"I never killed anyone! I didn't lie to any of you!"


Hibiki started to tear up also,


"Ludo... I didn't kill anyone! Know that! Please! You have to believe me!"


He cried, slamming his stand, he sobbed hard.


"No one trusts me... I'm not a killer... I'm not as special as anyone here either... My talent is bullshit... I'm a normal boy thrown here... I have bad luck... no one believes me... bad luck... Everyone is going to die... Bad Luck..."


Hibiki's eyes were covered by his hair and hoodie,


"All I am is despair and bad luck..."

Chiya started to tear up too at their words. She doesn't want to believe that he did this. She covered her face so that no one could see the guilt on her face. 'I'm so sorry Hibiki. I'm so sorry!' She thought in despair.

She looked at Ayumi shocked and let herself break down more than she already had, "YOU THINK I WANTED IT TO BE HIM?! YOU THINK I WANTED THE LAST PERSON I TRUSTED TO BE THE MURDERER? I DONT WANT THIS BUT I CANT LET AKAIKO'S DEATH BE IN VAIN! I CANT LET HIS SACRIFICE BE USELESS SO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP THINKING ABOUT YOURSELF!"

Oshiro had no idea what to do. As far as she could tell, Ren wasn't lying, or at least he believed so. It's so difficult to tell under his strange attitude, Hibiki's panic, people's slurs and shouting and crying, God, make it stop! In her distress, she acted on frustrated impulse, hitting the button to vote on Hibiki's part. The human brain can only really pay attention to one thing at a time, and if that builds her downfall, so be it.

It was almost funny to Monokuma on how fast everyone voted for Hibiki only with so little evidence. Except for a few, like Ayumi. It was no wonder she would stand up for the luckster.


"And the results areeee-"


Monokuma waited for all the votes to go in. He tilted his head at the results but shrugged. Hey why not?


"Hibiki~ My my, I never thought you'd actually kill. Better say bye to your girlfriend~ She's breaking down over there, Upupupu~!"

Hibiki looked up with a shocked face,

He flipped out,

She gasped in shock as she looked at Hibiki. She shook her head slowly as her eyes widened and her skin turned ghostly white. "No...Why?" She whispered in shock as she felt the tears again.

It was all the same now. All her feelings were being mixed together and forming into one bit pile of self hate. It was people told her all her life, right? So why didn't she just give up. Hibiki was going to be executed, so what? It wouldn't bring Akaiko back, or Shin, or Suki... it wouldn't change anything... and now...


She was truly al alone again. Because of all this-- Takeo probably hated her, Chiya did as well. She may as well lock herself in her room. Oshiro didn't say anything-- so surely, she hated Ludo too... right? "Why cant.... anything just go right for once?"

 

[Apollo]

This was wrong! This was all wrong! How could it be-! He would never kill his friends! Ayumi knew that as a fact, so why was Monokuma really saying Hibiki actually killed. She shook her head in shock.


"Y-You can't be the killer. This is wrong! Someone framed you...that has to be the case!"


She cried out, tears swarming her eyes. This was impossible. He was going to die now...

She covered her face as she started to cry. The true results truly hurted her feelings and also she couldn't believe why. "I'm so sorry. Ii'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." She said those words over and over, feeling the guilt and despair taking over her.

Takeo didn't know what to say. He stood there in shock, not understanding the situation. The entire time he kept a blank face, but thought out the trial he felt what was left of his heart, get torn shattered and stepped on like some piece of trash. He stopped feeling he......

Hibiki looked down and cried more, not able to handle the situation, he was going to... Die?


He talked through the tears,


"Ayumi... I love you..."


He admitted and smiled at her, tears running down his face.


"I... I can't stop this... You believe... I couldn't be happier that you know but... Monokuma is going to kill me either way... It... It can't end like this."


He kept crying,


"L-Ludo... I never lied to you... Maybe one day you'll see... You'll see the truth..."


He looked at Monokuma, determined with tears,


"So, This is what you want huh? You're a coward... A Liar, a fake... You know this shouldn't be happening... Well... Kill me!"

Monokuma was just loving these faces. Faces of shock, despair, fear, guilt, hatred, and even disbelief. All of them were a beautiful sight. He was so glad Hibiki was chosen, the despair this caused was amazing. Though a small frown became present on his face once hearing Hibiki's accusations.

"I'm no liar! I just...enjoy making things interesting! So shut the fuck up and accept your punishment! Upupupu~ which is commencing after this commercial break~"

He said with a wide smile.

Oshiro never felt so frustrated ever since she found herself here. Hell, she might have not felt so frustrated in her entire life. None of it made sense, everything contradicted itself. She couldn't even tell if Hibiki was in a state of denial or something worse was happening here. Was she losing her own ability? The own ability she has never told anyone else? At this point, she just looks suspicious. It was easier to avoid such things when more people were here, but now that it's down to the wire, everyone's getting hostile. Lies, so many lies. So many that she can't even tell anymore. She can't be a lie detector anymore; she now has to look for the truth.

 

[shattered]

"Okay, now that we're back from commercial break, let's begin!"

Monokuma smirked as chains dragged Hibiki out of the room.

When he opens his eyes he is in his room, confused he leaves, but as soon as he does seven four leaf covers shoot out aimed at his head, he doesn't notice them and instead bends down to tie his shoe making them miss.


He then heads out of the house and is greeted by a giant white cat monobeast. He runs across the road which causes the monobeast to get hit by a truck. He is out of breath nada panting when he hears and feels the ground shake.


He looks behind him and sees Monokuma driving half rabbit (just it's feet) and is chasing after him. He once again runs and turns into an alley. Panicked he jumps into a dumpster to hide.


Moments after he is in the dumpster a dump truck comes along and takes him. The next scene shows him being thrown into a trash pit..

Ludo stared ahead and hear Ren, "what... do you mean.. .he isn't dead?" Ludo's hand began to tremble and she took a few steps forward, "is he... still... alive?"

Chiya looked completely confused after the execution ended. She stared wide eyed. "W-What did just happened?" She asked completely confused.

 

[Peaceswore]

"Wh-Why was he chosen? He wasn't the bla-....why?" Takeo muttered as he fell to his knees in confusion. "Di-Did he survive? Pl-Please tell me he did."

 

[Apollo]

A horrible sickening feeling surfaced in Ayumi's gut as she watched what was going on. How could she let this happen? How could she let the man she loved so much die? And die innocently? No, this couldn't be. All of this was wrong. How could all of her friends do this? No, how could Hibiki's friends vote for him?


All of them were liars, all of them! She hated them all. Ludo, Ren, Chiya...Oshiro and Takeo. Every single one of them she hated. Ayumi wished they died. She wanted them to die. She wanted to hear their pitiful screams as their life was taken from their eyes.


But then again, as she watched the screen. A smile surfaced on her face. D-did he live? Did he avoid punishment? Of course he did! He was never guilty from the start.


"H-Hibiki..is alive?"
