Four students from Onegai-High were awarded a trip to America. They had a great time. On their way back, the flight was directed toward Austrailia due to a massive storm in the Pacific before they crashed on an island as the only survivors of a 10 passenger plane. Survival is key, the island is small. Really small, but there's a much larger heavily jungled island just a 640 Ft (4 football fields or 192 Meters) away. Once they get there, who knows. (I do). Sadako adds a bit of challenge. She's blind. Not your run of the mill blind girl though. She can hear and feel much more than real-world blind people (like DareDevil but not that good). Shy and a bit needy she's always asking for help but is also a valued player in the game of survival, especially at night.

The last thing Youko remembered was plummeting towards the Earth in the decent sized traveling passenger plane. There had been many sounds, perhaps even screaming she recalled. As Youko opened her eyes. Youko was still strapped to her seat it seemed, thankfully she hadn't gone flying out of it or that could have proven to be rather fatal very easily..She was just in a daze somewhat not really expecting the silence she heard, just the sound of a gentle wave hitting against a shore of sorts. It was miraculous that she had come out seemingly unharmed...Though she couldn't help but notice the hole in the side of the plane which was facing towards the ground. Not to mention the fact the cockpit and front of the plane had been smashed against the ground putting it at an awkward slant...There was also luggage strewn across the interior to a degree. Youko would undo her strap and look around the plane. It would appear that some of the others weren't as lucky..as she saw someone she knew just simply thrown In the back of the plane..in a rather unfortunate position. She would gradually feel some tears come to her eyes at the sight, but alas she couldn't ponder on it, not when she had to see if anyone else had survived. Her mind went immediately to Sadako, surely she had made it..she just had to have made it. Youko would begin to scavenge the plane looking for anyone else who may have managed to stay in, surveying with her purpleish in nature eyes. for all she knew maybe some of the others had already gotten out of the plane.. However it seemed that the majority of people were missing from the plane entirely perhaps they had been thrown out mid flight? Youko was having some issues just processing the whole situation at the moment. She began to feel an almost inevitable sense of despair coming on in the back of her mind...she always had time to morn later though her classmates needed her help the most now. "I-Is Everyone alright?" She'd call out in a loud but uncertain voice.

If one were to gaze upon the crash site they would see the plane had crashed near the shore line, not submerged in the water but smashed against the shoreline. one wing was completely missing as debris was scattered around from the plane. However the hole which faced the ground at the slant could be viable for getting out of the plane when the time came. Some of the windows were shattered it appeared. It was a rather tragic site to behold, how the metallic flying bird of sorts had landed in such a way which caused so much destruction and even death..

This was supposed to have been a fun trip. Clem was on a vacation of sorts with three of his friends, and he had had a good time. You know, a whole new culture, whole new world kind of thing. He has certainly not foreseen the seatbelt lights flashing before there was a ripping noise and everything had gone black. Everything was starting to come back now, but there was an overpowering ringing in his head, and it pounded like his heart was right now.

In a clumsy movement, Clem brought a hand to his head before opening his eyes to a bright light. He blinked several times, a groan leaving his lips before his vision began to clear, and he could see himself tangled between airplane seats and clothes that had been thrown around from the luggage. Small cuts littered his body, but they were nothing next to the calamity Clem now found himself in. He struggled to bring his feet under him, but he was pinned behind several seats that had been ripped from the floor. He managed to get a foot between him and the seat in front of him, and he pushed against it with a pained grunt. Slowly, it shifted out of place so that Clem could squeeze out, his steps faltering and his hands shaking. Other than that, however, he had come out unscathed. His shoulder did hurt like hell, but that could easily be fixed later.

Where was everyone? His question was soon answered as he saw a body flung over the side of the torn-open plane, which was stranded on a beach. The sun was bright in the sky, but he couldn't tell what time it was, as his eyes were still too tired to look even remotely near it. Well, if he was alive, it meant someone else had to be as well, right? Clem began his search, trying to call out but realizing his throat was too sore to make a sound. He would need water, and soon. The sight of the seawater just yards away made him thirstier than ever, but he needed fresh water.

"Youko!" he finally managed to croak out, seeing the girl standing further down the plane. He was beginning to think he was alone, but seeing someone else, especially someone he knew, made him emotional. He clutched her into a hug before pulling himself away, his breath ragged. "Did you see anyone else? Oh, God..." His words faltered as he looked over the wrecked plane. "What about Sadako and Lara? Did you see them?"

Sadako's body rested on the beach shore, having washed up after falling out of the plane and passing out from the altitude drop. She was still connected to her seat which was the only thing keeping her afloat during her hours adrift before currents pushed her right onto the beach about 30 ft from the plane it'self. Waking with a slight headache, the girl tried to feel where she was. She could hear the ocean, a beach? That wasn't good. She couldn't see it, but she could tell the sun was burning on her retinas causing her to look away despite the pitch blackness. Continuing to figure out where she was, Sadako felt the seat beneath her and realized she was laying on her back on...Sand....SAND? Desperately trying to escape her buckled prison, Sadako quickly began searching for the buckle to get herself out.

After a few minutes of struggling, she was free. Shaking, she walked slowly toward the water, crouching and feeling it. Warm? A tropical beach? Where am I? Sadako's mind began to race at things started to click. Where are the others? She was terrified. New places where horrifying without someone to guide her and worst of all she didn't have her walking stick. Slowly. She began to shuffle her way, arms outstretched, in the opposite direction of everyone else. "Guys?.. Clem? Youko? ANYONE?" Crying at this point, the blind girl slowly moved farther from her friends, more scared than she had ever been and desperate for someone else to explain what's going on.

"HELP! PLEASE! ANYONE! I'M SO SCARED....PLEASE!"

"CLEM!" Youko exclaimed hugging him back rather tightly. It was quite clear that she was terribly happy to see him alive. She was simply relieved that someone she knew was still alive. "A-are you okay?!" She'd ask sincerely hoping that he hadn't been harmed from the crash. "I'm not sure..everything is just so disarray...in here..I haven't seen anyone else..we should keep looking..for more people.." she said with a pit of pain in her voice and in addition she was still recovering a bit as her heart rate slowed a bit down from the previous pounding which had been occuring. However what she hadn't been expecting was to hear a very familiar desperate voice of sorts from..outside the plane!? "C-lem..do you he-... Naturally it would make sense if not all of them were still inside of the plane but she had been expecting anyone who got thrown out like this to most likely be dead. She knew what she was hearing though and she was determined to get to the source as soon as possible.

Without even saying a word to Clem Youko made her way swiftly down the plane and through the hall to the hole, which she let her self out of, in a rather quick fashion, however on the way down she'd wince in a bit of pain, as her leg had been cut a bit on the jagged edges of the hole on the way down, in her rush to get to the voice. It had been a small drop, never the less as she hit the sand she'd try to quickly regain her composure before looking onwards towards the source. Sadoko....Youko would then simply make a dash for the blind one across the sand. "SADOKO!" She'd begin to close in rather quickly before halting abruptly before her, panting as she had sprinted, before embracing her in an extremely tight hug. At that Youko couldn't really hold it in, as a sense of overwhelming relief washed over her. "I-I thought you..were..." Tears streamed down Youko's face now as she just started crying. When she had seen Clem she was still quite in shock, however she had the idea in the back of her mind that Sadoko had probably passed away, she had been denying it since she woke up but only for the actual realization that she was alive..it was simply too much.

Clem was shaking from the emotion in his veins, adrenaline now pumping through him like a toxin. This was stuff that happened in movies, not to real people. He wasn't ready for this in the least, yet here he was. There was nothing to do but assess the situation and make the best of it. As he listened to Youko's voice, he noticed the trembling and stutters that came along with it. He wasn't surprised, and figured that his own voice sounded almost the same. Both were shaken up more than they ever thought they would be. Both he and the girl heard a familiar voice calling from outside the plane, and it was Youko who first sprang into action. She bounded through a hole in the side of the plane, and Clem assumed she was off to help Sadako.

"Lara? Lara, are you here?" Clem tried calling for his other friend, but could hear no response. He felt dread settle in the pit of his stomach, but he refused to give up hope just yet. She could be outside the plane like Sadako, or could very well be still trapped here. But Clem knew he needed to help Sadako and at least make sure she wasn't hurt, so he followed Youko outside, stumbling through the sand like it was mud. He could see his blind schoolmate being embraced by Youko, and relief flooded over him.

"Sadako! It's Clem. I'm alright!" he called, rushing over to put an arm around her shoulders and squeexing her tightly. A ripple of seawater washed over his sandaled feet, reminding him of their position. "I don't know where we are. Some kind of small island... But I'm not sure how small." Behind him, there was a thick jungle that seemed to stretch for a good distance, and there was no telling what kind of wildlife lived here. It would be safest to find shelter and gather what they could from the plane, although it still could have been hazardous to go near.

"We haven't seen Lara yet, but there are bodies in the plane." Clem's voice choked up, and he turned for a moment, tears stinging at his eyes. "Youko, Sadako, stay together. I need to go back inside and look more. She has to be there. But look around the beach, maybe she fell out like you, Sadako." Turning back to the plane, Clem entered it once more through the hole in the side. It was completely trashed, and in the cockpit he could see the limp, lifeless bodies of the pilots.

"Lara... Lara, if you can hear me, make a noise!"

Sadako heard someone. Youko? Still unnerved and not used to the sounds surrounding her, Sadako didn't even realize her friend was right in front her, crying mightly. Wailing in surprise and a sour joy, Sadako grabbed Youko into an intense hug, tight enough to be quite discomforting. It was crying just as hard and shaking twice as much. Before long Clem joined in. "Youko! Clem, I was so scared....I thought I was alone..." She said as her voice began to dry up in her throat as fear began to crush her slowly from the inside out. Clem shouted something over the sobbing and headed off, something he said gave her chills. "B-bodies? Youko...Please don't tell me there are bodies! Please..." She said even quieter and courser than before.

Taking a long while to compose herself Sadako grabbed tightly onto Youko's shirt almost still wimpering as the two began to head back to the plane crash site and Clem. "What happened? Where are we? What did Clem mean by bodies, please let there not be any bodies... I'm....Youko..."

Loki777 Loki777

Despite any discomfort which may be caused by said extreme hug, Youko didn't really mind she was just glad to be reunited with her friend. Her tears would die down a bit, as the hug was prolonged as she began to calm down a bit comforted just by Sadoko's presence, and contact. Youko would smile a bit now as she let the fact sink in that Sadoko hadn't perished like the majority of the ten. Though then she'd hear Sadako's body comments. Youko would simply say rather calmly still allowing Sadoko to hold on to her as she pleased, "N-not..every...one..well survived...but..It'll..be okay..we..have one another... we're still looking for survivors as well..there have to be more.." She stated attempting to maintain a calm and connectedness to her voice.

Youko continued towards the downed plane with Sadoko cautiously looking around as they went. "The..plane crashed....I think that we are on some kind of island..." She merely replied factually though it was clear behind her voice that she still wasn't entirely there. She wasn't going to lie to Sadoko as much as it may be hard to hear, she had to be honest. "Once we find everyone we can..get some stuff off of the plane..and head..somewhere away from the site.." Youko continued to state matter of factly. Youko had the eternal desire to panic somewhat but she wasn't entirely sure how to feel, still much in shock. TerrorKitty TerrorKitty boo. boo.

Clem was getting desperate. Not only could he find no trace of Lara, it seemed as though everyone else was dead or just gone, likely because they had been thrown out to sea long before the plane even made contact with the ground. He could only hope this wasn't the case with Lara. Nevertheless, he knew the more time he spent searching for her, he was wasting precious daylight. As much as he hated to say it, his companion could very well be dead. But Clem wasn't one to give up; with all the junk scattered around the plane, it wasn't hard to find a scrap of paper and something to write with.

Couldn't find you. Will camp close to shoreline. Start shouting when you find this, and we'll find you.
-Clem, Youko, and Sadako

Clem placed the note near the front of the ship where it could be hard to miss. He surrounded it with a circle of junk, hoping that it could help Lara find it, then began to sift through the plane again, this time searching for supplies. He grabbed a backpack from the ground, dumping out its contents, then began filling it with anything he thought useful. There was a fair amount of snacks, although nothing too filling, but he was able to find several water bottles. His big find, however, was the shiny pocketknife that had fallen behind a chair. He flicked it open, the blade reflecting back the sunlight like a ray of hope. With a grim smile, he tucked it in his pocket before grabbing the medical kits from the wall where it had hung. The contents were simple, but would be a lifesaver. There was some basic medicine, as well as bandages, a foil blanket and, best of all, two flares. These he carefully packaged back up and set back in the kit, which he took from the wall. Next, he made his way to the nose of the airplane, where the pilots had sat. He found two more water bottles, as well as another smaller medical kit.

Satisfied that he had combed the entirety of the plane, Clem slung the backpack over his shoulder and, holding the medical kits in his hands, leapt out of the plane and made his way back to Youko and Sadako. The girls were comforting each other, which was a good sign. At least there had been no major panic attacks as of yet.

"No Lara," he reported, his tone sorrowful. "I did find supplies, though. Some food, water, and two medical kits, all of which is in this backpack." Clem looked back toward the plane, not wanting to leave it. "I left a note for Lara, in case she... she's still out there." Swallowing a lump in his throat, Clem continued. "But we can't stay too near the plane. I don't know if it's leaking anything, but I'd rather not be caught in an explosion. We need to find a sheltered spot not too far from the beach, in case Lara is still there, and also so we can spot passing ships."

Pounding-…. Her head ached and her lungs screamed for air as she struggled to move, slowly her eyes opened to the blurry and quickly fading sight of the shattered plane in front of her, each though throbbed like a bring ember in her mind, and everything blurred in and out of black, a salty and almost metallic taste as left in her mouth, soemthing she wasn't unfamiliar with, blood. slowly reaching her fingertips of her left hand up in pain she touched the area and winced a little, a large gash was on her head, a metal luggage case open and dented on the floor beside her chair, her head slowly tilting before being brought back t the seat in front, her eyes were dazed and face pale, her muscles were working on compelte autopilot as she shoved the chair off her body weakly, straining to do so. Eventually the metal and leather leaned back seat moved from her body and she let out a gasp of air as the pressure was relieved from her chest.

Stumbling to her feet she had no idea what was going on, she could barely see and all she felt was pain, stumbling down the hall holding one side and limping as she supported herself she managed to escape through a hole, couching and stuttering still as she oopulled herself up weakly, a low and lifeless smirk feeling her lips, "b-better…. t-than….. some—….. some fights….. I-…. I've-….. 'ad….." she muttered, she stumbled onward for what felt like hours, but could've been seconds- maybe it was minuets?…. all she remembered was the sound of waves crashing in her ears as her eyes stared blankly at the blinding light of the sun before her body collapsed to the ground completely overwhelmed from all functions.

it wasn't till a good two hours or so later her body rose from the sand covering half of her face and her blurry vision returned to seeing singles instead of the prior copies, looking around she saw an endless outstretch of water on one side and a thick jungle on the other, the coastline wasn't too long so the island mustn't have been huge…. wait…. island? she was…. really….. stranded here?…. her body began moving in part fear and panting as one hand still clutched the long gash on her side to match that of her heads, blood soaking her shirt in the area a little and trickling dry down her face from where it had hardened, n the distance she heard yelling and her steps stopped briefly, she wasn't alone here, there were others…. but how many survived?…. how long would she be stuck here were they-…. er eyes trembled down to her stomach slowly as she let out a raspy breath, the cut was far above her stomach, practically her upper chest, a small sigh escaped he in relief…. but why?…. I mean- of course she wanted it to be but then-…. her eyes teared up a little before she shook the thoughts from her mind, it'd kick- it's kick soon and she'd know everything was fine.

Returning to the limping pace it wasn't long till she found herself outside the plane crash, her aqua blue hair loosely at her necks end in a sort of mostly straightened bob cut, eyes a hypnotic light shade, the colour clearly an artificial hair wise but her eyes seemed genuinely that shade. Her t-shir was bloodied and torn, her leggings accompanying them in the style thanks to the incident, she opened her mouth as though to speak and interrupt the group and although she stretched a hand out, she couldn't seem to find the words, "…." silence filled her mind as she let out once again a quiet hiss at the pain of her side and winced a little, the area up beach was much clearer, she'd almost tripped on half a wing turbine coming here that was buried in the sand, they should go that way, she should tell them to go that way, right? she had to stick with them, argh!? on an island with complete strangers and a-…. a…. her eyes dulled a little at the thought before brightening again with a small shimmer of hope, she could do this, right? she had to do this.

Sadako looked straight down, still shaking nervously before finding a safe place to sit with Youko's help. "I think I'll just...Sit here and stay out of everyone's way, you should go help Clem, I'll be fine on my own, I'm definitely not going anywhere. J-just come back every once and awhile, please. I just need to think, not like I know much about survival anyways, not very many survival books in brail..." She said dejectedly as she curled her head into her knees.

Youko was clearly rather crestfallen to hear what Clem had to say regarding not finding Lara. "I-I'm sure that she's around here somewhere...though are you sure that we shouldn't just keep looking just even if its only for a bit?.." Youko simply said. "I..I think I'll keep looking around..just for a bit I'll meet up with you later okay?.." She just responded to Clem.

Youko wasn't terribly comfortable with the idea of of leaving Sadoko alone at a time like this. "A-are you sure..Sadoko?.." She knew that Sadoko was serious though. Honestly Youko had a strong desire to stay with her and just try to relieve some of the trama from this as best as she could, but she supposed she should go and check out the rest of the area, near the crash. "A-Alright..Sadoko...just stay right here though okay?..." She merely responded. Youko would reluctantly begin to move on from the area, but not before giving Sadoko another tight sincere hug.

Without another word Youko would simply head back towards the crashsite/ seaside looking around the general area, calling out for anyone who may be there. She was hoping that someone would show up or at least hear her and signal back. Though Youko wasn't terribly confident that anyone had actually survived to begin with. It had been such a horrific crash really, they were just lucky the plane hadn't completely combusted..or they may very well have all perished. She had noted Clem's word about having to make a shelter and ideally soon but she really didn't want to stop looking. Though it seemed that Youko with her perception could see someone in the distance near the crash. "Hello!?" She'd call out to whoever was in the distance. Cosmos Cosmos

Clem nodded, brushing Sadako's shoulder before heading back to the site, leaving the heavy backpack and medical kits with the girl so that he could gather more. He had an idea that they could salvage parts of the plane to build a more sturdy shelter, but he wasn't sure he could fasten the large pieces together with just the roll of duct tape he had found earlier. Might need... two rolls.

But as the male started back with Youko, he spotted a figure in the distance, barely able to make out their features due to the bright seawater behind them. For a moment, as he picked up his pace, entering into a run, he thought it could be Lara. But no - The girl had bright blue hair. Definitely not Lara. He felt a twinge of guilt and his lack of joy, seeing as it was someone who had actually survived, but he couldn't help but feel his hope fall.

"Hey - Hey!" Clem rushed to the girl, remembering her as one of the other people on the plane. "Are you okay? Hurt anywhere? We have med kits, if you are." He looked over the girl, noting the bloody clothes she wore and the limp she walked with. He looped an arm under her shoulder, supporting her in case she felt weak. She certainly looked as if she did. He also thought that perhaps he should break out one of the water bottles and share it among them, seeing as that would keep everyone going, at least for a little while.

Renuku's vision was still blurred as she began to return in her stumble forwards, seeing as one of them noticed her she might as well stop actin so childish and sulking on the spot, at the hello she raised the arm not holding her side and waved back in a slightly exaggerated gesture in hopes of making it easier to see for them, that was until another began bounding down the beach before slowing in a somewhat disappointed fashion, she raised her left brow a little in a way saying, 'wrong person?….' in a somewhat sarcastic and teasing manner, or maybe her opinion was just overwhelmed by the pain and her thoughts being overzealous.

As the other finally caught up and helped her into an aided position she winced a little and looked away as though stubborn about the matter, she'd never really been the dependant type, and being forced into a situation where she had to be wasn't a fun position, "I'm-…. fine." she muttered under her breath a little, obviously lying as her bright blue fringe briefly covered her eyes before she looked up a little again as they neared, cocking a brow once again noticing the other in the distance, "Uh-…. aren't planes like supposed-…. ta-…. to explode?…. I-I mean…. in movies they do after a little while….." she tried to make the sentence seem laid back but the slurred and stuttered words from her injury wasn't exactly the best attempt in doing that.

It certainly was an odd group, a teenage soldier looking guy that looking like every guy in a movie that tries to hit on girls, someone who appeared totally lost and another with just as odd a hair colour as herself seeming to be having a panic attack-…. great team.

With a small sigh she shrugged it off and decided sterilising her wounds was the best course of action for now, trying to struggle free but two saw on the supported sigh to do so, seawater was all around them and as much as it would bloody sting like hell it was one heck of a disinfectant in this situation, and a saver of whatever type of meds they had in the kit for if they ever tried to enter well- that jungle thing beside them.
