Crys's hair is a fair blonde that he's actually quite fond of. His eyes are brown in colour.

and yes! he does look this dusty, crusty and banged up because he's in the same condition he died in.

However, over the centuries, he's bandaged himself up and even gotten a neck brace for the "aesthetic"

height | 5'9

weight | 160 lbs

superpowers |

he can pass through glass... some glass. it's a "figure it out as you go" kinda thing

he can also explode crystal but only real, hard crystal

weapons | a dagger

"do crutches count?"

strengths |

☆ surprisingly resilient. no amount of blows to his body will deter him (maybe bc he's dead)

sometimes, his ability to explode is actually useful! it has killed a handful of people over the years

weaknesses |

☆ only as long as he haunts his ancient home is he allowed to remain more or less alive.

which is why even in the middle of villainous plotting he has to pack up and travel

to his home in France and haunt his kin

☆ only has one eye, so, terrible aim and sometimes he has noticeable vision problems

"hello, where did everyone go? and why did they close the lights?"

sexuality | bisexual

personality | "one time, one time I accidentally set fire to a theatre and I'm a villain"

Crys did not set out to be a villain. He's actually a real sweetheart deep, deep, deep down and totally

the kind of guy you would introduce to your mother. He just gets caught up in the wrong sort of stuff.

The youngest son of French nobility, it is no surprise that Crys is quite the spoiled child. He adores

expensive fabrics, expensive ingredients... Expensive anything. After becoming a ghost, Crys continued

to harbour his love for all thing luxury and steals regularly. But he doesn't consider himself evil, despite

the opinion of many jewelry shops around the world, because he kills rarely. And that doesn't make him

like, a villain villain, right? A bit dense and infantile at times because even though he's been around for

a hella long time, he still died a teenager. So his teenage heart yearns for all the soppy teenage stuff including

drama! friendship! rebellion! He's guilty of hopping from lover to lover, always looking for the new, exciting thing.

What's au courant? What's in? These are the questions he asks himself when he wakes up every morning. Well, he

never truly sleeps. Other times, he's much more morbid and creepy... like a ghost. Death and murder fascinate him

and maybe that's why he's considered a villain.

likes |

☆ the feeling of excitement + danger

☆ expensive anything, money

☆ gourmet food, preferably French

☆ a bit of death with a spot of tea

☆ being in a trusting, committed relationship that ends in death, preferably

dislikes |

☆ being called a "ghost"

☆ distaste for the monarchy (long live the king!)

☆ "middle-class" or the "bourgeoisie"

backstory |

Claude-Michel, Marquis de Lafayette was born during the spring of the French Revolution. The youngest child of the

Count de Lafayette and the least wanted. Why, oh why, did a child have to come along? Claude's mother had been

45 and yet he came along, a miracle and a curse, depending on who you asked. Always the rowdy one - he had

the good fortune of being his mother's pretty spoiled boy - he got away with the mayhem he caused. From his

siblings, he learned to cause scandal by sometimes supporting the Revolutionists, deciding to learn Hungarian and

sleeping with servants here and there. Despite acting otherwise, Claude lived a very sheltered life until he

finally got his mother's approval to travel to Paris. And then he died the minute he got there, having a horse carriage

run him over. He came back a few hours later in less than perfect physical condition. For a vain boy, it was the

ultimate blow to his self-confidence. He spent many years underground, befriending roaches and skeletons until

finally deciding to "embrace the light." What followed was petty thefts in order to attain stuff that made him feel

closer to his past. He also learned about the conditions that came with his rebirth...Namely, having to haunt his

castle in the French countryside in order to stay on Earth. He also realized he could walk through glass which was really great

until he learned that he could not walk through all glass. Over time, Claude learned to fit in with mortals who saw

him as a very pale, banged up man who really liked smoking. After the end of a passionate relationship turned sour,

Claude realized he was good... At being bad. But not too bad, he had the nobility's moral to preserve. He took inspiration

from his favourite lover, who'd called him "a real villain" and deciding that being bad was in style, he took to it. The name

"Crys Tal" was his attempt at being clever but he realized too late how pathetic it was. Now, he's stuck with it.

villainous motive |

To make money to fund his expensive shopaholic habits. Thieving gets old quick.

why you suck as a villain |

his powers don't exactly scream scary, strong "villain." he gets frustrated really easily (cue tears), so he's like

one big evil parody of himself. Crys is also much more interested in a string of pearls than defeating good.

theme song | Primadonna
