Warriors of the Past, Present and Future! You have been selected to participate in the Battle of the Ages Tournament. Winner will receive extreme wealth based on the time you came from.
With the recent change of the rules, we will also only be selecting new fighters, such as you!
Now, let the games begin!

The Critical Power Tournament will be a more projectile based Tekken style Tournament Roleplay. It will feature a huge variety of classes to play as, all having their own play styles, strengths, and weaknesses.
I will post the classes in an extra page, but i will gladly explain the mechanics right here

Floor bounces
Occur from heavy downward attacks that cause the opponent to hit the floor and bounce up. These are commonly Middle attacks (hits low block). These can be followed up with a combo.

Armor Attacks
Armor attacks are attacks that still continue after getting hit. Damage is not negated, and the attack cannot counter.

Explosive Attack
Attacks that cause an Explosion. These are Unblockable to non shielded targets.

Tag Attack
An attack that launches the enemy into the air, which grants the chance to have a Tag Team Combo.

Grab Attack
Duckable Unblockables that are easy to punish, but can deal a lot of damage, even with Chain grab characters.


Attack type combinations:
Floor Armor
Explosive Armor
Explosive Tag
Floor Tag
Tag
Armor (Cannot swap back to character that started the Combo)
Tag Grab (All characters have this, a special two man grab that automatically swaps characters.)
 
ooo, people are joining. I'm planning setting this up on Discord, if i am able to, so once i see atleast 4 people join in (including you 3), i will put the poll up for the roleplay platform
 
Thepotatogod Thepotatogod Sorry for not explaining it. By Tekken Style, i mean it has a lot of Tekken Elements, such as Floor Bounce and Armor. There will indeed be Magic (most magic projectiles will be considered Explosive), as the class types are Brawler (CQC, Melee, Variety), Assassin (Speed, DPS, Zoning), Ranger (Ranged Combat, Chip Damage, Defense) and Spellcaster (Ranged Melee Hybrid, Burst Damage, Effects), and even Hybrid Classes, which are mostly one class type, but have the elements of another class type.

Seems like a pretty interesting RP and I can smell some polish in those mechanics, which I can really appreciate. Unfortunately, however, the kind of thing you are trying to emulate ain't my cup of tea, and my hands are already pretty busy so I can't afford much in the way of experiments. Thanks for the offer though, and I'll be sure to send over people if I think they might have an interest in this!
 
Here, have a Leak
Damage Debuff: Reduces next attack by set percent
Defense Debuff: Reduces next hit taken by set percent
Slow: Attacks take twice as long to use
Cancel: Temporarily prevents enemy from attacking
Poison: Deals incredibly low damage at a time
Bind: Temporarily prevent movement from location of effect.
Stun: Causes enemy to fall over, unable to move. Stunned enemies can only hit by low reaching attacks, and Stun cancels any attacks, excluding Armor
Time stop: Stops an enemy in time. Similar to Stun, but allows an enemy to be hit medium and high, but attacks arent canceled, and will continue after Time Stop
Unique Effect, Blind: Gives melee a 50% chance to miss, and Projectiles a 99% chance to miss (Chances roll high, Use dice. Unique to Shadow and Phantom)
Unique Effect, Blizzard: Gives Defense and Attack buff, and a small movement buff, but character inflicted takes 5% damage each turn until loss (Unique to Frost)
Unique Effect, Curse: Short term Damage, Increases damage taken from Demon Characters (Unique to Berserker and Hexer Demons)
