Cytherea vs. Gaia

I didn't say her component souls were the Lunars, I said they're the "incarnations" who appear to Lunars when they Exalt.

As for stressing Gaia is the last primordial in Creation; well, maybe Luna's not  powerful enough to be considered a proper primordial. And there was that idea that she was the first god ever made, and therefore is different from all the other gods, just as how Dragon Kings are different from humans and Alchemicals are different from the other Exalts.

I've often considered the possibility that Luna is a Fae of some sort, perhaps one who witnessed the Primordials when they brought forth creation.  The difference being that Luna didn't see Creation as a cancer like most, if not all, of the other Fae do.

Gaia noticed the onlooker and took a shine to him/her, and in time they became lovers and as a reward Gaia gave her new plaything a great amount of power, enough so that she's comparable to the Celestial Gods and generally considered one of them herself.

Of course, there's not much real evidence to support that theory.  It just seems to fit (at least to me).... afterall, Luna isn't a God, and definitely not a Celestine.  That and she's associated with the Wyld, or at least the Lunars are (and haven't they always been associated somewhat with the Wyld, even beore the usurption?).  With their protean/maleable natures/powers and their dual nature (that is, that they're the perfect mesh of man and beast) they seem to me like they have a bit of wyld-concept in them.  Then there is the fact that Luna's phases have such an impact on the wyld.  (although that could just be easily explained away as being the same thing as the impact her phases have over the tides).

So basically the fact that Luna and through her, the Lunars, have such a protean/maleable/etc nature with a close association with the Wyld, her influence over the Wyld, and the fact that she's definitely *not* a god lead me to think that it's quite possible that she is (or at least started off) as one of the Fae.

Obviously she can't be considered one of the Fae any longer, the changes Gaia wrought as a result of the powers granted her (basically making her a Celestial God) have rooted her in Creation, giving her the ability to stay there indefinitely without having to do the things that Fae must do to stay alive.  The power given to her may have allowed her to bypass the need to take on a static form and such that normal Fae must do to enter creation.

Wow, that's a very good theory, I like the whole eb and flow of the Wyld with the Moon, much like the tides. I second Dark Prophet ^_^
