Crimsoneclipse x major cinnamon bun

"You live there all by yourself?" she asked. It was a pretty big house, at least, that's what she had gathered from the outside. She figured that it must get lonely in such a huge house, that would kind of explain the whole thing about just wanting to have a conversation with someone.

She's right. He really lives there all alone. There were no humans, except for the occasional carpenters, cleaners, and gardeners. "Yes, I live there all alone. All of my family members, at least those that I know of, are all dead." He said, a bittersweet smile on his face. Truth be told, he didn't know if he had a family. He remember nothing prior to becoming a vampire, even his name has been given by him to himself. "But, it's not really lonely, especially with about 30 cats and kittens to accompany me." He said. He has no idea why, but absolutely adores cats, especially kittens.

Elizabeth laughed about the cats, that was certainly one way to reduce loneliness. She was about to make a comment about him being like a crazy cat lady, but then her phone buzzed before she had the chance. It was her friends that she left back at the bar, wondering where she was. It seems that they were ready to leave faster than she thought they would be. "Well, I suppose that my cue. I've got to go pick up my friends, but we could prolong this if you walk back to the bar with me." She said, a little disappointed that they had texted her early.

He smiled at her. "I'd love to." He said, standing up and paying for the coffee. "Shall we get going?" He ask, holding out his hand to her, hoping she would take it. He really wish that they could talk longer, but she had other priorities and he doesn't want to distract her from it.

(Sorry for the short post, I need to go to class. Bye!)

She quickly finished her coffee and then too his hand, "Let go." she said, and they exited the coffee shop. She sent a quick text to her friends to let them know she was on her way, so they wouldn't freak out. The bar wasn't too far away, it would only take a few minutes to get there. "It was a pleasure to spend the evening talking with you Sebastian." She said as they walked. "It was a lot more fun then sitting alone in a bar."

(its all good, I know how that goes.)

He smiled as she took his hand. If it wasn't for the coffee, she would have surely felt his icy touch. He sighed, knowing this might be the last time they talked. He truly enjoys anybody's company, but he had taking a liking in Elizabeth and their conversations. She's just...different. "So, I guess this is good bye then." He said, sighing. "If you want, you can come and visit me in my house. Good bye, Elizabeth." He said, kissing her hand and leaving for the night.

"I guess you're right." she said. When he kissed her hand she was more than a little shocked, she wasn't really sure what to say. He started to walk away, "See you around, I hope." she said quietly to herself. She would have said it louder, but he was already walking away, and she had to get back to her friends. It only took her a second to find them, she mentally counted to make sure of of them were there, then headed out. Taking them back to their various houses or apartments.

He went back to his house, alone and lonely once more. "So, how was your night?" A woman ask her, sitting on the couch. Well, he did not say the whole truth to Elizabeth. When he said he was alone, he meant that he had no human companions with him. "I had a great night, Selene." He said with a smile. Selene is sitting on a couch, playing with a little kitten. Her black hair and yellow eyes glowing in the moon light. Selene is also a vampire like him, and she's as close to a sister as he ever had. She looks like she's 15, although she really is older than that. Unlike him, Selene does not go out of the house, fearful of humans.

(Is it okay to have additional characters? If not I can remove her.)

After dropping off all of her friends and making sure they were okay, Elizabeth went home. She wasn't really a fan of having to be the responsible one all the time, but there weren't a lot of other options. On a normal night she would have just sat at home and wallowed in self pity, but then done nothing about it. But tonight was different, she had other things on her mind. Mostly about what happened tonight, and about Sebastian, but also about what to do next. She could just wait and see if she ran into him again, but she didn't really want to, so the alternative was to go and see him. But she wasn't sure if that would be to forward, so she decided to give it a few days, then if she didn't run into him she would go to his house. While she was contemplating all of this, Elizabeth got ready for bed, and after making her decision, drifted off to sleep.

(nah, extra characters are good, I was actually going to add a few myself. I don't think stories with only two characters are very good, and they get kind a boring after a while. I'm going to add my one of my characters to the character sign-up tab before I go to bed tonight.)

Morning came, and Sebastian was there to see the sunrise. This one of the few things Sebastian enjoy's as an immortal, enjoying nature's beauty and splendor. Contrary to popular belief, vampires do not burn in sunlight. They are merely weakened, their full capacity reduced. "Isn't it beautiful." He said to Selene, who is beside him. "Yes it is." She said, leaning on his shoulders. They have been together for so long, treating each other like a family. "Oh yeah, I forgot. I may have someone over, so try to look lively, okay?" He ask, smiling at her. "Don't worry, I will."

The sunrise came and went, and a few hours later Elizabeth woke up. Luckily, she had one more day of weekend before she had to go back to work, so she didn't have to wake up early. And if she didn't have to, she wasn't going to. While eating breakfast she contemplated what to do today, but ultimately came up with nothing. And because she had absolutely no good excuse to pursuance her otherwise, she decided it would be a good idea to go to Sebastian's house. She had always wanted to see what it looked like inside anyway, so what better time than now. She quickly got ready, throwing on a pair of jeans and a black teeshirt, and made her way to the big house on the hill. It was easy to find, she knew exactly where it was, most people did. When she got there she found herself sitting in her car, unable to gather the courage to actually get out, this certainly wasn't the best idea she'd ever come up with. But she couldn't turn back now, so she got out of the car and walked to the door, not giving herself time to second guess the decision any more.

Sebastian was in the library when Elizabeth arrived, not seeing her. Selene, however, was out in the porch. She saw Elizabeth and smiled. She knew that this is the girl Sebastian's talking about. She went to the door, opening it and smiling brightly at Elizabeth. "Hi! You must be Sebastian's friend. It's so nice to meet you!" She said, giving Elizabeth a hug. "I am Selene, Sebastian's sister. He's in the library, reading. Oh, he doesn't know you're already here." She said the last part in a whisper, giggling.

"Uh, hi. It's nice to meet you too." Elizabeth said when Selene hugged her, it caught her a little off guard. That and she had no idea sebastian had a sister, then again, she had only met him last night, so it's not really surprising that she didn't know that. Then she said that he was in the library and he didn't know that she was here. "So should I just go in then?" She asked. This was pretty much the first and only time she had done something like this.

"Oh yes! Just go right in!" She said, gleefully bringing you to the library and opening the door. "Sebby! Your friend is here!" She called out, running away giggling. Sebastian closed the book he was reading, which curiously had no title. "Ah, so you've met Selene." He said, smiling as he approached Elizabeth. "Forgive her for being so enthusiastic. We rarely have guests in here." He said. Well, they do have guests, but some got too suspicious and nosy, really rude people. "I'm glad you went to visit. I thought that you would just dismiss me as some random weirdo who has a big house." He said, smiling.

She shrugged, "No apologies needed, being enthusiastic is not a bad thing." She said, waving of his comment about his sister. She really didn't mind, she just wasn't really expecting so much enthusiasm, it caught her by surprise. "Oh, and don't be fool, I do in fact believe that you're a random weirdo with a big house." Elizabeth said in a joking tone. "However, I figured I should at least see the big house before I dismiss you." She looked around at the library, which she thought was pretty amazing. "Speaking of big places, This library is pretty impressive, definitely more impressive than the public library."

He grinned at her, hearing her comment about Selene. "Oh believe me, you'll take back what you said after a couple of her pranks." He told her, which is because he is the victim to all of it. He walked around the library, running his fingers on the books. "Yes, it is actually pretty impressive. The collection had been growing ever since my ancestors settled down. Everything from science, literature, history, occult, everything can be found here." He said, proudly grinning at her. This have been a hobby of his, collecting books and other pieces of art.

"I used to have a big library, of course not as big as this, but it was alright. As soon as I went off to college it got packed up into boxes and put in my parents attic, it's probably still there. I don't have the space anymore though." Elizabeth said, half absentmindedly. She was more focused on the books then the words she was saying. After another minute she looked at Sebastian. "So, are you going to show me the rest of the house?" She asked.

"Well, you are free to use my library anytime." He said with a smile. "Come, I want to show you something." He said, leading her up the house. He lead her to a room. It was dark but you can clearly see that the room is in the shape of a dome. When he opened the lights, the illuminated room turned out to be a small observatory. "This was the most recent addition to the house. Fascinating isn't it." He said, smiling at her.

Elizabeth was really impressed now. A library was one thing, a lot of people had libraries. But an observatory is an entirely different thing. "Wow..." she said looking around in awe. "I mean, really, wow. I'm beginning to think that this house might have everything." She was about to ask if he had a movie theater here too, but then her phone when off. She took it out and saw she had a text message from her brother, and she hadn't heard from him for a long time. So this was defiantly a rare occurrence. "Uh, I know I just got here, but I've gotta go. My brother just asked me to meet up with him and I haven't seen him in a few years..." Elizabeth trailed off, feeling like is was kind of an asshole thing to do, but she had to do it.

He was really amused at Elizabeth's reaction to what she saw, and it was rightly so. Even he himself can't help but be amazed whenever he steps inside this room. "Well, yes, this house does have everything, it just lacks people to use it." He said, smiling at Elizabeth with a hint of sadness and longing. He was sad to hear that she needed to go, but he didn't want to encumber her even more. "No problem, you are free to go. Besides, family always comes first. Just visit me some other day, alright?" He said to Elizabeth, greatly yearning for her companionship once more.

Elizabeth nodded, "Yeah, for sure, I still need to see the rest of the house." she said as she started to turn around and make her way out. But before she went to far she had an idea. "Or...having a crazy idea here," she stopped walking and turned back to Sebastian, "you could maybe just come with me." She wasn't sure how that would go over, considering that they didn't know each other that well, but she figured she would throw it out there anyway. And she hadn't seen her brother in years, so it would be an awkward thing even if she didn't bring a friend.

Sebastian chuckled at her reply. Well, though the sun doesn't kill him, it still stings. Well, he needs to be out in the sun anyway, he's getting too pale it's becoming obvious. "Sure, why not?" He said to Elizabeth, the smile still on his face. "I sure would love to see your brother. But are you sure he's alright with meeting people her sister just met last night?" He asked, more joking than serious.

"Who says he has to know?" Elizabeth said with a smile. This would be great, now if things get weird, she can have someone she actually kind of knows. Well, at least someone that she likes. "You sure you're okay with this?" she asked one more time, she wasn't going to pressure him into coming if he didn't want to. That and she was pretty sure it was not normal to ask someone you met last night to come with you to meet your brother. "Because you don't have to come, it was just an idea."

He spreads his hands out. "Of course I'm sure. Do you think I'm a man who just talks to random strangers?" He said to her, the last part was an obvious inside joke among them. "Don't worry, I can run fast just in case your brother tries to skin me alive." He said to her. "Oh, just wait one minute. You see, I have special medical condition. My skin is sensitive to the sun, so if you don't mind waiting, I just need to apply some ointment." He said to Elizabeth, heading to his room. Selene giggled as she went to Elizabeth. "Are you two out for a date?" She asks.

Elizabeth nodded and waited where she was for him to come back. Then they could go get this thing over with. She looked over at Selene when she heard her ask if it was a date and shrugged. "Not exactly, I don't think this particular instance qualifies as a date." she said. Not that she would mind if it was a date, but she wasn't going to say that out loud. And especially not to his sister.
