Name: Kawameiyo, "The King of Kappa"

Distinguishing Features: Giant of a 'man' with a bulbous torso, thick limbs, and a dense neck. What hair he has on his head is tied up in a Chonmage, a top-knot. Demon identifying features include dark green skin (Which is both smooth and covered in mucous), webbed hands and feet with claws, sharp fangs within a chitinous beak, a turtle like shell on his back, and a hollow bowl-like depression on the top of his head that is constantly filled with water.

Blood Art: Kawameiyo's Blood Art revolves around water. Kawameiyo's features allows him to swim underwater with incredible speed and agility despite his bulk, but his body also contains an immense volume of water, a 'rivers worth' by his estimate. Kawameiyo can compress the water within himself to either increase his already immense physical speed and strength considerably, or eject it from his body in either firehose like blasts, or precise streams that have enough PSI to cut through steel, stone, and bone.

While Otoko is empowered by the presence of water, he is also crippled by the lack of it. He can get around this, for a time, so long as the hollow 'dish' on his head remains full of water. Should the water be removed, either by damaging the dish, pouring out the water, or drying up, Kawameiyo's power is reduced dramatically as his movement becomes clumsy and sluggish and his power is weakened.

Weapon(s): None, Kawameiyo uses a mixture of Sumo augmented by his Blood Demon Art to fight.

Backstory: Kawameiyo once hailed from a small town who venerated a spirit who lived in a nearby river. This river had been the villages life blood for generations and so they were glad to honor it. What was unusual, however, is that this spirit was widely believed to be a Kappa, and the village spent a great deal of money to open a Sumo Stable to entertain and honor it, as Kappa's loved Sumo. However, one day the river which had fed and nurtured this community had begun to dry up, its once bountiful harvest failing. Many feared they had angered the river spirit, and the town began to suffer. It is here that Kawameiyo arose, a young but strong man who quickly rose to the top of his Stable. Many victories were won, and Kawameiyo never knew defeat. With his strength and skill, Kawameiyo won a great deal of money to support the hungry families of his home, and he attributed every victory to the rivier spirit in the hopes of appeasing it. But for as indomitable as his spirit was, Kawameiyo's body was not.

It began to break down from his constant training and bouts, and every victory was harder and harder fought. His body couldn't handle his needs, and every year the river yielded less and less. Until one day, Kawameiyo met a dark spirit of considerable power. It offered him a choice; accept its blood and serve it for eternity, and in exchange the spirit would ensure his home would want for nothing as the spirit restored the river to its old glory. Desperate, the ever honorable Kawameiyo agreed. That spring, the river ran with such strength and power that one would never think it would ever dry up... so much so, in fact, that the river swept beyond its banks and washed the town away in the flood.

Little is known of Kawameiyo after this but some say that if one were to visit the part of the river where the town once stood one would find a Kappa of tremendous size and power there, diligently training its Sumo in a somber silence as it mourns its mistakes... honor bound to leave its home only when its demonic master summons him away to serve its twisted bidding...

Talents: Kawameiyo is an extraordinarily skilled Sumo wrestler and martial artist. He can swim with incredible speed and nimbleness.

Hobbies: Training in Sumo, meditating, honoring superstitions.

Other: Favorite food is cucumbers, even as a demon. He speaks, reads, and writes an old dialect of Japanese which comes across as fairly formal. He retains a superstitious and spiritual perspective of the world (much of his outside and modern knowledge is also... inaccurate). He has an elevated sense of honor, one which binds him to the bidding of another, but he shows respect to those to act and think honorably, just as much as he despises cowardly and subversive tactics.

  • Third Form: Clear Storm Wind Tree - The user unleashes a whirlwind of slashes around their body that can defend them from incoming attacks and slice up their surroundings.

Backstory: About four years ago Haruto came across a several decades old damaged note book belonging to a member of the demon slayer corps. He didn't think too much of it but decided to try the so called Total Concentration Breathing method anyway and was surprised to find out it really worked. Having gotten more invested he bought a wooden katana and began practicing the attacks mentioned in the note book. Unfortunately most of the technique descriptions had become unreadable but Haruto managed to pierce together how to perform the first three forms. Finally convinced that everything in the notebook was true and thus that demons were real Haruto spent all his money on a katana and on his 15th birthday. set out to learn all forms of Wind breathing.

Other: Haruto's katana isn't made from nichirin ore and in fact due to the damages of the notebook he is currently unaware of the ore's existence

    [Ref.] At first glance the sword that Xeraphas carries around appears to be just like any other ordinary weapon. However, at closer inspection of the weapon, near the hilt of the blade is the barrel of a gun and slightly further down is a trigger. When the blade is unsheathed, not only can the barrel be used as a semi-close ranged gun to end a clash with another swordsman, but when the weapon is sheathed it can also be used as a long ranged rifle due to the short barrel connecting to the sheathe which in turn is also a longer extension barrel as well. With the weapon being personally customized by himself, Xeraphas has learned how to use his Blood Art to load not only ordinary bullets into the weapon but has also allowed it to be loaded with his own blood bullets as well.
    DESCRIPTION

    Standing at a full height of six foot even and weighing around 188lbs, unlike many other demons who prefer to keep some form of menacing look to them to instill fear into humans prior to killing them, Xeraphas prefers to keep his form as humanoid as he possibly can so that he can instill a sense of secure and safety to those around him. While he is no saint, he normally can be seen dressed professionally in some form of suit or anything formal. Aside from the number of tattoos that liter his body and the left side of his face, the only distinguishing feature that would cause a raise in suspicion about him not being human would be his firey organge/red eyes and his fangs.

Blood demon art: transmutation. Much like her namesake, Circe,legendary sorceress of greek mythology, Circe can use her blood demon art to transform her victims into any animal,from a tiny mouse to a large elephant. She also use that blood demon art on herself to take various animal forms.
Weapon: Black magic spellbook. Her blood demon art also allows to cast spells that she can learn from the book. She has to have the book in hand to cast those spells.

Backstory: Hariett was born in the town of Salem,20 years prior to the witch trials. Her parents were killed and wrongly accused of witchcraft. She wanted revenge on the townspeople and joined a clan of demon witches led by the local demon king. She acepted the blood of the demon lord and became a demon witch,naming herself Circe,after the legendary greek sorceress.
With this newfound powers Circe terrorised the town of Salem along with her demon witch sisters,unitl the local chapter of the Demon Slayer Corps put an end to their reign of terror.

Circe managed to escape,as the townfolk captured the Demon slayers who were blamed for the attacks and trial for witchcraft,instead,executed and burned by the same people they swore to protect.

Satified with this turn of events,Circe led low for the next 227 years,opening a tavern and luring unsuspecting victims there..that is until she is summoned by her master to Japan.
