A simple manga styled slice of life RP about the comings and goings of a certain cafe.


There's no real limit to the type of character, but it shouldn't be too... uh I dunno, unfitting. It can get crazy (hence manga styled) just not... no one knows whats going on crazy lol.

Personality: hyper, bubbly.. Not very easy to upset because he gets bullied a lot, he's used to it, outgoing,generous, would give the shirt off his back to anyone, very soft, warm hearted, all in all, a very nice person to be around, he's also really camp, and a very big flirt


Bio: stayed on at school, and took his advanced cooking courses.. Passed with flying colours, Cane is a brilliant cook for his age, he wanted to carry it on because his mother taught him, when cane was only 10, she was murdered, so cooking for people started beccoming like an escape for him, he has won countless junior cooking compotitions as a child, he is very passionate about his cooking

Personality: Overactive, Intuitive, Strong-willed and stubborn, and sometimes incredibly serious, but shy towards other, more outgoing people. She is kind hearted most of the time and likes to push people towards their goals; Very action oriented. She can be mean if pushed, and grudges she holds tend to last ridiculous amounts of time. The few friends she has know she is louder and more extroverted than she seems.

Bio: A student at a nearby university, she decided to try something new while wandering around the area. She stays quiet most of the time, so she isn’t very popular. Financially, she struggles to put herself through college, and always feels guilty about putting her parents through the strains and always looking for ways to help them. Nanako has straight black hair that falls to her shoulder, her bangs cut short so it would not bother her eyes. Her eyes are a bright purple, a strange eye color that has come through from her mother's side. Her build is fairly thin, yet she is of average build and stands at 5'2".

Personality: For a young girl, Nanako is quite mature, yet masks it with a surprisingly cheerful behavior. She's often misjudged, thought to be naive when she truly is kind to those who will accept her for how she is. Her morals are known to most, and is often teased for her bright personality. She may not be as intelligent as her brother, but she is evidently smart in her ways. She has a bit of abandonment issues due to her brother's neglect back as a kid, this is secret to those around her.


Bio: Nanako had a relatively normal childhood, growing up with her strict parents and studious brother. She would often stay inside and watch her brother study, often because most of the other kids thought she was weird for having such different colored eyes. She never really knew she was being isolated, often brushing it off and remaining inside with her brother. As the years went by, she was welcomed as her brother's company, surprised when he finally accepted her. She often has him tutor her in times of confusion, and is usually seen dragging him along to meet new friends.As of now, she's been studying in college with her brother's help. She's taken up work at the Crossroad's Cafe to help pay for expenses.


Other: Nanako always carries a small messenger bag with her. She knows of her brother's weak vision, carrying his glasses with her if he ever needed them or his contacts are lost. She's aiming to be a model/actress. She can only hope she can work it out.

Yousuke's hair is actually a darker color of brown, despite her sister's hair being straight black. His hair goes in a number of directions, being thin and easy to style as if he had straightened it himself. His eyes are a deep blue in contrast to his sister's eyes. He stands at 5'6", often towering over most who talk to him. His body is average, despite his athletic behavior.

Job: Waiter; Rarely ever being a Cook

Personality: Yousuke is dash of charming, a dash of competitive, and pinch of protective. He can be quite bossy on occasions, often wanting to have assignments and duties fulfilled the right--Or rather, his way. Despite this demeanor, he is most protective of his sister, letting it slip every once in awhile. He also tends to show a nice side, it's not characterized as rare, yet if seen, most girls often stare in awe.


Bio: Being the eldest of the Nomura siblings, Yousuke has been rising up to his position. As a boy, he took the time to do his studies, balancing it out with what ever classes or lectures his father told. So focused on his upcoming tests, he had neglected his younger sister often because he thought she'd be a distraction to his work. Eventually, he warmed up to her, somehow managing to squeeze time in for her as well. Due to expenses, he's taken up a part'time job with his sister at the "Crossroad's Cafe."


Other: Because of his constant studying, he must wear glasses. He doesn't wear them though, he says it makes him look stupid. Also studying in college, he's aiming to take over the family business, since his dad did put him up for it.

Personality-Shayna is a bit of an awkward girl. She has moments when she feels out of place around people and never knows what to say. She's really easy to get along with,despite her quirky qualities. She gets extremely shy around guys and ends up stumbling over her words,making her feel like a complete dork. She loves to read and sketch in her spare time.


Bio-Shayna comes from a family of stern doctors. Her father is a brain surgeon and her mother is a heart surgeon. She has an older brother who is going to college to become doctor who specializes in pediatric cancer.Shayna decided to go in a different direction. And for that,her family is less then happy about it. The fact that their daughter want to be an artist,didn't really sit well with them.After many years of fighting,they have decided to leave her alone about it.Though they haven't completely left her alone about it,they have let up some.They also want her to marry a doctor,which drives her insane.She finally moved out a couple of months ago and now lives in a one bedroom apartment,about 15 minutes away from the café.She also owns a neon green volkswagon bug,that her brother likes to tease her about.

Bio- Put into a foster care at a young age he holds no memories of his parents but loves his foster parents and treats them like his own parents. Although a stunningly good student he refused to inconvenience his adopted family with the thoughts of an expensive college and decided to do everything on his own dime. Living in the same small apartments as one of her co-workers Shanya, to stay close enough to his foster family so his foster siblings could visit him as well as close enough to attend certain classes he took and his job at the Crossroads Cafe. Although very attached to the idea of medicine an arm wound received during a baseball game makes his hands shake so he is exploring new options.

Oh! Hmm, I wasn't expecting so many people to join at the same time all of a sudden (And I just remembered to post too...) ! Uhh... If you could find a way to write yourselves into the role play that would be great. Your character sheets all look good. I think one way to write them into the scene would be something like they walk in just as Cane said his statement and goes "What about me?" or something to that effect.

Bio: Kim is a college student preparing for medical school. She prefers to keep her past to herself. She enjoys playing video games and reading manga. She's always been a bit of an outcast, but she doesn't mind. She loves everything about the world and is fascinated by life. She avoids people for the most part, and takes extra steps to be partly alone. One thing she does is go to a relatively empty coffee shop for her morning latte.


Personality: Shy, keeps to herself, quiet, doesn't ask questions, distrusting, but content and happy overall

Personality: Pandora's an outgoing and spontaneous young woman, with a witty humor. Although Pandora is book smart, she's very careless and tends to rush into things without thinking, therefore, wasting her intelligence. She's quite the flirt, but Pandora really is a one man woman.


Bio: Pandora visits the cafe everyday and orders the same tea and muffin, sits at the same table, and reads the same book. Her cafe time is the only time she has, as she tends to fill her day plan sky high. She's usually late to the appointments, but if you know Pandora well, then you'd know that she'll always be late. So, don't bother coming early.


Pandora finished her Bachelor's Degree in Business, only for show, though. Pandora's family owns a large company called, "La Belle". It's a huge company with many connections around the world maybe even with aliens. Since her older brother refuses to take up the company, the family business fell into Pandora's hands.


Appearance: 5'8 (tall) and has dark black eyes.
