Realistic or Modern curdled ooc

hi !! i'm charl, and i'm pretty new to this website but anyway, this rp is going to be based around life in a teen psych unit at a hospital, here i'm just gonna post some quick and easy rules, but don't hesitate to message me if you're unsure about anything!!

Rules
1. please, no mary sues/gary stu's etc. as in please have at least some negative character traits and portray them appropriately, if you need some i encourage you to check out this website here: http://ideonomy.mit.edu/essays/traits.html

2. all rpn rules apply, obviously

3. romance is allowed, but please keep it on the dl as in most psychiatric wards romantic relationships are not encouraged

4. give others attention! obviously everyone, whether you'd like to admit it or not loves being the centre of attention, however if you notice someones character being left out, include them !!

5. if you're going to kill someone, pm them and ask if that's okay

also quick note- as i don't suffer from any form of anxiety, please let me know if i misreplicate something !! i did have pretty bad anxiety two years ago, so i'm solely basing off memories from that experience, but ya if i type something that isn't correct please lmk!!

crossofjesus actually one thing that kind of irks me is GhostGamer's character's illness There's no such thing as Bipolar Personality Disorder. but Bipolar disorder can come with hallucinations. I think what GhostGamer was referring to was Borderline Personality Disorder (which often gets confused with Bipolar Disorder)

Alrighty. I'll retcon Kyle past Hunters character and continue from there.

And like what crossofjesus said, I don't have manic episodes, so I'm basing Ernst off of a friend who does. Let me know if there's anything inaccurate or offensive.

yeah, i saw that. i guess they confused it with Borderline Personality Disoder? idk, i'll message them and ask what they meant, as its a common mistake to mix up bipolar disorder from borderline pd

thanks, i just wanted to point that out because i had a family member who had Bipolar Disorder.
