Being a fat gamer is quite okay.  I got no beef with overweight people.  Its just when people go days (weeks?) without showering that I tend to stay away.

Wow, I really hate to intrude on this most entertaining of arguments, but I just HAD to thank Dragon-Blood for making me realize that I am a big, fat, smelly gamer
My fault, that came out wrong.

would recruit Exalted players, but I also tend to stay away from the big fat smelly gamers (and those are the ones that RP).
I meant: ...the big fat smelly gamers (and those are the ones that RP at my local store

And you are correct, I am not overweight nor smelly.

Fat smelly gamers, eh?

2) I don't have any friends that play Exalted.  I play online via the WW chat.  So no, its not a result of fucking around with dipshit friends.  Whether they are good players or not, strictly depends on the person, but yes I have beaten good players and I have beaten bad players.  I still stand near 90% in my results.

This explains everything.
I don't see what's wrong with the WW chat, but either way I am not fortunate enough to have a local game store that has Exalted players.  So I do what I can to play.

Fat smelly gamers? *snorts* I see...hmmm, any of my rp groups'd be rather far from that.... If anything half those I play with are almost unhealthily thin...self included. Hell, on one site I played on an ST looked at my character desc, where I used my own 6'2 140lb as part of my desc and questioned whether such was even a viable person... Admittedly, I have met a few overweight gamers...but in my experience obesity is no more common among such than among the 'normal' population...and if anything slightly less common. As for the smelly...although I have met a total of 1 smelly gamer... perhaps my preponderence of LARPing has scewed my view, but most gamers I know tend to be rather scrupulous about cleanliness.

Sorry sorry!  See my above post!  I DO NOT think all RPer's are big fat smell gamers!   :)  Sorry for the confusion.

Come on, guys. Joseph schooled him good . . . what you are doing now is like the sloppy, sloppy seconds of owning someone through message board.

lol

What are you talking about?  I don't think it is possible to be schooled in something that wasn't even a real debate.

Thats like saying: "Hey look that student just got owned by his math teacher."

No shit the person with more experience is going to teach the person with less.  I made my point, I learned what I needed to know, and all is well.  I don't feel schooled or PWNED (!)...

And the more and more I read most these threads, it seems like everyone sucks Joseph's balls way too much, probably for fear of INTERNET ONLINE HUMILIATION (~oh no~).  For example, the thread with Joseph's artwork: totally not funny.  And yet many responses said it was funny.  Maybe I am not in touch with that side of me (Or Joseph, cause things might be funny if you actually know the person) but I just found it lame.

Anyways, as I said, you can call it whatever you want.  I am learning from ~most~ of the responses (although that is going to shit with almost every new reply) and if you want to call that ownage, or being school, then have fun.

Aw, I was just having a spot of fun.  I agree it's not something we should harp on, but what good is it to be able to reply to a message if you can't poke fun at some small portion of it.  See, this is why I generally don't participate...I'm just so bad at it when I do.  Oh well...I'll try to be good.

And, umm, GB...stop taking cuts like that please.  I'm all for lively disagreements, but really, there's no need to start attacking other people just because they tend to agree with the person you're dissagreeing with.

Okay.

I know, but he'd had enough. Don't take it the wrong way or anything . . . he just up against the rope and someone had to throw in the towel because he just wouldn't stay down.

And the more and more I read most these threads' date=' it seems like everyone sucks Joseph's balls way too much, probably for fear of INTERNET ONLINE HUMILIATION (~oh no~). [/quote']
I seriously doubt anyone who is fond of my style, behavior, and personality is such because they are afraid of me making fun of them.  All of them recognize that no amount of pleasantness towards me would prevent me from attacking them over presented stupidity, meaning their sucking up would not be achieving the intended effect.

For example' date=' the thread with Joseph's artwork: totally not funny.  And yet many responses said it was funny.  Maybe I am not in touch with that side of me (Or Joseph, cause things might be funny if you actually know the person) but I just found it lame.  [/quote']
Of course it was lame, it was MEANT to be lame.  It was a goofy joke making fun of White Wolf, not serious satire or a well thought out standup comedy routine.  In particular, it makes fun of one of the chapter fictions in Exalted: the Dragon Blooded, which I found somewhat silly, and thus I charicatured it using sloppy art.

But of course it was lame; it was meant to be lame.  I don't think anyone that happened to find it amusing found it so because I was its creator, however, they simply saw it for what it was and had a laugh, much as would one watching Anchorman.

Anyways' date=' as I said, you can call it whatever you want.  I am learning from ~most~ of the responses (although that is going to shit with almost every new reply) and if you want to call that ownage, or being school, then have fun.[/quote']
I wouldn't call it any of those things, for what it's worth.  I believe Andrew was saying what he said more in your DEFENSE than anything, however, pointing out that I had just been somewhat harsh to you, and others now jumping on to be harsh to you for its own sake would be somewhat unfair and mean for its own sake.

Okay.  Thanks for the reply Joseph, I think it was a good way to end this thread.  I don't really want to get in an arguement with anyone about something non-exalted related.  It's not worth it, and ultimately I don't think it accomplishes anything.

Thanks for all the responses guys, but with this thread I am over and out.  I don't really want something that has nothing to do with Exalted to effect my "stay" at these forums.

Peace, all.
