Cult of the Illuminated

I have been thinking of running a Cult of Illuminated game on RPOL, base dout of Kether Rock. Ever since getting the book I have been really intrigued by some of the ideas therein. However, I was wondering if anyone else has run, or experienced such a game, and if they had any insights for me before I started.

I'm currently playing a twilight from Kether Rock. It's an interesting experience. I'm the groups howitzer (I know Solar circle sorcery), but due to the teachings of Kether Rock I tend to be very low key. Our group is based out of Chiaroscuro (spelling?), where I run a free clinic for the masses. I never show I'm anything more than a medicine man. My partner in crime is from the Sequestered Tabernacle, and we argue all the damn time. His character is much more upfront, the masses know he is something more than mortal (although they're unsure as to exactly what), and he spends a lot of his time preach and keeping up a very public face.


It's an interesting game, and I'm having a lot of fun with the idea that now a a Solar, I have a sort of common background, there's even another Solar from Kether Rock, and we pal around from time to time. However, we're from different paths so we're not exactly the same.
