Idea
The Pun Tyrant
"Eggs, bacon, milk, cheese, meat...yeah, that`s it, right?" I recited to myself, trying to memorize my shopping list. I drew it out of my pocket again to check. "Damm! Forgot the honey and coke again!"
I sighed as I walked into the mall at last. That was going nowhere.
"Eggs, bacon, milk, cheese, meat...uh...marmalade?" I repeated, removing the paper from my pocket once more. It gave the urge to punch the next thing I saw, but I held back from it. "Why I can`t I just get this in the back of my head?"
.....
"Will that be all?" ms. Robin, the cashier, inquired.
"Yeah, I think so. Why?" I replied with a bad feeing. "I forgot, the honey and the coke, didn`t I?"
Ms. Robin chuckled.
"Well, it`s not here. You always forget something." She commented. I simply sighed in response, and ran off to get to get what I missed. Thankfully, I was the only one on the line.
When I had fetched what I needed and paid, I decided it was time to head home. I passed through a few stores, always taking a peep at the exhibited part. I stopped to take a look at some ties and watches, to examine the recent books and even stopped near the toy shop, since my young cousin`s birthday was coming up soon. Still, I had no idea what she might want.
