Twenty years ago, the Great Leader Alaois gathered his army of 740 dogs and, led by a single hunter, the pack reclaimed territory taken over by the Giant Beasts, a race of massive bears living in the mountainous forest. By invoking the Croi Madra, Great Leader Alaois defeated the Beast King and took his territory for his own pack.
The dogs of the mountains lived in peace for those twenty years, until something ancient and dark began to stir in the forest. As fewer and fewer dogs came back from scouting parties and hunting trips, several members of the pack began to suspect something was wrong in the mountains. Just two days later, the leader disappeared. The pack was left to steal livestock from the humans and fight amongst themselves for food to survive. The pack split apart, and the forest on the mountain was plunged into chaos and death.
Now, with nobody to stand up and lead them, the dogs of the mountains are faced with a decision: flee, or defend their birthright and fight for their land?

Most of the dogs are concentrated to the eastern side, but small packs and lone dogs can be found anywhere. Various human ranches and farms lie along the rivers.

RULES
- Be active!
- Use proper writing mechanics, and keep replies around a three-line minimum.
- Keep swearing to a minimum.
- Romance is allowed as long as it is appropriate for 13-year-olds.
- Violence is encouraged, but don't be psychotic. Keep it reasonable and realistic.
- No special powers, appendages, mutations, etc. The only magic allowed is that mentioned in the Overview used by the leader and his descendants.
- All RpNation rules apply.
- Include a theme song for your character if you read and agree to all these rules.
