Realistic or Modern D-Day Unheard Stories (Intrest Check )

Harbinger

Three Thousand Club
It is a simple premise but with a fantasy twist on it. It will take place on the day of the invasion and some supernatural creatures have enlisted to help the side of their choosing. I still have to work out every thing else but I was just wondering if anybody would be interested. Either PM me or Reply here, both works.

Watching thread and kinda interested in the background. I'll keep ya updated

If you don't mind, I'll put a little something something for the background

If you know what Resistance is, or have played Resistance, it might be an interesting idea to put the Chimeras into this battle on the side of the Nazi's.

@Bardiel

No, it wouls be the invasion of d-day but revised with some fantasy characters fighting along side the american's or germans.

I thought you meant in a covert/subtle way, rather than overt fantasy inclusion. Good luck with it.

Perhaps if you changed history a bit?

What if Hitler came from the future or the Nazi's made a time machine, enabling the Nazi's to have technology beyond the Allies, and again, The Chimeras would be an interesting add

- Just more thoughts, ignore if needed

WWII featured many theatres of combat, around the world. If you are less interested in exploring anything geo-political, and more of the supernatural element, then consider the difference between having a pre-existing supernatural versus the emergence of one during the conflicts.

The former of this could be a few supernatural creatures, such as vampires or changelings or werewolves functioning subtly from either the command structures (a game of political intrigue) or on the front lines and attempting to conceal their nature (a game of adventure and/or espionage, in a spy vs. spy way).

The latter would the, as a prior poster suggestion, an overt change to the assumed setting; the emergence of a potent preternatural or supernatural force. An example of this (not my own) would be prior to Operation Overlord and the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, an alien race attacks, forcing all the human factions to work together if they are to survive. The best advantage the humans possessed was that the aliens had little or no contact with post-industrial civilisations. For instance, heavy artillery shells would pass through their shields, which were designed to deflect direct energy weapons. In this case, the drama could be from the internal stress of the human factions attempting to function together.
