What was taking that fool so long? It was a simple recon mission. Had he found something and not phoned it in?


He got out of the car and snuck in the direction his hunter had gone. Only to find him and the boat they were investigating missing.


He was on his phone in an instant. "Clara! I need some backup here, my hunter has gone missing. I think a boat we were watching took off with him on it but I don't know. I just nobody is picking up their phone right now. I'm in the old shipyard."

Clara sighed into the speaker of the phone and put her fingers to her temple. "Alright, on my way." She hung up the phone and got to her car, hearing the satisfying beep as she unlocked it and got in. She didn't have time to admire the amazing sound of purring it made, she sped off towards the shipyard. She slammed on her brakes and came to a screeching halt in front of the squire, smiling at him and turning her car off. She got out, "alight, how we gonna get the blind bat?"

"Careful careful! I'm not used to a reckless hunter who can drive!" Darius protested as he jumped back from the screeching vehicle. "For the blind fool....I'm pretty sure the ship's lights can be seen from here so we should head towards that. The moron is lucky we started this right at sundown and actually have time for a rescue. I can steer a ship so pick whichever one you like."

Clara's eyes shifted from the boats to the water with a distasteful look. "Yeah.. Water isn't my thing though.." She sighed, running her fingers through her bangs as she looked at him then back at the ships. "I pick that one! It looks safest and I won't have to deal with water."

Connor grunted as Sable waved the stomache around before saying "Didn't expect it to be so literal." Picking up his discarded revolver, he quickly reloads it and hands the magnum back to Sable. Looking at the man bleeding out on the ground, he figures he should adk a couple questions. "Our friend here might know some things about what we're looking for. "Sable, go get some gauss." He never realized it, but having a squire was beyond useful. Especially when they can fade in and out of existance with what he asked for. It would really suck when Greed took her back.

    Sable looked at Alpha tilting her head slightly, "That.... has got to be... the dumbest question i've been asked tonight. If I knew WHERE it was we wouldn't have got you guys to find it."


    She dropped the stomach and looked at Dead Eye with a raised brow. "Ew," She said simply, "meat that has had a human diet is disgusting." The girl turned her nose up at the boy and looked back at Connor.


    "It could be. I don't know." She shrugged, "It is an organ of an entity... and they don't really follow the laws of physics often."


    Sable rolled her eyes at Connor, "Letting the baddies live now? You guys are so weird." She faded away and back with a first aid kit. "Here." She said slapping Connor's stomach with it.

Connor took it in stride, he was getting used to the almost snarky way Sable completed his demands. "If he knows something, we can't really get him to tell us if he's dead." Taking some of the gaus out, he puts it on the worst of the bloody wounds, puts the man's hand over it and says "Press down as hard as you can." After that, he began to wrap more gaus around the entire body, making sure it was nice and tight. "Now what we're going to do, is go back to the bar and have Mama Lo take a look at him. She'll do a better job then me. Then we make him nice and comfortable before questioning him. Unless any of you have a better idea?"
 
"Oookay, that one it is! I'll drive as carefully as possible too to keep from getting you wet out there." Darius broke into the boat and shuffled around until he found the keys. "Hop in hunter! Lets go rescue the idiot before he gets in too much troubles. If you need any extra weapons get them from the car now before I lock it!"

"Remain calm, we'll be back to shore soon enough." Marius reassured the rest as he ushered them to a more comfortable spot on the ship and helped them get out of the bloody clothes. "Somebody is coming as soon as possible. Hopefully. Not quite sure how the reception is out here."

Clara looked at the car and dig through the weapons before pulling out a small pistol. "Don't really use these much but it'll have to do." She said, also taking a small knife and strapping it to her side before following the boy Ono the boat and clutches the side, making sure she doesn't move around much. "Let's get the blind fool." She chuckled nervously, not a fan on having water all around her.
 
Dead eye laugh at them as he stood up and walk outside for a while and dell his possession p the meat seller and to the hospital he then sell the tiger's bones in the scientist witch made him have 4000$. he then smile in satisfaction and walk back to the huners and listen to thir chat and follow the order of conor.
 
He rolled his eyes at her sassy response, in her defense she made a good point. Watching Connor patch up the injured man, he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes he took from the bar before he left. He put it to his mouth and lit it, inhaling the hot smoke and nicotine into his lungs. "Sounds like a plan. You go ahead, I'll catch up with you. I'm going to sweep the area one more time to see if anymore of those things are creeping around. Call me if anything happens." He turned on his heel and walked back through the crowd of people, heading out to the street. He had a hunch that there were more of these creatures around, and a little piece of him hoped he was right.

Rage X Alpha


Alpha's right arm would guide him through the city with subtlety. At the same time it would reverb Alpha's anxiety to fight back into him. Making Alpha more irritable and blood thirsty. The threads of Rage would rummage through what memories Alpha had of his enemies and play them back in his head. This would keep the fury and bloodlust fresh in the hunter. The arm had took Alpha to the Plaza parking lot lined with store franchises. His arm began to burn with fury.


Rage


Clenching it's massive fist, Rage was waiting. There was someone out there who had a large portion its body. This spelled opportunity. Maybe it could create an offspring of its own, but first he had to deny himself. Alpha arrived in the parking lot. Without hesitation Rage ripped off a "R" from the Rue21 building he was on top off then threw it at the hunter. The letter was was quickly followed by a savage magic arrow right behind it.

"Don't worry, you won't get wet at all with me drivin ya." Darius sped off in the direction of lights in the distance. "We'll take the direct approach with this one. It's noooot exactly easy ta sneak around in a boat if you know that I mean?" He chuckled as he let up on the throttle and got as close to the larger boat as he could get. "Hope this is close enough for you to get across safely hunter. the blind one should be on this ship. If not. We'll just bolt again."

As Alpha made his way through the city, he began to reminisce on some of his past great battles. Memories of everything came back to him almost at once, all the enemies he laid waste to for his King, all the Daimon he'd slain by order of Acheron, everything rushed to his mind. He became anxious for a battle, to feel the danger and the heat of combat, to see the blood of his enemies be spilled, it all made him feel... Alive. Before he knew it he was in the parking lot of what looked to be a shopping plaza. He scanned the area for any abnormalities, hoping his search had come to an end. Not too far away he spotted in incoming object, what seemed to be lettering from a sign. He smiled as he unsheathed his sword and easily used his combined strength to cut the letter in two. But he didn't expect what came next, a few feet from his face he spotted some object, he couldn't make out what it was but it was too late to evade it. It tore into the left side of his torso and leg, leaving a rather large gash and causing his knees to buckle underneath him. Catching himself with his sword, he looked up to see what was behind the attack. What he saw was something he didn't expect to see, an old foe, A beast rather, the same beast that took over his arm. He growled in anger and frustration seeing Rage again, and more so not seeing the second projectile coming. "You... I'll kill you!" He roared as he struggled to his feet. The pain slowly subsiding as the adrenaline and his healing began to kick in.

Clara nods and smiles at him. "Thanks. Ill be back soon. This shouldn't take long." She chuckled as she grabbed onto the bigger boat, looking down at the water before jumping to cling onto it, holding a rope. She took a deep breath as she started climbing, hopefully she didn't fall.

    "Are you eluding to torture?" The girl jumped up and down with excitment in her goth lolita dress. She grinned looking down with at the injured man showing her shark like teeth. "What are you waiting for, let's go GO GOO!" She faded out of the club.

Alpha glanced down to see the ground beneath him begin to glow. He quickly crouched down and jumped up towards Rage to meet him in the air. As he closed in on him he locked onto the beasts eyes with his own. His eyes were now shrunken down to small amber beads, corrupted by anger and hatred. All he could think about was destroying this thing. He clenched his sword with his now transformed arm, channeling some of his aura into the sword to deal a more devastating blow and focusing all his strength into this one attack to attempt to end this fast. He let out a roar as he swung the sword at the beast's side.

The glowing ground where Alpha once stood erupted from a pillar of magic just as the hunter lept at his 'prey'. Alpha's blade collided with Rage's claws. The aura that shrouded the blade seemed not to have an effect on the Demon Raimon. The corruption of malice and anger only seemed to make Rage larger, stronger. Daniel's body was shielded by a protection spell that prevented his hands from shattering from the pressure.


Clenching onto Alpha's blade Rage twisted its body to throw Alpha out the air with the momentum of his movements. "FRAGILE!" it shouted. It was referring to its current host. Thirteen Magical Spears appeared over Alpha's head and rained down on him.

"Come on come on. Calm down already! Help is on the way okay? We're going to be headed back to shore in a moment I've got some backup on the way." as soon as he mentioned it there was another aura on the boat, another hunter he assumed. "I'll be right back. I believe it's here already."

"I never said anything about torture." he said to her as he practically threw the man over his shoulder. "All I said was that we were taking him to the bar so we could have a chat. Whether he gets tortured or not is up to him." He would get that information one way or another. If Sable has to gnaw his limbs off with those teeth of hers, then so be it. But he wanted this job done for Old Man Greed as soon as humanly possible.
 



  • Sable had faded to the bar where Connor was going to bring their 'prisoner'. She explained the situation to them. Mama bear didn't seem to pleased with Sable's condescending tone. After sable prepared the basement for 'brutal' interrogation she changed her clothes. She changed from one frilly dress to another frilly dress with skull buttons. her colors were white and bright pink. She waited at the entrance of the basement waiting for Connor.

"I don't think so, I'm not driving some bloody boat back to the docks. I am not filling out the paperwork that has to do with hiding and cleaning that." The squire tried to shove the boat away from the strange guy's platforms. "Marius hurry it up! We don't want to be out here much longer y'know! We've got things to do!"


"I know! Have a little patience!" He shouted back at the squire. "Nice to see you again Clara, it's been a while hasn't it? I'm guessing crabby pants there called you in for back up or retrieval?"
