature. He earned genuine respect among the military and fear among the civilians. Regardless of what who thought of him -- whether he be a hallowed knight, a merciless killer or an ignorant puppet, all knew that his blade was polished with the blood of any who might transgress upon his King and Queen.

When the curse hit, people thought it was just a regular plague. Although the Family was startled by the sudden onset of mortalities, they took little notice until their priests and chaplains warned of a "darkening of the flames of life", something sinister they said would spell the end of mankind. Without forewarning, dozens of thousands of the supposed 'dead' rose from their catatonic sleep, and slaughtered the civilian populace. The guard was sent in and disposed of the ghastly threat, but not without significant casualties. Soon, their fallen brethren rose as well as the foul-smelling cadavers lying at their feet, and them too were consumed by the Curse. The regional police was then called in and they too fell. The Eastern military was then called in and they, as well, fell. The Royal Cavalry was then called in, and although they held stalwart for an honorable while, their demise was ultimately met. At this point, the Regal Auxiliary Guard of the Royal Family was all that was left. A retreat was ordered, Alexhei and his fellow ninja decimated the undead population in their wake, cleaving them in two, beheading them, dismembering them, eviscerating them and whatever gorey statements you could make. The Kingdom for which Alexhei served unwaveringly was a river of blood, and half of the Auxiliary had fallen, but the King and Queen were saved. Or so they thought.

Masses of dead piled on the street and the Family's clothes were drenched in blood from both the living and the dead. As the princess hurriedly escaped, she just barely scraped her ankle on a jutting piece of broken rampart, slicing the most miniscule wound to pierce her skin and make contact with her bloodstream. But that was all it took. With her legs covered in blood anyways, the wound was never noticed, and said blood carried terrible diseases with it, such as the Flu. She complained of a fever, fainted and died the next day. The King and Queen were mortified and broken with grief. Alexhei tacitly suggested to behead her in hopes of preventing her turn, but the Family would have none of it. She became an Undead the next morning, taking her ceremonial dagger and slicing the throats of her relatives. Alexhei was forced to put her down and burned the family, the entire reason for his existence now extinguished and in burning cinders.

For a while he went on expeditions to slaughter the now growing epidemic of accursed undead, travelling with one of the warrior-priests in company of the Royal Family, and burning his kills with holy flames. He did this successfully for quite a while, years on end, until ultimately his party made their way across the seas and into the harbor of Lordran. The adventurers made their way to Anor Lodo, the accursed castle of the Lords themselves. Only he and two of his fellow party members remained, and when they found themselves in a hallowed hall with nothing but a giant gold-plated behemoth armed with a gigantuan hammer and a lion-headed warrior spouting lightning from his unusually long spear, they had met their end. Alexhei fought valiantly with all the vigor he could muster, but a giant and one of the Lord Gwyn's most skilled knights was an outcry of a challenge for one mortal. He was run through, his body fried with white lightning, and branded.

Since then, he has awaited in the Undead Asylum for an unknown amount of time, waiting for the moment when his final demise will come, nearly comatose, waiting.

OTHER NOTES OF INTEREST: Under his armor, Alexhei sports a network of white scars following the exact pattern of his nervous system. He also boasts a slight resistance to lightning.

Make him a bit shorter. 8ft 9inches would cause anybody pretty severe illnesses. Also, 100 what? Pounds? If so, amp it up because someone of average height (for a man, about 5'9, 5'10) weighing in at 100lbs would be severely malnourished. Unless that's what you're going for?

Elaborate on your talent. Adaptive to what? The ability to fit in with various people instantly? The ability to blend into your surroundings? Etc.. Also, you can only have one preferred weapon.

As for the background, try to stretch it out a bit, give more description. Why was he not very welcomed? Why would people start fights with him? What noble attacked him and what status did the noble have? Were they a baron, a duke, prince, princess, queen, king? Generally, explain why he was such an outcast.

Other than that, you're good. Just fix those things and you can hop in, if you'd like.
