Shade ran fell down on tbe grass As the rain fell she was excited about the rain

Ladia walked up the steps of the mansion with five shopping bags on each arm. She smiled as she used her foot to open the door. As she closed the door and yelled, "I'm home!" She threw the bags on the couch and took out the credit card she stole from earlier.

"welcome back ladia!" alex called from his room

Ladia looked at the bags and sighed. Maybe that guy from earlier was right. Maybe she shouldnt steal. Ladia smiled and laughed softly. Yeah right. She picked up the bags and headed to her room. She threw the bags to the side and changed clothes into one of her new outfit.

Malkavian sat in a long chair reading the local paper. He had dealt with the murderous vampire a while ago, but he still looked into the players behind the scenes. Something was at play in the city for which he did not like. He had lived around these parts for some time, and if anything his primal nature regarding territory tended to kick in.


When Ladia walked inside with several bags he could tell by the smile on her face she struck again. He sighed to himself why the young resorted to such drastic measures saddened him. He remembered the times when one worked hard from humble beginnings to earn life possesions.


When she walked upstairs he set the paper down looking after her, before putting the paper away. Taking a sip of tea Malkavian closed his eyes feeling a presence in the distance faint, but well hidden. It seemned vamperic in nature however there was traces of lycan. A hybrid perhaps he oppened his eyes setting the tea down on the nearby table.

Ladia then noticed she past Malkavian on the way up. She quickly ran down the steps and walked outside with her new outfit on. "Oh by the way Malkavian. Me and Honey met a vamp a few hours ago while I was walking to the mall. We killed him and Honey burned him. So..... yeah. Did you need him alive?", she asked. She looked at the woods and frowned. She knew she was going to have nightmares from that meeting. It reminded her too much of what happened years ago.

Malkavian rows from the chair proceeding outside next to Ladia arms crossed behind his back. He gazed out into the forest " a while aga i would have said yes, but it would seem i have a new lead." He said calmly. He looked to her raising a eybrow" i see today's events beared fruit for you." Malkavian spoke in a neutral tone.

Ladia bit her lip and shrugged lightly. She looked back at the house and said, "I'm gonna make lunch. I bought some more groceries. Alex didn't have anything I liked." As she walked in she yelled, "If you want you can have some." She went into the kitchen and took out a rectangular pan. She sighed and frowned.

Malkavian nodded back to ladia, as she left mentioning luch. He spoke in a calm tone" i just might take you up on that offer Ladia." He said before looking back to the forest. The presence he sence out there had vanished indicating its departure. He sighed at how much more hostile activity steadily increased within this city. He turned walking inside after Ladia. He appeared in the kitchen door leaning against the wall looking at her. He spoke in a kind tone" care for alittle help?" He asked.

"Sure. I left a blue grocery bag up in the attic. Do you mind grabbing it please? It has the main ingredient in it.", she said as she pulled out croissant wraps. She cuts the wraps into two inch triangles and pulled a plate out.

He nodded turning around making his way towerds upstairs. It took him a minute, but he finally reached the attic. He saw the blue bag making his way towerds it. He noticed several things strewn about, but paid no mind. Grabbing the bag he proceeded back downstairs. He walked into the kitchen placing the bag on the counter" here you are." He said calmly.

She turned and took the bag. "Thank you.", she said. She opened the bag and pulled out a packet of inch long hotdogs. After ripping the packet open, she placed a hotdog on each croissant wrap. She wrapped the croissant wrap around the hotdog for each one. When she was finished she put it into the over and turned the oven to five teen minutes. She cleaned up the trash and said, "It will take a while. So I will call everyone down when its ready. Thanks for the help."

Malkavian nodded" so tell me...what seems to be bothering you?" Malkavian asked. He had senced something off by her ever sence she came back to the mansion. He leaned against the counter looking at her.

Shade ran back in side being. Extreamly wet from the rain and ran in the kitchen to get water and see to people there scared she stood there

Ladia watched the timer count down and asked, "Was it really that obvious?" She smiled and turned to him. "That vampire from earlier. It just....." She trailed off and looked down at the cutting knife on the counter. She came back to reality, shook her head and said, "It just reminded me of something from many years ago." Ladia turned to see Shade and asked, "Hey you alright? Your wet, are you cold?"

Shade still stood there still frightened by the people not realizing she was still soaked

Ladia frowned and walked past Shade. She went to a closet and pulled out a towel. When she came back she placed the towel on Shade and sat in front of her. She smiled warmly at Shade and asked, "Now. You don't have to be scared. I live here too, I'm just kinda new. So are you alright? Your all wet."

Shade nods yes thank you shade says softly shade sits down on the floor and sniffs Lida lightly ( she wasn't raised with others like her she was raised by actual wolves)

Ladia smiled. "Good.", she said as she stood. She went over to the oven and checked the timer. 2 minutes. She turned back to Shade and asked, "Hey I made something to eat. It will be ready soon. You want some to eat too? There is plenty."
