You either wake up from an accident, or are already in the hospital with something majorly wrong.
And you've just been told you have only 10 days to live. What do you do?
The hospital has started a support group for the dying teenagers, hoping it will go well for them.
Rules:
You can't have anything contagious because you have to interact with your fellow support group members.
Your character doesn't have to like anyone else and want to go to it but you must.
Let's keep the ages from around 16-20
The nurse that leads the group will obviously have to interact with everyone so anyone can god-mod her ONLY. And you can't make her do anything crazy or out of character.
Please only 2 characters per person
This one is so important it gets it's own line-- stay away from the cliches of leukemia and breast cancer. Be creative in answering that part of the character, try to keep your in RP symptoms of whatever you have accurate. You might even have to do a little research but it's not required.

My Characters:
Name: Rachel Perrey
Age: 17
Appearance:
What's killing you: Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (human mad-cow disease for those who don't know)
Personality: Rachel is fairly nice to everyone, although she isn't *there* all the time because of the deterioration of her brain. She has a really hard time when she hallucinates because it's hard for her to tell the difference between what's real and what isn't, she deals with this by blocking everyone and everything out.
Brief history: She has parents and a sister that visited her, but then they stopped coming towards the end. No one knows how/why she got CJD it just happened, she knows she's going to die and it doesn't bother her.
Other: None
Name: Elliot Benson
Age: 17
Appearance:
What's killing you: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (bronchitis and deterioration of the lungs)
Personality: Despite the fact that he is dying for someone else's mistake, Elliot is probably the most forgiving and accepting person his age. He's sad that he's dying but he hopes to make his last bit count towards helping other people be okay with it.
Brief history: He grew up with his dad who was a stress-smoker with a lot of stress. His dad always smoked around him believing secondhand smoke was a myth. That's how Elliot got COPD, his dad felt so bad and guilty that he tried to quit cold-turkey when Elliot was admitted to the hospital, but the withdrawals were so bad that he had a breakdown and needed to go to a clinic.
Other: Some days when it's really hard for him to talk he carries around a whiteboard to write on.
If I left anything out or you have questions don't hesitate to ask.
