"Nope. But we know it has claws of some sort." Pulling out her knives again, Willa scaled a building and perched on the roof, scanning below for the monster.
"Yes." She didn't elaborate, only pulled out her stele, gripping a small rock in the other hand. Starting to walk back to where Percy and Emily were, she called over her shoulder to Kitt. "Well? Are you coming?"
Percy opened one eye, grumbling under his breath. He could hear people approaching. Reluctantly, he dragged himself to his feet, letting the voice inside his head prattle on.
"I can smell two of them coming, buddy. One is that girl from before and the other stinks of... Honestly, I'm not sure"
Percy rolled his eyes, and made his way out of the alley, hands stuff in his pockets as per usual.
Hearing the crash, Willa sighed and turned around. Sticking a hand out to Kitt to help him up, she said with a trace of amusement, "Be careful. Those walls are pretty flimsy.
The girl bounced up and down on the balls of her feet. "Hey! Hey! Look what I found!" Almost like a child would, she shoved the rock at Percy. It seems to be a
normal rock, with a long slash mark down the middle.
"It's a special rock, though. It's a tracking rock." Pointing at the claw mark, she explained, "Look, the slash is preserved. The creature that did it can be easily tracked. So.. do the blood thing."
Percy pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out an exasperated sigh.
"I suppose you're just as special as said rock then, and it's not a 'blood thing' as you so expertly called it. Besides, we don't know how old it is, so it may be useless..."
