Creation & Wine

and for that we need to go out to the wyld and use wyld shaping technique to get the impossible ingredients to make the impossible artifact and have it make us the impossible wine
Why go through all the bother? If you have the ability to call things out of the primordial chaos, just get the wine directly. Don't dick around with Craft rolls and ingredients.

because once I have the cask of tenfold perfected winemaking

I can just poiur in the ingredients and watch the stuff come out for decades to come

requires orichalcum bands and starmetal nails

the wood of the cask must be harvested 10 years before the tree it comes from first sprouts (you got about a season's leeway there)

the spigot is moonsilver

and the cradle is 5 color jade

Add to this a hair from a dog that bit the Unconquered sun and lived

it seems to me only a HANDFUL Of dragon blooded would have the kinds of spare time to "blow" on the conspicuous consumption involved in creating super wine... and the training neccessary.

I think the charm "Sweeten the tap method" Does it well enough in most cases.

Add to this a hair from a dog that bit the Unconquered sun and lived
With the help of wyld shaping technique, what ingredients would we need to create such a dog?   :P

And how deep in the wyld should we go?

Ok, I know the Wyld can produce wondrous and impossible things, but to create something based on the premise that it affected something *in* Creation in a specific way? That's stretching it...

Wouldn't creating and using something like that constitute something of a paradox, once introduced to *actual* Creation? (A dog that *has* bitten US, but not really....:-D )

It's basically exploiting a glitch (the Wyld) to fulfill a qualification for use within a system (Creation). i.e., it's like a cheat for Creation. It wouldn't really cause paradox, because it's in its nature that it bypasses the route by which things cause paradox.

*sniff* Ahh, Pinot of Nexus, the Northern slope! You shouldn't have! At least you didn't get the flood water special of '56. Terrible year for Nexian wines...

Yes...I love this idea.

More rice wines!  Plum! Peaches! Apple jack!  Mead!

The Creation needs more than wimpy grape wines.

actually I was gonna take a very young and innocent puppy to Yu Shan and present him to Sol Invictus between turns at the godcrack... puppies are innocent enough that it wont get more than a spanking

the tree was the difficult one, find a part of the wyld where tree lifecycles are backwards

the tree was the difficult one' date=' find a part of the wyld where tree lifecycles are backwards[/quote']
Remember.. the deep wyld is one fucked up place...   where fish fly, birds breathe underwater and... the tree's lifecycle is inverted... might not even need the wyld shaping charm.. IF you look carefully...

So I am going to start on the mapping of grape wine appelacians (spelling) in creation. After that I will go with more fruit varieties. Baby steps...

Is this like asking why every almost every alien species on star trek speaks english?
For your personal games, using RW-derived names for wines and spirits is pefectly acceptable and should add considerable detail to a wide-spread cultural element during play.

If you intend your material to be viewed by a wider audience, you may want to work out made-up names.

Create a list of your RW-derived names, and go down the list writing in the made-up names until you are done.  Revise as necessary.  Adjust for historical developments in spirits in the canon game world (if any).  Post as an article here.  I will copy it and use it my game.  Victory!

I look forward to exploiting your hard labor.
