PERSONALITY

Photine can be described easily as the stoic, silent individual. She keeps to herself in most cases, speaking only when necessary. Photine is one of those individuals who lets her actions speak louder than her words, showing her emotions through her performance in battle or her willingness to come to the assistance of others. This led to her community to idolize her in a way, heralding her as their knight in shining armor.

Photine, while initially enjoying her helpfulness to the community, eventually grew into it becoming another job; her emotional connection and happiness long since disconnected with her work as a paladin. Photine continues work due to her devotion to the core virtues she had adopted, and it was solely that. A job - a job that gives her some fame on the side.

Thus, Photine can seem rather aloof to most individuals. There's often a disconnect between her and her allies, she always seems rather disinterested or bored in some fashion. Only in true signs of danger is when she shows her true colors. Her soft yet firm vocal cadence seemingly drifts her away from being considered as "cold" however. The way Photine speaks and the pleasant tones seem to resonate with anyone she speaks with, generally leading to strangers to cut her some slack.

Despite Photine's seemingly disinterested mood towards most situations, she holds extreme focus where it counts. She may seem bored when taking jobs, though she takes them extremely seriously. She'd rather fling her life away than create a catastrophe for the sake of preserving her life. This evidently leads to a rather stubborn outlook as well. Photine holds the thinking that she is right, and she is right alone - often ignoring the advice of others, pushing it away as "inexperience".

There are times where Photine can get...heated however, especially in the face of defeat, though this side of her tends to be rare.
