Ah that's a shame! I was hoping to keep this as simple as possible, with the mechanics swinging in the general 3.5 direction.
 
Yeah, sorry. After playing 5e I really can't go back to the gravel chewing crunch of previous editions.
 
Guys I'm going to pop a real thread together for this game, which I'll link you to. This is definitely going to be focused more so writing than rolling. The only real 3.5 mechanics I'll be using is for the likes of skill checks and combat (but I expect both to be written in a creative way).

If you're tying for a Knowledge (Local) check... don't just say that. Maybe give a little bit of back story as to WHY you're character may have local knowledge of a certain area. I'm definitely going to reward people who impress me with character driven play.

JayTee JayTee if you're still up for gaming, I don't think you'll be too bogged down by anything on the number side of things. As I said - this is writing over rolling.

Food for thought, at any rate - but I'm gonna do one last plug once I get the Thread put together. Once 4 character sheets are in we can lock down and get to playing!
