Shafer pushed farther back from the dry land, inadvertently dragging Yuuki with him as yet another person showed up. Okay, this was becoming a bit much. He looked over to Mel, head cocked with cautious interest. She hadn't been there a few seconds ago, he hadn't even seen her approach. He sank a bit further underneath the water but didn't take his gaze off of her for a second.

He looked over to Mel, head cocked with cautious interest. She hadn't been there a few seconds ago, he hadn't even seen her approach. He sank a bit further underneath the water but didn't take his gaze off of her for a second. @LilyannaGaming

She noticed the boy sink back in the water, and she would have gone after him and told him she ment no harm...but she rather not sink to the bottom and malfunction. Her arm oad and brain receptors did not allow her near water. Instead she clicked the panel and surrounded herself in a bubble of zero gravity. Allowing her to move as if she where on land, but the diffrence was she was use to it and did not stumble. She smiled and moved over top of them in the air. She smiled at them as she curled up and started floating and hovering above them.

Shafer was just about to lose interest when the new one started flying, almost like Luka. Only difference being that she was getting help from. Something. He gaped up at her, eyes wide and gleaming with confusion before tangible excitement filled them, bottom to top. He pushed out with one of his powerful legs, swirling around beneath her, checking out the device from all sides. It looked just like an air bubble. He wondered if it could be popped like one. He brought up a clawed hand and flashed her a pretty smile as he swiped at the bubble curiously.

She smiled and chuckled as his claw fazed through. She clucked her tongue and shook her head as she proceed to get rolled around by the no gravity. She touched her arm again and two little drones appeared and floated around her. Making consistent Clicking and clacking. She just sat quietly, eyeing the boy with a curious glare. The drones seemed to be repairing the bubble where he had swiped. @Acey

Shafer giggled lightly when she was tossed around by his actions, relishing in his newfound power. And then those damn drones appeared and ruined his fun. He pouted and thought about trying to wreck those as well but decided it wasn't worth it. He was too entranced by the technology, he completely forgot Mel would have no idea what he was saying. "Can you take that thing underwater?"

She tilted her head when he responded in clicks. She held up her hand and touched her arm panel and it lit up a sound wave transmitter. "Repeat that." She said in english and it changed to clicks like his own. She smiled and lowered to where her feet hovered above the water. She changed the frequency's so she could understand his words. @Acey

Shafer gasped softly, chest moving up and down irregularly with glee as a huge grin painted across his expression. His own langauge. He had no idea how the fuck she was doing it but he didn't care, it was so nice to hear his own language. The spines along his forearms flared out in his elation. "I asked--" The nymph had to give himself a few seconds to calm down and level out his tone. He would've sounded mad otherwise. Well, to no one other than himself, but that was enough to matter. "--I asked if you could take that air bubble underwater? And still get enough human air to live?"

She smiled at his reaction. "Not this one. But i can form an actual Air bubble yes. This one is just a Zero Gravity Bubble. " She sent back smiling. She touched the panel again and the bubble became more dense as gravity returned. She closed her eyes as she fell into the water. Lucky, the air bubble kept water out...and away from her arm. She touched the arm panel and open her brain receptors menu and she tampered with her eyes so she could see clearly. They turned from stormy grey to silver.

Alli & Allister


Alli's attention turned to the nymph as he swam under & away, she moved close to take a better look at him most likely entranced. With this a sudden splash happened as a girl ran by, Alli had fallen in. Though she slapped at the water and kicked her legs it gave no luck for she did not know how to swim. She spat out water as it touched her lungs which made her choked as well. She turned to see the neko above the surface she wanted to call out, but her words swam away. I-I'm drowning, I-I can't swim! She thought sinking deeper.

Shafer opened his mouth to make some sarcastic remark about Mel's pitiful swimming abilities but before he'd really comprehended what happened, he was diving under the water and wrapping his arm around someone's waist. He pressed two fingers to the person's temple, trying to get her to calm down as he moved her hair out of her face. He didn't bring her to the surface just yet, just held her close as he looked her over. It was in his instincts to drown people, not save them. Transform people, not leave them be. So it was only natural for him to inspect his prey before his more moral reasoning kicked in. He chittered out a quick apology that Alli couldn't understand before giving a powerful kick of his legs and sending them shooting to the surface. He held her high enough that her shoulders breached the surface. "Better?" He chirped, impulse making him once again forget the language barrier.

Mel swan peacefully as she watched the scene unravel. She smiled once she saw the girl hit the surface. She quickly swam up, having a bit of trouble since she never swan before. She popped up beside than boy and translated. "He asked if this was better" She said laughing. To him, it would have been clicks, but to the girl it was simple english. @Acey @The White Rabbit

Alli's eyes opened weakly as she felt someone fall near her, she about gave up her last breath of hair in surprise of the nymph. She knew nymphs were known for transforming their prey, am I prey now? She asked herself turning pale before she could feel her body defying the water, she looked up to see sunlight. Her eyes blinked as she held onto the ground of which she was clinging onto tightly, she looked over at the guy. He chirped and that was translated by a girl who swam near. Alli coughed still water in her lungs, drying her hair she answered. " I believe I am aware of what he just said thank you though." She tried to smile for she barely could after the fact she had just been drowning. She turned to the nymph and bowed her head a bit as she sent him a message. Thank you for practically saving my life.

Shafer looked to Mel in surprise when she appeared beside him. She had a habit of startling him. He kind of enjoyed it. He gave a bright, appreciative smile when she translated for him, nodding his approval of her confirmation. He reached over and laid his webbed hand on the air bubble curiously before his attention was once more stolen by the other girl. He glanced to Alli when her voice echoed throughout his mind, shuddering at the feeling. Were all humans capable of this? Even in his confusion, he laughed loudly, the sound charming in its foreignness. "Practically? I did save your life, human."

Yuuki watched as the scenes unfolded. There was a girl who almost drowned, a girl in an air bubble, he had been pulled back under water, Shafer had saved someone, and someone had read in mind, though not particularly in that order. He smiled as he heard Shafer's voice in English meaning they didn't have to speak telepathically any more, unless they were under water. His face had gone back to its normal paper white color and he sat at the edge of the pond his feet still in the water. "Shafer can understand us now?" He asked looking to the girl who was in the air bubble. @LilyannaGaming @The White Rabbit @Acey

She grinned through the air bubble. "I wouldn't mess with the bubble too much. It will pop and if my arm touches that water it might kill me." She said, though she smiled. Sht turned to the other boy who had spoken. "He can when i am near. Everything we say sounds like his own language. When he speaks, it sounds like english to us." She said tilting her head. "Its all cause of this arm panel. When i get on land i can make something more permanent if he wants it. " SHe said.

Alli glared at the nymph, obviously he didn't approve of her appreciation. Forgive me for my rudeness I'm not used to thanking people. Oh god that sounded rude too huh? Please don't call me human I prefer gender-switcher too. She winced red at the fact he called her human before glowing into a dark blue color out of which a young boy appeared he looked at Shalef and smiled. " Hello everyone i'm Allister, apparently Alli who was just here isn't feeling well."

Shafer grunted his approval. He would've been more enthusiastic if he wasn't suddenly engrossed in tightening the strip of fabric criss crossing across his chest. It was almost falling apart and he wouldn't stand for that. For it was a very important fashion accessory and he really didn't want to kill another deer, let alone go through the beading process. But when he drifted back to the land of the living, he realized he was expected to say something. He only gave Mel a blank stare as he nodded. "Yes, please, pretty one. I didn't catch your name though."


He looked over to Alli. Or. Not Alli. There was a boy now. A cute one. Was every human also this level of attractive? They weren't merfolk level but he hadn't expected this much. He looked Allister over dubiously. "Is she mad at me?"

"Melody." She said she lifted her arm out the water at the sound of ripping. A drone flashed in front of her and she motioned it over to the boy. Which Yuuki had said his name was...Shafer. The drone floated hovered above the boy, its red gaze upon the tear. It's static-y voice sounded. "Repair?" it said. Melody started to swim slowly towards the land.

Yuuki hopped back in the water sighing as he felt it get a little colder. 'I hope I do t get sick because of this.' He thought digging his head under water re soaking himself. He stayed in the water this time actually finding it a little warmer than being in the water. He started humming a bit as he floated around not really doing anything. He was definetly going to take a so after this, he just wasn't sure if it was going to be in or out the water. @Acey @LilyannaGaming @The White Rabbit

Shafer jolted in surprise at the sight of the drone, sharp teeth immediately bared in a loud, hostile snarl, not liking the new technology so close to him. It was only until he received a translation that he realized what Melody was trying to do. He swallowed harshly but took his hands away from his clothing, exposing the rip in his chest piece. He eyed the machine warily, not having any idea as to how it was going to repair the tear exactly.

The drone scanned the repair and its beam the second time seem to mend the clothing quickly. Once it finished, it disappeared. Meanwhile Melody sat on the shore, air bubble gone. Instead little equiment tools the where high tech as well sat around her. They moved and put the micro pieces together. She was building the device slowly, because it would have to be pressure and water proof. The tiny robotic arms worked and she had her googles on which made her look werid from a distance. @Acey

Shafer stared in amazement, a giddy purr bubbling up in his chest as he tugged at the chest piece. As tight and strong as ever. Brilliant. He ducked underneath the surface and slid through the water effortlessly. He popped up next to Yuuki. His long tongue swiped over his lower lip as he sent Yuuki a thought. "Are you cold?"

When she finished, black stain covered her cheeks and lower part of her face. She removed her googles and her equiment disappeared. She sat with her feet in the water and waited for Shafer to come to the shore. The object looked like a ring, that could be adjusted into a braclet or necklace. Depending on where it would least affect him. @Acey

Shafer clicked at Yuuki apologetically but Melody had his attention now. He ducked under the water and in only a few seconds he reappeared directly in front of her. His pointed ears twitched with amusement as he looked her over until his gaze landed on the thing in his hands. He gestured to it with a questioning click.

She pressed her thumb so it would activate, and so it so he could understand her. "Put it on your wrist, finger, on neck. Anywhere comfrable where it is touching your skin." She said and eased it over to him. She smiled. "It's water proof. No worries." She said. She took the bottom of her shirt and wiped her hands. @Acey
