[QUOTE="Archangel Galdrael]I thought Rookie was going to use the promise of riches from the ruins to hire Areos.
xD

She's not the best at trying to convince someone xD She's like. I want to hire you! No? Awkward farewell and move along. xD hence why she doesn't really like to talk. Even though she did

Those who just strolled into town find the ruins before the sisters who have been searching for a month or two?!?!
Okay, seems legit. :)
Now that you pointed that out. It seems rather foolish xD Apologies for that. I can change it if you'd like. It wouldn't be a problem :)

Eh, honestly it doesn't matter to me either, I suppose. Haha, I had assumed the elves would get there first, then assume the others were looters (Because they kind of are) And then DRAMA! but either way works, honestly haha.

It was fine xD

Oh, and the other application we got, I know he is a mage, and we have one more spot. But I'm skeptical, because an Arcane-Warrior is more like another close combat fighter, and we already have 4 out of 5 of us like that.

It would work better having another person from range in my opinion...

I have way too much of an opinion...

*Hides*

I agree, I was just about to bring this up- whoever else joins, or whatever character it is should be ranged for the last main.

Now, as we start making side characters or whatever, then we can have whatever makes sense for the situation at hand. Yes?

Yeah, we all have one main. Who has 'plot' armor, but multiple side characters, for whatever the situation demands.

If it helps I can change his weapon to an ironbark bow and a dagger
Sure, range is range. And as an arcane warrior you'd be using magic and archery.

(Though keep in mind your archery and magic would be mediocre at best, since your character would be using both)

Come to think of it... My character only has a single strength.

And a whole bunch of nasty negative traits.

From what I remember of Origins Arcane warriorsare able to use other weapons, but they don't get that weapon's skill tree. So at best he'd be able to channel magic into his arrows, but not use any arrow skills

This is based off inquisition, which is ENTIRELY different in its Arcane Warrior use...

But I totally support Origins AW over Inquisition's. Origins Arcane Warrior was the second best class... Good times.

Also in-game skills won't really be coming into this RP, as its far more realistic without. It'd be more your characters personal 'Skill' with something.

Not to mention who wants to RP and say "I shot a pinning shot at that guy! He is now stuck in the ground!"

More like: " Areos parried the cumbersome attack from the bandit, sliding the mans blade aside, before countering with a lethal stab to the gut"

Way more fun and realistic xD

I see your point. I like to think that he's not that skilled with the bow after only a year..also, second best? My friend it is the best class in origins

Nothing will ever beat being a walking pile of indestructible heavy plate armor, with shield wall. My good Sir.

I told Nightmare to 'Come at me bro'

It failed.

There's nothing like a mage in heavy plate armor that's swinging a greatsword and and is halfway in the fade. You can't beat that.

Moral of the story: Anything that makes you untouchable, is the best.

I'm actually going through everybody's strengths now... Because I'm completely bored.

Kaja - Stealth/Archery/Politician - Expert Archer?

Ariathari - Diplomatic/Smart/Persuasive/Stealthy- Beginner Rogue-Fighter?

Salaser - Politician/Warrior/Smart - Expert Fighter?

Areos - Warrior - Master Fighter?

'Rookie' - Warrior/Templar - Mediocre Fighter?

Timon - Determined/Mage - Expert Mage?

Emile - Sly/Kind/Arcane Warrior - Mediocre Mage/Archer?

This is simply my estimation of everybody's skill levels, based off of equipment/personality and history, and is based off the positive things alone.

I get quite obsessed with power levels. Here, is my second showing of this. xD

You should really add a strength or two to your character by the way. xD

You know, I have a running thing for underpowered characters, why stop now? ;p

But, either way I imagine she's a bit of a lore expert- especially in regards to elven history and whatnot. Not a combat skill, but a skill.

Also stealth. She's stealthy and... Persuasive? Or lock picking skills? Is that good enough for ya?!

Haha!
