Crimsoneclipse x major cinnamon bun

Elizabeth sat by herself in a booth at the local bar. This wasn't really a place she frequented, but her friends had insisted, and to avoid looking like a complete shut in she agreed. Now they were off doing whatever, and she was stuck here as a designated driver. She looked around and saw a few other people that were alone too, but she wasn't about to talk to any of them. It's too loud in here anyways, so I wouldn't be able to have a conversation. She thought to herself. It was really just an excuse not to talk to anyone though, she would be making those all night. After a few more minutes Elizabeth decided that if she had to say, she was at least going to go outside for a while. So she made her way for the door and the fresh air.

Sebastian was outside the bar, arguing with himself whether or not to go in. If he went in, he would have some to talk to but his hunger might awaken. But, more than his thirst for blood, he thirst for companionship. It's hard being immortal and forever young, seeing everyone you used to know grow old and pass away. Finally deciding that it was too dangerous, he just stayed outside, envious of the loud music and chattering he hears from inside. Then, he saw someone, a girl, walk out of the bar. He smiled. "Looks like today's my lucky day." He said, approaching the girl.

Elizabeth heard someone say something about it being their lucky day, so she looked in the direction of the voice. She saw a guy that looked around the same age as her walking toward her. "And why would that be?" she asked him. She had no issues talking to one person, and she had time to kill, probably a few hours worth, so no harm in talking to this guy. And this place was pretty well traveled, so if he meant to murder her or something, she felt pretty confident that he wouldn't have the chance here.

He smiled at her, clearly amused. Most girls would have probably run, or swoon. But this one stood her ground, and he is absolutely impressed. "Interesting. You know, your parents should have warned you about talking with strangers." He said, smiling as he approached her. "So, let me introduce myself. I am Sebastian Bloodthorne, and you are?" He ask, extending his hand to her.

Elizabeth shrugged, "They did, but I think of that as more of a guideline, not a rule." she said and shook his hand. "I'm Elizabeth Greene." She introduced herself. "So were you going inside? Or just waiting out here until some unsuspecting girl came out so you could go all Norman Bates on them?" She joked.

"Well, be it a guideline or a rule, we're not strangers anymore. Technically, we're acquaintance." He said, smiling at her. Though he has a feeling that she will still talk to her even if they were strangers. He chuckled as he heard her comment. "Oh no, I won't pull of a Norman Bates at you. It's too obvious." He said, grinning. "Well, it is too noisy inside, and besides, I just want someone to talk to. Now you understand why it's my lucky day." He said.

She nodded and smiled a little, "Sure, I get it." She said. "So, what do you want to talk about then." She asked him. She thought it was a little odd that he was hanging around a bar and just wanted someone to talk to. But she let it go for now, to each their own she supposed.

He shrug. "I don't know. I just wanted some company, that's all." He said, which is true. When you live to be 750 years old, you really just want to feel another person's presence. Whatever things you want to talk about doesn't matter, as long as the person is there.

Elizabeth looked at him carefully before she responded, "Alright, well, are you from around here?" She asked. It was a pretty weak conversation starter, but she couldn't think of anything else. That and she wasn't quite sure what just wanting some company meant. Not many people just wanted company, at least not in this day and age.

He smiled. "Great. I know an awesome coffee shop near here. They are also open all night, so better for us then, unless you have something else to do." He said. As much as he would like to have her accompany him, he can't let her leave her present obligations.

She looked at her watch and then back up at Sebastian. "As long as I'm back in a few hours it'll be fine. I doubt my friends will be done before midnight, meaning I've got time to kill." she told him. "And coffee sounds pretty good right now. So, yeah, lets go."

He smiled, glad that she had chosen to go with him. We arrive at the coffee shop. The place is nice. It's cozy and warm, the ambience very homely. "What would you like to order?" He ask, going over to the counter. "Don't worry, I'll pay for it."

The coffee shop was nice, warm, brightly lit, she liked it there. She had never been to this particular coffee shop before, if the coffee was actually good she might come back here sometime. She looked up at the menu and then over at sebastian, "Are you sure, because I can pay for my own." She told him. If she could avoid it she wasn't going to have him pay for his coffee, she barley knew the guy.

"Oh no, I insist on paying. Besides, you've chosen to accompany me, even though we barely know each other. You've done more than enough for me, this is the least that I could do." He said, signaling that they're ready to order. "How are you doing Sebastian? And who's that pretty girl you're with?" The waitress ask, obviously close to you. "I'm fine Hazel. This is my friend, Elizabeth. I'll have espresso, double shot. And whatever the lady wants." He said, the waitress looking at her, waiting for her to order.

After some internal debate Elizabeth ordered a caffe mocha. She want really a fan of people buying things for her, partly because sometimes it was awkward. The other part would be because it made her feel like she owed them something in return. And she hated owing people things, it gave them something to hold over her head if they ever had the occasion to use it. However, she felt they were about equal at the moment, so it was more the awkward thing. "So, you obviously come here a lot." She said, referencing the fact that the waitress knew him. "And so that means you've got friends, right? Why did you need my company?" She wasn't necessarily looking for an answer, just kind of thinking out loud.

"Excellent choice. Their caffe mocha is absolutely delicious." He said as she ordered. She looks really troubled, probably feeling awkward since this is the first time we met and we are already having coffee with each other, with me paying. He look at her as she ask him a question. "Well, they are now all dead because they grew old. I never age, I'm a vampire." is what he wanted to say, but of course he can't do that. "Oh they're busy tonight. They're with their families." He said, which is not exactly a lie. They are with their families, who are also buried in their graves.

That was a good enough answer for her, so she just moved on. "You're from around here then?" She asked. She had never seen him before, but that meant absolutely nothing considering there were a lot of people in this town she had never seen before. It was a pretty big town.

"Ah yes, I am from here. The big old house on top of the hill, the one with no neighbors, that's mine." He said, the coffee arriving just in time. He sipped the coffee, enjoying its bittersweet taste and delicious aroma. Even though he had no need for caffeine, being a vampire and all, he loves coffee. "You, which part of the city are you from?"

"The house on top of the hill, that's a pretty impressive place." She commented and took a drink of her coffee. "I grew up in a neighborhood just outside of the city. I actually just moved back here a few months ago, I live in an apartment downtown now." She told him, purposely omitting some details. She wasn't going to explain much more unless he directly asked her. She wasn't too proud of her job, and didn't have many personal accomplishments thus far in her life. So she thought it better to just skip over that stuff.

He sip his coffee slowly, feeling its warmth. He also has another reason why he drinks coffee. Being a vampire, he has no body temperature, which is why his skin is ice cold to the touch, but by drinking coffee, alcohol, or just being in the sun, his skin heats up. "Ah, downtown then. So what do you do for a living? I assume that you have a work, seeing that you're renting an apartment." He ask her.

"I'm a... secretary. It's just a temporary thing." She said, "At least I hope it will only be a temporary thing. Because it's boring and it sucks, but I've got to make money some way, so I'm stuck with it for now." She didn't like talking about her job. She had had all of these plans when she went to college and all of that went to shit and never happened. The fact that she even had this job just reinforced the fact that she failed, so she tried not to dwell on it. "What about you? You must have an awesome job in order to afford that house." Elizabeth said, changing the subject.

(Just to make sure, do you have a problem with me cursing? I won't use it a ton, but if you would prefer that I didn't then I wont. I figured I would ask you really quick before we got too deep into the rp.)

He smiles, feeling a little pity for her. It is hard to find a job nowadays, especially one that you love to do. "It's fine dear. Don't worry, when time comes, you will surely find the job you want to have." He said, smiling at her reassuringly. He looked a little shocked when she asks him what is his job. "Well, not to look like a rich, arrogant bastard, but I inherited all of my money. In the mean time, I am an art collector, antique paintings and other important things and auctioning them to the highest bidder." He said, trying to be as humble as possible. Most of the people think he's just a rich but lazy snob because of this.

(Why of course, cursing is allowed.)

"Well, too late man, I can definitely tell that your a rich, arrogant bastard." She joked. "Taking someone to a coffee shop to have a conversation with them? It was a dead giveaway." She paused for a second, thinking about how cool that was compared to how lame her job was. "In all seriousness though, that must be pretty nice. You can do anything that you want." Of corse she knew that wasn't entirely true, you can't always do anything you want, just most things. "Did you inherit the house too, or did you buy it? I mean, that house has been there for a long time."

(Cool, just thought I'd check before I did too much with it.)

He smiled, appreciating her jokes. This is the first time he met someone like her. Most people would have left after hearing that, either too embarrassed or jealous. Worse are those who turns all flirty, hoping to get some of his fortune. He appreciated how down to earth she is, not changing who she was. "Well, that house has been in our family for countless of generations. In fact, the house was there before people even began building a city around it." He said, which is true, except the hand me down part. It has been his ever since he decided to settle down. "It has been repaired countless of times, but neve altered." He said, sipping his coffee.
