D&D 3.5 Campaign

Even if Lolth pretends to be Good and that Corellon Latherian is Evil, who grants paladin spells? It's her word versus that of every god, Outsider, mortal, and cleric and a rap sheet aeons long.

I'm really hoping something's been lost in translation here, so I'll ask flat-out. Are you seriously arguing that ultra-spider-elf-Hitler-satan is good and oppressed, or is this a "my character is part of a wacky cult" thing?

Because as it stands it sounds like you're saying:

>Corellon is an irredeemable monster for killing his archer in a manner similar to Olympic myths

>Lolth is TOTALLY FINE even though she horribly mutates THOUSANDS of her own worshipers every day and orders the genocide or enslavement of all non-Drow

This is a "My character started a wacky cult cause her father was in a LE CL wacky cult, and she wants to be good in-spite of her up bringing". A cult-seption if you will.

That's actually kind of a relief. There's been someone at the local games store arguing about why Lolth is actually Lawful Good because she's female and thus is incapable of evil. And that's why he can play a lawful good paladin of Lolth.

Though if I was going to go with a Drow trying to piss off mom and dad via Goodness, I'd go with Moradin, god of Dorfiness. That'd really stick it to 'em.

That or the existing Chaotic Good Drow Goddess, Eilistraee.

Would, but last cleric I had was of Eilistraee. Don't want to repeat that too quickly, as I might draw too much on that character making this one.
I would like to run a d&d 3.5 campaign, I would like 4-5 players.
It takes place in a land called Evora, where there are the gods, and there are the prophets, the prophets are what happens, when a god sheds it's immortality and goes on to live human lives. But because they are deities, they go on to be reincarnated. Retaining approximately half of their memories, therefore attaining the title of prophet.

The pantheon is the same as the typical d&d pantheon.

I would prefer it if everyone started non-evil.

All things in the core rulebooks are allowed, anything from the expansions please ask.

If you have any questions about the world I will be happy to answer.

There is a homebrew Race that exists in this world and I will allow players to use it if they wish.

I will start the Roleplay when we have enough players, I would like to be able to convene at least once a week, or every two weeks on saturdays for a couple of hours, but I understand if that isn't possible.
Would like to join your campaign

I would be interested, we already have spell caster insanity so I think I would like to play a martial class, I've always wanted to attempt to make not suck (spell thief)

And spell resistance for a feat, is a bit much.

then again, if there so opposed to casting spells they have no magic gear. (which takes spell casting)

So the wizards should of wiped them out in a few minutes, (at most)

So the whole subrace, feels a bit forced.

Please read when the post was made before you ask to join.

This was made last year folks.
