Appearance: The picture is almost accurate. Hatoyama has straight, somewhat choppy/disheveled dark red/brown hair. Her bangs sweep to her right and usually get in her face, but she usually does nothing to stop them. She has dark hazel eyes and usually wears a pair of reading glasses. She's as thin as a twig for the most part and doesn't have much muscle to speak of past her legs, which are unusually fit. Ordinarily, she wears a navy blue long sleeved V-neck sweater with the emblem of her old high school on the upper right-hand corner (her left) with an unbuttoned dress shirt underneath. She also wears a blue plaid skirt that almost reaches her knees, leg warmers that are orange and pink (mostly so that she can try to grab attention with them), and standard Mary-Janes. She occasionally has colored Band-Aids and rings on so that she can remind herself to stop biting her fingernails (a really bad habit of hers).








Personality: Hatoyama is a reserved person and is generally bad at dealing with situations that she hasn't planned for in advance, including but not limited to most social situations. She doesn't speak much unless directly spoken to or unless she has something pressing to say because she feels as if she never has a place in anyone else's conversations. Because of her quiet nature, she has a tendency to show up without people noticing and be overlooked easily, something which simultaneously fills her with pride and a want for attention. When she gets to know a person, though, she's kind and overbearingly helpful and will do most anything for anyone if it would help them in some way--though that's not to say that she's gullible. She also claims to be an empath (meaning that she can paranormally obtain the emotions of someone else) because she'll always cry if she sees or hears someone else crying and will absorb the atmosphere of a room to match it, but the truth is that she cares a little too much about everything and everyone and wants to give it a cool name so she won't seem like a crybaby. She hates not knowing everything about everyone, however, and gets paranoid easily; this is why she often tries to seek out this information no matter what it takes. Usually, though, she'll just eavesdrop and mentally take note of whatever she finds out using her near-photographic memory and won't approach anyone directly to gather information. One of her most annoying traits, though, is her need to tie everything together somehow and look for connections that aren't really there, with most of these theories and claims based in the realm of parapsychology and bogus psychological theories that she makes up herself. She also really hates it when people try to tell her that parapsychology isn't a real science and she's been known to debate with people for hours over that fact.


Strengths: She's good at investigating, making inferences about people based on the research she's done about them (and occasionally predicting their movements), helping others, and sympathizing with the plights of others (it's extremely likely that she'd be the type to sympathize with a culprit if they had a fairly sound motive).


Weaknesses: She's not good at being wrong (if she's proven wrong on anything, she'll begin to berate herself), she can't interact well with people, she constantly doubts and suspects everything, she's sensitive (as mentioned above), and she has arachnophobia so crippling that she'll panic and go catatonic if one comes anywhere near one--she's especially afraid of cellar spiders in particular.

History: Hatoyama took interest in the paranormal and pseudoscience at a very young age starting after she apparently saw the ghost of her dead grandmother sitting at the foot of her bed in the dead of night. Ever since then, she set out on a mission to prove to everyone that she wasn't just hallucinating and that ghosts--along with paranormal phenomenon like ESP and premonition--really exist. All throughout her school career, she would often get herself into trouble for trespassing on private property in her search for cryptids and ghouls until she finally gained recognition due to a startling photo she took of what looks like a ghost in a graveyard nearby her house. This made her famous in the paranormal community, and her fame only rose when she released her many theories about reincarnation, telekinesis, and clairvoyance in the form of a book titled Legitimate Parapsychology which quickly became popular among believers and skeptics alike. Her investigative research managed to impress even those who doubted the legitimacy of parapsychology as a real science and she quickly became one of the most successful parapsychologists in the field. This worldwide recognition is what led to Hatoyama's acceptance into Kibougamine as the SHSL Parapsychologist.

Appearance: Miyake looks very similar to how he looks in this image with the slight difference that he doesn't come bundled with a dog and he usually wears his drum major uniform and a colorful scarf he was given by his band members when he was accepted to Kibougamine. Due to his experience in carrying heavy instruments and marching nearly constantly, he's fairly well built.

Personality: Miyake is very carefree and mostly content with just about everything to an almost disgusting degree sometimes and is an extrovert that gets along with most people. Though it takes him some work to buckle down and work hard, he excels in doing the things that pique his interest; playing music, conducting, and studying history. He doesn't talk especially much, but he's very capable at keeping up a conversation with anyone, even if he doesn't share any interests with them, and he wouldn't judge anyone no matter what. On the flipside of this, though, you have an entirely different Miyake; simultaneously, he's a person who constantly second-guesses himself and never gives himself enough credit, and though he may seem happy and optimistic on the outside, he feels very unhappy with himself on the inside and feels like he doesn't have all the qualities of a leader that he's always touted to have. He's also not very successful when it comes to love, as he often falls into it much too quickly and crashes when he learns that the person he's interested in doesn't like him back.


Strengths: He's good at talking to people, commanding attention, recognizing sounds/voices and playing by ear, sympathizing with other people, and he has a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of world history.


Weaknesses: He's indecisive, constantly doubts himself, trusts people far too easily, is too polite for his own good, and hates to fight with people even if he has a good reason to do so and, more often than not, will just give up rather than try (this also applies to most other difficult things he attempts). Along with all of this, he's extremely impulsive.








History: Miyake started learning how to play instruments starting from a young age, starting with the clarinet and moving from there. By the time he began junior high, he could play all of the woodwind instruments offered at his school, a few of the brass instruments, and excelled at sightreading; in addition to this, he was also the youngest member of the high school marching band. For a long time, everyone who knew him considered him to be a musical prodigy, so it was no wonder that he eventually became the drum major of his high school's band while still being in junior high. Though he still has great insecurities about himself, his band mates adore him and enjoy his style of leadership and conducting very much. His involvement with the marching band caused the band to swell in number and get better and better year by year until it was nationally recognized as one of the best in the country. This is ultimately what got Kibougamine's attention, and although his band members were sad to see him leave the band to attend the school as the SHSL Drum Major, they wished him the best of luck and gave him the colorful scarf he always wears so that he'll remember all of the different people in his band whenever he sees it.

Because he didn't want to hurt his mother and sister's feelings and didn't want them to miss him, he left for the school in secret. He has not been seen by his family since then, and has been reported as 'missing'.

History: Nao and his older brother Ayato were abused by their mother when they were just children. She forced them to dress as girls because she feared them becoming ugly when they grew up, but this only lead to more abuse. When Nao started growing up, his mother saw that he was becoming beautiful, prettier than her, and so the rage inside her built up until she couldn't hold back anymore.

His mother was a fucking crazy version of Elsa. "Beating my kids never bothered me anyway." Everyday she'd wait for Nao to come home from school to beat him with whatever she had in her hand, most of the times it was with her hands. Ayato worked around the time he came home, so he couldn't do anything to help Nao. When he heard about what happened, he immediately quit his job to stay home and stop his mother from hitting Nao. One day things got bloody, their mother was cooking when Nao came home and that was when Ayato pierced her throat with that knife. Unfortunately, their mother was related to some big time lawyer who sued Nao and his brother. Since then, Ayato became a hitman to pay off the money they owe, but one day a freak accident happened and he couldn't do his job anymore. Nao had to take over from there...


Now you know a part of the story of how Nao become known as the SHSL Marksman.

On the other hand, SHSL Actor, Charisma, Grandstander, and Hype Man all have unfitting connotations, so I went with Swagger.

• Very strong. His fights may have predetermined outcomes, but the muscles are real
  
• Good at pumping people up. Works better on crowds, but makes a great motivational speaker all the same
