Ludovica fell to her knees and tried to comfort Takeo, "Its all right! I didn't want you to die! This is good for s! You can see your sister! I don't hate you Takeo! Please believe me!"


That wasn't true of course. There was still a part of herself that was angry he had played her. But she couldn't let that get in the way-- not with Takeo like this! "Takeo please calm down, I promise everything is going to be fine! I'll do whatever it takes to prove I don't hate you!"

Takeo looked at Ayumi with pure horror on his face. 'No s-she can't I'm ready to die! I-I can't!' Takeo was in shock as he fell to his knees. "N-No...I can't live! I'm more than ready to die! You can't just let me live!" He exclaimed as he grabbed his head with both hands and began to shake. "E-Ever since I ki-killed them I haven't eaten I haven't slpet! I haven't hit my target! I can't live like this!" He exclaimed as tears fell down his cheeks. "Kill me....I'm ready to die! I want to die!" He said gripping his head tightly as he shook it. "Y-You all hate me! I hate me! My sister will hate me! I'm a monster and monsters should be slain!"

She ran towars him and hugged him too. "Don't say that! You're not a monster in our eyes! We care about you and we don't hate you for this! That's the truth! So please, stay with us and live!" She wailed as she hugged him tightly and rubbed his back.

Hibiki saw Takeo with the knife, he instinctively hopped over his podium and rand over, grabbing his wrist which held


the knife and leaping over his podium, talking him to the ground so he couldn't do anything to harm himself,


"Are you insane!? I understand your mental state... I know what it feels like to want to die but... You can't do this Takeo!"

"Takeo!" she grabbed the knife and tried to pull it away from him, "stop! Stop being an idiot! I don't want to see you like this! Please!" she yelled out, "Don't do this! Live! Live for me!"

"All of you, back the fuck away from Takeo! If Takeo-kun wants to die, then I have a great plan.


I'll let you all leave this school alive, or dead in Takeo's case, if you can beat me at this trial.


If you can't, every single one of you, except Hibiki can perish in punishment."


She addressed. "This trial will revolve around the mystery of the school, win...and I'll let you live. Fail, you'll all die.


Hibiki, you're going to have to chose a side, my love. I did this for you....they all hated you, voted you guilty. Takeo got more respect than you ever got from them. They're using you...but me, I love you."

Chiya looked at Ayumi with a glare as she gripped her fists. "You..monster!" She whispered to her and then looked at Hibiki. "Hibiki?" She said his name sadly.

Takeo eyes widen in shock he couldn't process what was going on everything was moving to fast. 'Did...did they stop me? Why? Whywhywhywhy!? I should die...I deseve it." Takeo looked around and shakily stood up. "....I don't desevrve to live...I don't........... But I wo-won't let you guys die...I...I can't..." He muttered as he glared a Ayumi. "Even though I may choose death..." He mumbled before looking at Hibiki. "What are you going to do? Don't fall into the same despair as me...I promise....you will regert it with your entire being." He said his eyes still very hallow, but...there was a small extremely small light.

"Takeo, as much as I want to beat the crap out of you right now, I cant just stand here and watch you die. You killed Akaiko, you lied to me after I trusted you and I want to slice you for that but I cant let you die. I don't... I don't want to be the one to tell your sister her big brother is gone because I know how much you want to see her again. I..... I wouldn't want to give you the burden of telling MY sister I was dead and watching her be upset... so why should you let your own sibling down?"

"Despair? I don't want you to give into despair Hibiki-kun, I want you to listen to your heart. Give into love.

She repeated those words once more. Ayumi's gaze caught Hibiki's, her eyes holding something dark but also showed some concern and love for the male.


"I caused all of this for you. I had to prove my love for you, Hibiki. Did I do well enough? Or did I fail you again?"


She asked him.


"They...they're using you. Remember the trial, they all condemned you after thinking you killed Masahiko and Akaiko. But when they discovered Takeo did it, they didn't even care. They're still fighting for his love, trying to say how they forgive him. But you, they voted you guilty with out even hearing you out! They didn't have a reason to vote for you!"

Takeo looked at Hibiki knowing what Ayumi said was true, how they are recating now, is completely unlike the last trial.... "Hibiki.... I know you F-ing hate my guts, but even so you wouldn't let me kill myself despite what I did. If you couldn't let me kill me, then could you be responsible for letting, Cutie, Chiya, Ren, and....I die?" He asked his voice calm as he looked at him.


"I don't think you could...not to mention...she is lying to you. You may or may not know this, but what you do know is during the last trial when you were convicted Ren helped...me...sorry about that...Ren helped me if anything he pushed for it far more then me. After you were sent to your execution thanks to Ludo knocking the daylights out of Ren,we found a chip. Once we removed this chip he completely changed...he was being controlled before...by the mastermind...by Ayumi! She used Ren to make everyone turn on you!" Takeo shouted before taking a deep breath and exhaling. "Does she really love you? Or did she make it like that so she could make us doubt each other and use the opportunity to become closer to you then before."

He had nothing to do with that trial other than malfunction...which wasn't my doing. I couldn't fake a love like this! Did you not hear my emotions during that trial? I did everything I could to stop them! I even had your execution fail so you could live. I nearly killed Oshiro and Ludovica for you because they caused this to you. Everything that has been done, is them, not me. And you know they aren't innocent...if they're so innocent, why did they vote you guilty with out a second doubt? And even so, Takeo still didn't explain everyone's fucking behavior. They all love him more than you, and you know it. They're choosing favorites, so you have the right do the same damn thing. Stop lying to yourself and just give into love already!" Ayumi fought back.

he had fallen in love with Ayumi... But he also swore to protect everyone...

Hibiki picked himself up,


"Why do I have to make this choice? It's not fair! Why can't everyone live!? Why do i have to decide!? Someone like me can't choose! This situation to too big for a normal person like me! I... I... I don't know!"
