Instead of frowning or showing any signs of displeasure, a smile broke across Delilah's face at his words, as if they were a compliment and not an insult to their gang. "Thank you then, for being so honest. I must say that all the gangs have grown careless these few months... Well then, looks like we have some "groonies" to discipline, wouldn't you say so, Dr Jekyl?"

"I guess a little scare won't hurt." She said, with an almost dark tone in her voice, "but leave the rest of it to us. We wouldn't want you to get your hands dirty just for a little disciplining. After all you've done for us." Her words were almost boosting his ego, as if to get on his good side.

Weigl's eyes opened up and stared into the darkness,Weigl started hearing the people who mocked him The people who laughed and whispered behind his The people who ignored him when he was out asking for money.

"No!Stop!"Weigl said as he covered his ears with his hands which were shaking,Weigl looked at Ginti and growled at him in anger "Why are you doing this?!Stop!Right Now!"Weigl started feeling despair again and his eyes were slowly turning into a reddish color

"Are you afraid, woman?" Michael went closer towards her before pausing in his tracks.

"So you have now realised it strange of him to give you such a necklace? You know, it is quite foolish of you to go about sniffing for demons using such a thing. Is it that you are much desperate for the growth of your own company? Why.....humans are truly something.." Michael smiled sweetly at the woman; a sickly sweet smile.

"You mentioned his 'death'. Humans should have no part with our dealings, but you have quite the knowlege. Well, I must say that I was the one who initiated it. He simply broke the rules of the underworld." Michael maintained his smile, observing every reaction carefully. An individual who fears is what entices him the most.

Humans especially...

"Yet again I ask, are you afraid, woman? Do you know what your purpose was? Apparently, your knowlege is still limited about demons. Your purpose was suppose to be a simple sacrifice. However, it seemed that the body he had occupied held many emotions; mixed feelings and strong temptations. Eventually...." Michael paused, placing a single finger a little below his lips.."the plan had failed when he fell In love with you. It was safe to love, but forbidden to marry a human. Though, I had never visioned him capable to love."




Watching her ever so closely, he then placed a hand across his chest.

"What if I should fullfill the duty he failed to do years ago...?"

The demon made his way toward suzy , pausing the distance between them had minimized .


Noticing this suzy stepped back hitting the desk in the processes , realizing this she slowly stepped to the side


in a very dreaded motion as to not make the demon notice her moving .


" I-I. . . I-I . . .I "


the words would not come out of suzy mouth she kept stuttering


on the verge of tears she looked down , making sure he can't see her expression then again he's a demon .


Looking up into his crimson eyes , she had still been moving to the side ,


" I am - afr- . . . I'm not afraid of you , W-why would I be ."


Suzy bit her lip noticing that she had stuttered through out her sentence and had almost said she was afraid .


The demon smiled it was a sweet smile yet sickly and sinister ,


" I wasn't sniffing for demons o- Ok so may be i had been but FAXION and my s- . . .


FAXION is the only thing I have left that is a memory of my husband . I'll do anything to keep that company standing . "


At Michael's words , suzy tightens her fist


" I have no say , Why ? did -just because I'm weak in your eyes and in other demons .


whats so different about demons and humans we both have hands , eyes , legs , our senses .


We both like and hate we are both foolish and ignorant . . . "


Suzy took a step towards the demon and pointed to his features as she ha been saying them ,


she then gently to his cold hand and put it in front of is face


" We both have five fingers , 1 , 2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ."


letting go of his hand she tilted her head


" What is so different ? That you are much more powerful than me so what ? My body guard is , a lion is , my husband was


our landlord is stronger than me . What makes you so different ? Why are you so high and mighty ? Why can't I marry a demon


what wrong with that ? I loved him . . . does love even matter to demons? . . . to you? "


suzy sighed fixing her hair , at the demons question once again


looking down and then back up into his eyes


" Yes I truly am afraid , I'm afraid you will snap my body into two , or kill me her and now .


But so what ? I'm afraid of spiders , rats , snakes , clowns , I'm afraid of the dark . . . and dogs . Yup dogs are the worst . "


giggling at her last remark she caught her self lifting her hand and placing it onto her mouth.


Hearing the word 'purpose ' utter out of his mouth , and the sentence that had made her shiver with not only anger but sadness


" So I was being used . . . at first . But that shows that demons are cable of emotions . right ? My husband was cable of something wonderful ,


love is something everyone possess , even you . Deny it all you want but everyone is cable of love ."


Suzy was silent at the demons next words her eyes wide open ,

she seemed confused ,


' what had he meant by that finish what ? '


" F-finish what ? What are you implying ? "

Ginti was unsure of what Weigl was referring to, what could possibly be wrong with where they were now? This was how he got around so quickly. He could create miniature portals, no bigger than ant holes all over a city as quickly as he wanted and then select a place to go to based on the conversation ,situation or environment. It wasn't hard it was simple magic from where he was from yet what was Weigl's deal? Were the voices a nuisance to him? If they were perhaps he should have rethought inviting the boy to his own means of transportation.


"I'm confused sir, stop what?" Ginti called over the thousands of voices. "What could you possibly be hearing that I cannot?"

"You should be..." Michaels' sickly smile widened, noting every reaction. However, as she spoke concerning emotions, he watched as she came closer towards him, held his cold hands and continued to explain her thoughts. Deciding to allow her to freely speak and express, he remained silent.

This human....she truly had a slight heart. Suppressing her fears. What good would it bring? In the end, this woman is just a human. Michael listened tentatively as she repeated the words, 'What is so different..'

He then decided to break his silence.

"Demons are truly capable to love. There's no denying in that. However, this can only be done when a demon is in a human form. A human form partially suppresses their demon traits. It is entirely up to that demon if he or she chooses to 'give in' to it's human urges." Michael then placed a hand across his chest once more.

Noting the sudden change of demeanor and the fear in her eyes, he stepped closer towards her, dark eyes now glowing slightly crimson.

"Finish the task he was sent to fulfill. To kill you that is. Make you a human sacrifice...?" Michael stretched his free hand towards her, placing it on her left shoulder, before holding in a tight unbearable grip. His teeth slowly began to protrude as fangs and his nails began to take a different shape.

"What will you do now...? Are you only capable of begging for your pitiful life...? Human....?" The Pentagram began to glow behind his thick white glove, as it drew another Pentagram below their feet.

"This is the ritual circle. The start of this sacifice. Now, look above you.." A large red and black sword hung readily above the womans' head, as if waiting for its signal...

"What will you do, woman...?"

" If I die , what about my child ? The half bread , the one who I have spent years hiding , stowing away from Lucifer .


I can't just leave him . . . "


Grasping the demons chest , holding tight onto the black material ,


" Aren't you spouse to be a demon , I'm pregnant with another demon . can't you hear his heart beat ?


What can I do ? I will do anything . "


shaking her shoulder to get out of his grip


" Are you so heartless as to let these children live on their own , they won't make it before the council takes a hold of them . "


Standing there in silence she looked up at the sword her grip on his clothing tightened


" I'm scared of death . "


looking bak at the demon she said this with a voice of pity towards the demon


" I'm not scared of you but death , I'm scared of dying , yet all I can do is beg , so I beg you don't kill me ,


to you I am nothing I understand To you i am a worthless human to you I am disgusting , selfish , foolish .


But to my child I am a hero , a mother an angel , a god , I am gentle kind, wise an pure .


And I know to my husband I am - I was Everything to him just as he was .


Your thinking that I have given away my pride for begging you ,


your wrong my pride is higher than ever . So you ask me what can I do ? I can do nothing but i will do anything to not die . "


The tears were still falling from her now swollen eyes .

Michael listened as she began to plead, tears streaming from her eyes. He stood still, eyes glued on the human before him. He knew she had a half breed developing within her womb. He listened to her, sensing all her fears. It was most fulfilling. Fear was almost as fulfilling as when feasting on the blood of a human. He contemplated. It would have been the perfect opportunity to sacrifice her and make use of her blood. Bearing a child would most certainly stir her blood sweet.

Watching as she held grip of his dark garment, he leaned his head to the side. He then realised something important. She was not afraid of him....it was fear of death which was most interesting. A genuine smile replaced his sickly smile, as the formation of the Pentagram below them began to dissipate, and the sword vanished from above.

"Indeed, you are most interesting. You do not fear me, but you do fear death. I do not see this often." Michael's eyes then reverted to his standard dark red, eyes still remained on the human.

"I should have killed you to knowing a little too much about our dealings in the underworld, and the fact that you were a human sacrifice. However, you are no longer needed. His death was sufficient." Michael placed a finger beneath his chin.

"I have to warn you. That necklace may help you in terms of a demon approaching you harmfully. But, if used for the wrong reason, then your life may be cut short. I cannot guarantee that it will do you much good. You are indeed lucky."

Looking up to check if that sword was still there she let go of the demons shirt ,


Rolling her eyes and ignoring his comment of ' did not see this often ' she smiled


Bowing her head slightly .


" Thank you very much , In my eyes you are truly merciful . "


It irritated her they way he had said ' she was no longer needed ' and the way he talked about her deceased husband


" Please do not speak of his death in such a way he is dead , by the way I was spoused to be a sacrifice , for what ? "


there were so many women so why her , why were they trying to kill her out of all people on the planet.


Smiling as she said this


"I'm glad that I'm lucky I guess , so - are you willing to help me ? it is the reason I why I came here after all,


as I said before I will do anything you ask , just keep my company standing . . . "


There was something else that has been on her mind , even though she didn't want to say it , it wasn't for her ,


"Also keep Lucifer and the demon council away from me and my children . . and don't tell them about my offsprings . "


here head slowly went down ward not wanting to meet the piercing eyes of the demon.

Listening silently, Alfons was very grateful for Delilah. Her negotiation skills have rescued him yet again. It seems that he was not as good a manipulation than he previously thought he was. Alfons made a mental note to work on it.


His eyes drifted up to his second, silently asking for her thoughts on the matter.

Her eyes left Dr Jekyl and met Alfons's, watching him for a few seconds as she read the silent question he had in his mind. She gave a barely noticeable nod, holding his gaze for a few more seconds before looking back at Dr Jekyl.


She didn't know what to expect if they were going to accept this man's proposal, especially since she didn't know what they were potentially dealing with. But if they succeeded, there was quite a benefit for Hexlair. Whether they would take this offer though, was up to Alfons. His request for her opinion though... Made her rather happy.


"Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about this... Misery?" She asked after a pause of silence.

Michael made his way towards his chair before snapping his fingers removing the seal from the door. Clasping his hands beneath his chin, he stared intently at her.

"Well, any woman was sufficient, but he had supposedly taken a liking to you...then fell for you instead of fulfilling his duty." Michael replied smoothly. He then protrude his tongue slightly, smothering his lips gently with his saliva.




"Each year, Lucifer seeks a sacrifice..Your husband was in charge of seeking and executing the ritual. He did countless sacrifices mercilessly. He did it to the best of his ability. Do not think for one second that we are merciful. His human form just happened to have failed him when he was attempting to make you, a sacrifice." Michael stated smoothly.

"Now, you need your business to grow exponentially. That I can help with. But, I cannot help you concerning other demons and Lucifer. I have left the underworld on my own for my own reasons. In fact, I will not protect you. Sparing your life is the most i will do. I cannot prevent Lucifer from sending his legions after you, though I highly doubt he will."

"If you need my help concerning your company, you will have to do me a great favour. That requires your soul, of course." A sweet smile escaped his lips, pressing his elbows against his desk.

At Delilah's nod, Alfons felt more comfortable in the transaction. Of course, he was still going to be cautious but not so much so. If she found reason to believe Jekyl, then there was reason to believe him. Alfons showed no signs of what he was thinking and instead glanced at his computer resting on the corner of the desk thoughtfully.

she said this with the sweetest voice imaginable waiting in silence she began speaking once again but this time her voice was cold


"I'm going to kill you , haha very fun , goodbye . "


Shutting the phone she sighed looking up at the demon


" If its my soul you want i'll gladly give it to you."

"Interesting..." She murmured, her lips widening into an amused smile," Well then, Dr Jekyl, if that is all you have to say to us..." Her words trailed off as her gaze slid back to Alfons. It was now his time to decide whether they undertook this mission or not. It could be dangerous and could threaten the safety of their Hexlarian members... But it could also bring great benefits for them.

"Agreed," Alfons said cooly. "Seeing as there are still unknown factors and a great potential for danger, I was thinking three hundred thousand." It was a large sum for such a simple spell but Alfons was open to negotiation. But if Jekyl couldn't even come up with that, he should know he has no business trying to toy with someone like Alfons.
